That sounds like the Gorgas. Teresa not only invited them, but Joe was asked to be in the wedding. I wished this would have been pushed further. But he was non-committal, all because Melissa was not asked to be bridesmaid. But when she was asked and said no, he then drags up why her family was snubbed, lol. Honestly, do any of them really care? No. But the Gorgas, who are notorious for their fake storylines and bad business dealings, need to keep pushing the family feud. HW is the most consistent paycheck they've had.

It doesn't work that way. Because if you look at Idol's Facebook, IAM and Colin are very strong. In addition, Oliver and Tyson have gotten great edits. Wei is the most popular girl. But here's the problem she faces. She was very high profile from The Voice - finished Top 3. In the end, Idol will want to push a name that they found.

The Gorgas have a history of bad business dealings, lawsuits against them. There was the family restaurant, garage truck business that went nowhere. He had a landscape business that failed. The same with Melissa's singing career (after spending tons of $ building a home studio), her being an author. She was sued by her business partner at Envy. And look at how many times they have moved homes - likely because of financial issues. I don't think Jen was lying when she said Margaret told her Joe Gorga was notorious for not paying his bills. She probably got that from Joe B who also works in construction.

The producers said there were about 150 people in Hollywood Week. The Mentors and the Focus Areas are as follows. The consensus is that Idol made good choices here. Stage Presence - Justin/Jordin Confidence - Clay/Archie Songwriting - Phillip/Catie. I interpret this to be more song selection. Notes about this episode - I don't think the winner will be from here. This was obviously another desperate attempt by Jackie to save her job. But it didn't work. She ended up getting demoted. Here's Dolores blasting Jackie - to mind her own business and worry about her own sister - since we don't know their real story, or even a quarter of it. And that Danielle should go after that.

The same hypocrite who has talked about appearances, because of her eating disorder - but was gossiping about Danielle's looks. Jackie really played herself big time. She all but willingly handed over her spot on the show to Danielle - with her desperation - to latch on to anything - nothing.

The kid is always posturing for the cameras - just like her mother. It comes off very manufactured - and annoying. Remember Jenn had tried to get on the show for years. Now she has inserted herself as Teresa's ride or die. She's complained about how her mother has treated her father. Yet, she's repeating that in her marriage. The Aydins will likely be the casualty of many HW marriages that have imploded.

Preston's song was charting on ITunes. It reached as high as #12. The judges were praising him on his song writing. Same with Keelan. Neither are professional singers, which is what Idol was intended to be. But as Kathy said, expect those who have more experience to be judged harder.

My takeaway from this episode. We won't be seeing Jackie after this season. She said she was filming constantly - but was barely even shown as a "friend". She must have sense that Danielle was a huge threat - and she's right. BRAVO has been hit (Garcelle, Sutton) and miss (Diana, Leah, Eboni) with casting. But they made the right call with replacing boring Jackie with Danielle.

For me, Olivia Soli lost points for an uninspiring and overdone song choice - Hello. It's the difference between someone who is a vocalist - vs someone who is an artist.
