  1. I think Gerry should pick Robyn from Sister Wives. They can (fake) cry all the time together. And it will be fun to watch them battle to make everything about them.
  2. I can understand her crying, though. Losing a parent, even if it's not to death, brings out the child in us. Even when we're grown, there's a certain safety we feel in life if we still have a parent. We may not even realize that until they're gone. It's like they're a buffer between us and all the things the world and life can do to us. I realized that when my second parent died. She's feeling grief on top of grief. That's a lot.
  3. I know! I was worried about that. I wanted to tell him, don't take the cake home. There may be bugs on it that will multiply.
  4. I do feel bad for Danielle, but I hate when women call other women bitches. I was very impressed with how he took care of his mom and Mary during Bugapalooza.
  5. I wish someone would just tell Jasmine, if Gino wanted to fool around with other women, why would he bother to marry you? On Pillow Talk: Bilal is still annoying. I kind of feel like he and Shakeeda (or is that his sister's name?) are performing a show called "We're Fun!" vs the others just relaxedly having fun. Betty and her husband (Ron?) were the same way.
  6. I'm starting to think when Robyn does that look-up thing she always seems to do that she's actually looking into the stage lights to make her eyes water.
  7. I really like the new energy Jamie has brought to the show.
  8. Oh God, Robyn's dry cryin' already.
  9. Does Igor/Justin remind anyone else of Tony Baldwin?
  10. That was brilliant!
  11. The tennis sketch was really, really funny. The taxi sketch is oddly entertaining. The rest of the show, mostly okay for me. WU had its zing back this week. Remember Lizards was funny. Didn't care for musical guest but she was really cute when she finished her first song.
  12. And, frankly, some blood on the sheets. Unless they're using hormone replacements.
  13. Theresa is smart, which for me highlights the inauthenticity of her goofy dumb act with Kathy.
  14. I think rejection will be much harder on Leslie than Theresa. Theresa has had a great love, Leslie hasn't. I wasn't assuming they had sex, though. I'm thinking probably not.
  15. WHAT A DOUCHE. I've lost respect for him. You don't have to keep your penis in your pants, but you do have to keep the I love yous outta your mouth.
  16. Waaaaiiiitt a minute. Gerry should not have told Leslie "you're the one" if she might not be. Did he not learn anything from the Faith fiasco?
  17. It was kind of a wuh-oh moment for me when the Alabama relatives were insisting American dollars must be worth more than Swiss money.
  18. He misinterpreted her facial expression. I found the preview where he says, "Whitney's in the ER and this could ruin the trip" kind of weird. That's his daughter in the ER. Of course, that's just the preview. Maybe he could tell her nicely to stop being so bossy. Maybe something like "I need you to take a backseat this trip." I can understand his wanting to look like the head of the family, not her.
  19. It was the same for me when I was a kid: When Mom yelled, it was yea, yea, Mom's yelling again. But if Dad yelled -- holy shit!!!!
  20. I really like Whitney this season. Angie and Jaime are great.
  21. Thank you! I thought it was my TV.
  22. I think Heidi is always very good in sketches, but I never like any of her solo characters. I felt kind of bad when PDD said nobody thinks they're funny. But then I remembered how incredibly lucky they are and I wondered if that was a little manipulative.
  23. Is it just me or is this episode kind of bad? The orphan sketch was entertaining, best of the night. And I liked Boy Genius.
  24. IMPULSE CONTROL, GERRY. Don't tell him it's okay. Did he marry his high school sweetheart? That would explain why he never learned romantic reticence.
  25. Is anyone else concerned that April might be anorexic? Yea, yea, Gerry's a nice guy but I wouldn't be averse to Faith telling him, "You douche. Stop telling everyone you love them."
