Completely agree. I never got the hype over him. i always felt if the show thought he really had that much of a good size fanbase they would have started giving him better partners (like how Val caught on fast his first couple of season). All the clips I've seen so far look great. The NFL dance and the Maks/Meryl & Alfonso/Witney duel I'm really looking forward to.

I may think many things about Kanye but I actually believe this did happen. I dont think Bruce was blowing smoke about this. For one everything felt so real and honest so I doubt Bruce needed Kanye's money for the sake of adding in some bullshit to make Kanye look good. The words just sounded like something Kanye would say and regardless of how fucked up we think this family is, he is Kim's husband. Its not a surprise that he would know exactly what to say to get through to her and as her husband he probably did sit down with her and try and help her make sense of things. Last night during Dancing With the Stars they showed a new promo for the Diane Sawyer interview. This one is a bit longer than the one thats been out there and you see Bruce sitting with Diane and you can tell just how long and feminine his hair his, and he says something along the lines of "all I'm concerned with is my family, I cant let myself hurt them". I'll definitely be watching this. I have a feeling this might be more intriguing than the E special.

Witney also came from SYTYCD. While she wasn't very popular in her first season as a pro,she went on to win the next season. Granted she had it easy with Alfonso but if anything it showed simply coming from SYTYCD won't necessarily be held against you.

I know its been said that being in jeopardy doesnt necessarily mean anything, but c'mon now. If Ryker was really pulling in that many votes they wouldnt have put him in jeopardy just for the hell of it nor would they be throwing around 10's tonight. I think he really has been one of the lower vote getters. Hes got a loud online fanbase but we've seen plenty in the past that those big fanbases for the youngins dont always translate into votes. I'm sorry for saying this because I know its going to sound extremely shallow..but Willow's eyebrows drove me nuts tonight. I'm not a fan of super thin or penciled eyebrows but if youre going to have thick eyebrows they at least need to be brushed. Chris was much better this week but overscored.

Suzanne was on Good Day NY yesterday promoting a new book. Good lord she is annoying. When the hosts (who suck up to everyone who's a guest) told her how good she was on DWTS and that they were surprised she got booted her answer was "I know, I was surprised too. I thought my last dance was cute". Then she proceeded to to start rambling again about how she was fired back in the day, and brought up about how she fought to be paid the same as John then had the nerve to talk about how they reconciled a month before he died. She said thats why she dedicated her dance to him and repeated the line about Chrissy and Jack having the dance they never got a chance to have. It cant be said enough that is such a slap in the face to Joyce DeWitt who was just as much as the show as she was. Its really annoying how she keeps trying to make it like it was the Jack and Chrissy show.

The itunes numbers this year are much, much worse than last year and the year before. Last season Alex and Sam would occasionally at the least crack the Top 50 and even Caleb who was one of the worse selling when it came to iTunes would get as high as #300 some weeks. Back during season 11 the week we got the numbers leak Colton got all the way up to #25 and Phillip was in the 80's IIRC. This season the only person who has even hit the 100's is Clark. Jax got about as high as 450 one week and the others range barely crack #700. Quentin this week with all buzz around the drama couldnt even get past 1200. You would think the people who are so devastated at the prospect of him missing out on the tour could throw him a bone so he could at least make a few dollars off his track.

Joey seems like a perfectly nice girl but I cant say I'm sad to see her go. I get that she's considered "unique" but the tone of her voice I never liked and for me it was bordering on unpleasant. Rayvon may be boring but if I were actually participating in this Twitter save stuff I would have probably voted for him too. I thought he sounded gorgeous last night As for Quentin/Harry..well I'm in the camp that thinks they were both wrong but Quentin should have never approached the judges table. He did look pissed. And I'm sure all of them are bummed to see their friends in the bottom every week and when someone has to go. All I kept thinking when Quentin expressed his anger about the wrong bottom two, I was like "ok, well wanna change spots with your BFF if youre that sad for her?" Yes these two remain the only ones I care much about. Clark isnt the most engaging performer but his voice is the ones that makes me feel something and I think hes just adorable. I started following him on Instagram last week and he actually does have a personality and comes across as a typical young guy, especially in some of the videos he posts. I'm not convinced Tyanna has the kind of fanbase to get all the way to final 2 but I'll keep voting.

She said once she uses the Blackberry for business phone calls and emails. Iirc a while back she was being encouraged to switch to iPhone but she loved the Blackberry so she just chose to use both Kim may not be a genius but I can see why she gets a lot of business related calls.

