It very much depends on local law. Michigan for example, simply needs to be made aware of violence between two parties, and the state immediately becomes the complainant in case one party wishes to withdraw allegations. It's particularly prevalent in domestic violence cases, and as such, they put a stop to it by enacting this law. More than a few states operate this way to my understanding, and I think CA is one of them. Could be wrong though! :-)

Regarding the bloody milk, pretty sure that's people going batshit trying to get the milking done quickly. To be fair a good, maggoty, dead fish is a truly fine nourishment for saplings you're transplanting to their first big hole in the ground. Smaller fishes are useful for corn. I'm absolutely certain non of these folks are aware of these things. Also, I'm sure that CLEANLINESS is far more important than nutrition Red. And lastly...Ramsey's wife married down.
