  1. I really enjoyed the episode esp the 2 detectives storyline
  2. I wouldn't say they were illegal, just not as many needed for smuggling in alcohol once prohibition ends to stay profitable w/o that revenue. Alcohol smuggling is keeping 30 open.
  3. Me too, I kept thinking of the dismissive wife in the Wayfair jingle commercial. ETA: If I had double ovens, I would hate to go down to just one
  4. I thought it was a fun show - Martha seemed more at ease than I've ever seen her on TV Loved seeing her menagerie

  6. There is that... MY idea laundry would be next to the kitchen, if you're stuck cooking, you can do a few loads at the same time I also wouldn't mind a laundry dumbwaiter in the scenario too.
  7. I was truly flummoxed when Ina used jarred/ground nutmeg a few times during the episode - even Rachel Ray grates the nut and Ina has done so in the past. I saw a McCormick's commercial ran during the show, I wonder if the ground nutmeg use was a subtle commercial?
  8. Growing up in working-class Chicago, those kind of house aren't/weren't uncommon w/housing a family w/a couple of kids, My house is one of those - LR/DR are 11.5 wide and 3 bdrms are about 8ft wide. My old neighbor raised 6 kids in one Kids played in the attic or basement(unfinished)....or went outside to play
  9. Sweater guy reminded me of Austin Scarlett from Project Runway.
  10. Really disliked in last episode that she removed the kitchen eating area space
  11. Yes, I know he was respected cleaner w/costumes and high-end garments - but I'm sure the extra exposure didn't hurt his business-- plus probably word of mouth recommendations from the other HO-wives as well Also, remember when Bethenny mentioned he moth-proofed her closet--seem to recall her saying it was $10,000...and on her flipping series w/Frederik, John cleaned the upholstery after wine was spilled berfore the open house?
  12. Probably it's his exposure on the show which I'm sure has helped his cleaning business.
  13. Speaking of, Beth was on HSN tonight w/her Skinny Girl clothing
  14. I was pleasantly surprised as well - Ree seems more at ease I also like that if something goes astray like the tater tots falling on the counter when poueing them on the platter, well shit happen ignore it, Same w/big clump of frozen peas coming out of the bag and Ree just taking the out and puttng them to the side. I know people rag on Rachel Way, but I don't mind if the episode isn't perfect. ,
  15. Add to the fridge nightmare, there wasn't any 'landing' spot nearby for staging things going into & out of the refrigerator. I don't why she didn't at least incorporate refrigerated drawers near the stove to hold things like butter, milk, eggs, etc for convenience.
  16. HGTV Tues 8pm CT For home restoration expert Tamara Day, there's no such thing as a home that's too big! This Kansas City native and mother of four specializes in restoring the neglected large homes that others are too scared to take on. She brings these big beauties back to life so that new families can move in and love them again. Not enjoying the finished decor as much this season of shows Re Shirtwaist house I thought putting the fridge in the pantry was such a miss.
  17. Re Merch Not the biggest fan of Chip & Jojo. but I do admire how they helped Waco - much like The Beekman Boys did for Sharon Springs yrs earlier. I hope Ben & Erin help can give that same boost to Laurel
  18. Valerie's Home Cooking ... New Season Begins Sunday May 10th, 11:30a|10:30c.
  19. I was thinking Viola may have told her a film crew would be coming to do something on Viola and her longtime friend--celebrity friendship kind of thing feature, but was genuinely surprised instead by seeing the Property Bros standing there too.
  20. Ina Garten is returning to a new season of Barefoot Contessa: Cook Like a Pro Garten's Food Network series premieres on Saturday, May 16.
  21. I really wish they would have installed a Murphy bed in the new office of Viola's friend, They had a bed in there for a reason... I really wish these show would do a behind the scenes episode like...what's happens to all the HO's possessions they don't use? Also, who pays the taxes, etc How do they get permits so fast--and inspection.
  22. The series also stars Daniel Zovatto as Tiago Vega, the LAPD’s first Mexican American detective, and Nathan Lane as his Jewish partner Lewis Michener, who is wrestling with his own unease with the rise of anti-Semitism. The premiere starts with the two trying to solve the gruesome murders of several white Angelenos, which appear intended to incite tension between the white and Latino residents of the city. https://variety.com/2020/tv/news/penny-dreadful-city-of-angels-star-natalie-dormer-magda-game-of-thrones-1234588742
  23. My take, the penis urethra and the vagina/urethra are openings than could possibly allow C-19 into the body if you have the virus on your hand(s)
  24. My thinking is the house is in the Mt Greenwood neighborhood of Chicago on the far so'west side. Melissa's cousin Jenny McCarthy grew up there - and it's a popular area for police and fire employees to live who have to reside in the city boundaries by law, Other guess is Jefferson Park on the far nor'west side - also popular area for police and fire employees to live.
  25. Paris has 11.8 million Instagram followers 16.9 million on twitter Ain't too shabby...