When she started sobbing last night I got flashbacks to last seasons switch and she broke down backstage after getting 5's. Logically I know it probably IS frustrating but Witney needs to have a talk with Emma who seems to get screwed every season when it comes to partners. She's had a cakewalk compared to Emma.

This whole thing really rubbed me the wrong way, and this is from someone who loved Witney/Alfonso and really dont care too much about Chris but WTF? I said weeks ago that going from Alfonso to someone like Chris would be a struggle for Witney and it was never more apparent last night. I know her and Alfonso are still very tight and she views him as a big brother so I get wanting that feeling of comfort and moral support when you are clearly struggling, but to make it like bringing him in would somehow benefit Chris was beyond stupid. I felt like screaming "Alfonso is NOT your partner anymore, you have a partner who needs the proper help and guidance from YOU"! Someone upthread said she really showed her age and I completely agree. I dont fault Alfonso because I think he meant well, even the nonsense where he was at the steps..I think he was trying to make Witney feel better. But girl needs to suck it up.

Whether an album is considered good or not is definitely a subjective thing, but I thought Phillip Phillip's debut was great and not at all overproduced pop. I didnt even like him on AI but I ended up buying it because I loved "Home" and his follow-up single. The whole album turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The beauty of the way music reaches the masses today is that you dont have to buy an album to hear what it sounds like, go on YouTube or Spotify and take a listen and you might find some surprises. For all the crap Caleb and Candice get for being the worst selling winners, their albums werent bad at all. But my favorites are probably Carrie's Some Hearts and Daughtry's debut, two albums that not only sold massively but spawned many hits.

I'd like to think by that time life will be a bit more normal, fame will have faded for the whole Kardashian clan and that North will have a more normal-away from the spotlight life. Kendall recently dealt with an incident where not only did she almost get trampled on but some crazed fan tried to grab her and kiss her so I cant fault her for wanting a bodyguard with her.

I think Clark could do fine with Sam Smiths type of music. But Borchetta keeps saying in interviews he wants to hear him sing a pure pop song..he probably wants to see if he could be a pop artist if they do have to market him. If he wins and the label gets him a GREAT song he could end up doing well. Back during season 11 P2 was predicted to be the worst winner ever and would be an embarrassment to Idol, an amazing song changed things. I agree as a whole Jax is the most marketable and I suspect is Scott's fave. I don't think they WANT Clark to win but I wouldn't be surprised if he's leading the votes and are just preparing for it. Eta: the problem with Nick being marketed like a Daughtry type artist is that even Daughtry isn't remotely as popular as he was a few years ago. That whole sound isn't in now. Chris came right off AI during a time when that Nickelback sound was huge.

Well, the difference this year and last year is this year is a new label is involved and I've listened to enough Scott Borchetta interviews to know he REALLY wants to get a star out of this and he seems set on willing to invest money even if it means signing some who dont end up winning. IMO Big Machine wants to prove Idol can still make stars with their help. Interscope had that same enthusiam the first 2 seasons, then last year they were checked out and saw they had no moneymakers in the group, not to mention they got an unmarketable winner. This hasnt happened in quite some time. I cant even remember the last time a non-winner have ended up with a pretty decent career. The Daughtry's and Lamberts just dont happen anymore. Maybe Colton Dixen I would say since he carved out a nice CCM career. .

Khloe and Alex Roldan look like twins so I could easily believe he's her real father..but I'm sure as far as she's concerned Robert was always the father she knew best and loved just as if he were her real father. I have no problems with her going on this trip which is pretty much just a big family trip anyway. North sure looks adorable with her natural hair loose and not pulled back in a tight bun..hell even Kim looks nice.

Maybe this is why I like Clark, and I liked Carrie too back during season 4 when she was made fun of on all the AI boards because she didnt move..but I care about one thing when I watch these shows - good singing. And Clark gives me chills when he sings. There was a time when thats all you had to do to win AI was to be a good singer, before instruments were allowed and whether or not you rearrange songs the right way. I'll gladly take Clark standing there every week singing well over some of the trainwreck performances, ridiculous outfits or overly affected singing.

I too laughed at some of Keo's reactions. Thought he gave some good comments too. I usually really love Anna but it continues to annoy me that "Miss Patti" keeps getting a pass.Why should everyone else get criticized for lack of content but Patti could do whatever the hell she wants where she looks like she barely breaks a sweat and get away with it. Anna even said "doesnt matter, I could watch Patti all day" when her lack of content was brought up. Ridiculous.

Yeah and he apparently got breast implants within the last couple of weeks and those will be revealed on the special, along with preparing for the surgery.
