The last 2 seasons Derek came in 4th place and the season right before that he came in 2nd so I dont think it would be seen as no one else can win while Derek is there. Last season Noah beat not only bigger stars but better dancers (and that's only a quick example off the top of my head). And lord knows I can go on about all the not so great dancers making it farther than they should. The DWTS audience has a type they will vote for and I could have predicted weeks ago Alek would end up an audience fave. Far worst dancers than him have got to this point.

I don't believe the record label has a say nor does the artist. I'm pretty sure its the songwriters who own the rights to songs. If multiple people own the rights (like say there are 3-4 writers on a song) sometimes clearance issue can be messy and that could have been the case with what didnt clear. Now in the case of Larger Than Life I wanna say that's a Max Martin song and he's pretty good with clearing songs for TV. Have we even seen evidence Kim is traveling all over the place? Anytime I've seen her photographed recently its walking around in LA. If she was jetsetting all over I would say its a problem. I know she did that when she was pregnant with North but I havent seen where she's doing it now. I was just reading an interview with Kelly Clarkson where she's complaining about how awful her 2nd pregnancy is (she also complained non-stop about her 1st one). What's interesting to me is that looking at the comments section the worst she's getting hit with is fat shaming, people saying she looks awful while Kim is tarred and feathered and having bad things wished on her because she dare to complain. And Kelly just came off some traveling as a result of a tour she started but had to cancel. So Kim isn't the only pregnant woman who isn't glued to her couch. And frankly even if Kim DID stay home and do nothing it wouldnt automatically reduce any pregnancy problems she's having. Some women are just prone to them.

Me. And Carlos has his share of fans due to the Big Time Rush fanbase. I came into this season as a big BSB fan rooting for Nick. But as we've seen happen often on this show, surprises happen. I've been completely underwhelmed by Nick. I can think of only 2 dances that I really enjoyed and even those dances I wouldnt put in the category of some of the really fantastic, standout dances we've seen from winners in other seasons. IMO he's messed up more than turned in standout dances. While Carlos I've found more entertaining and overall find his dancing more enjoyable. I also really like Witney so I'me pleased to throw votes to her. Last year Noah beat Nastia, so I have no problem believing Alek (who I believe may have a similar fanbase to) is pulling in more votes than some may think he is.

This is me as well. I consider "Bo" to be my first major crush and pretty much the reason I started watching soaps. I can remember being 12 years old and my mother always watching DAYS and I never took much interest until I looked at the TV one day and saw Bo in his motorcycle jacket (I can even remember so clearly till this day it was a scene with Bo, Roman, Marlena and Eugene!) and I was suddenly I found myself watching more and more and making my mother record it on VHS. I think I even wrote Peter a fan letter sometime around when Bo and Hope were in New Orleans (the beautiful Oak Alley episodes) Damn you Days for killing a huge piece of my childhood! That is so messed up! You would think considering how long both actors have been in this business they could learn to be professional enough to tolerate each other for the sake of the show.
