  1. I agree with Paul keeping Alex on the block. With Jason, Ramses and Cody on the block that is a whammy of unlikeable folks in the house. It would give Cody way too many avenues to try to convince people to keep him and vote out someone else they can't stand this week.
  2. I find it interesting that in respect to Elisabeth Moss....it is almost always written about as she was "raised in Scientology." It almost never says she is a Scientologist. I get the feeling that she's no longer active and her silence might be to still be connected with those in and not be a suppressive person. They seem to love to send the Hollywood elite out to spout the company line (like they did with Leah when she was on the inside), so the fact that she's won't say anything at all speaks volumes to me.
  3. After watching the commercial for the next season of The Challenge, I am so disappointed with how cheap MTV was when it was for charity. Some people left with 1,000 for their charity. And the 2nd and 3rd place teams didn't win anything for their charity. I was glad that Cara and Darnell won. They are the best. I was also glad Camila lost since she is the worst. Watching Lindsey get saddled with Kam....who is a great athlete, but just not meant for what a Challenge final is. It was painful to watch her just have to sit there and wait for him over and over again. She's a beast though. I think if they weren't in pairs, she'd easily win it out of all the women in the final.
  4. I agree. I never thought CT would be on the show again and probably should have been arrested after the incident with Adam, however he is a different man. He doesn't seem to be led around by his anger and rage. Better for those in his life and must be so much more peaceful for him. As for Camila, if she removed alcohol from her life....I'd make the case she'd be a completely different person as well.
  5. It's great to watch people grow, change and mature.
  6. CT worked production on the show for a couple season already. It was often why when they had some people come in for a quick one and off elimination, it was CT because he was already there with the production. At that point he didn't think he'd do any more challenges, but then dipped his foot back in the water and the rest is history. I also like having the newer version of CT in challenges. He cool, calm and collective and is doing quite well for himself. He is still physically able to compete, even though he's not the athlete he once was. He won the last challenge and is doing well in this one as well. CT's worst enemy was always himself and it seems like he's basically made that a moot point. I said this a few episodes ago, but I'll say it again....I find the friendship between Wes and CT to be so sweet. Those guys were legit rivals when they were on Rivals together. Since then....they now have turned into legit friends. Wes volunteering himself for CT spoke volumes about how much those guys are truly bros. And once upon a time in a CT rage moment....he threatened to kill Wes and his entire family.
  7. Damn CT. He was a beast and basically won that whole thing for Team Champs. He is absolutely an immovable force. He definitely deserved to be immune to elimination. I'm actually super surprised that Wes volunteered himself to go into the Elimination. He was volunteering to go against a professional athlete. And then he won. Wes can be super arrogant, but he's not unwilling to go in there and show that he deserves to be there. Ashley is such a brat. Yes, she's been in a few challenges, but with who is left...she is still the rookie. The rest of the crew have known each other forever, so you are getting picked. I get that she's upset to be going home, but she is also showing just how petty she is. Everyone made the point of telling her how great she did in the final elimination....and her bitterness showed who she was. I am sure she'll be in challenges forever, but god....I never wanna see her face again.
  8. I do like that the pros are all up in the drama. It makes me laugh. I initially thought they would be super careful to not get into drama because they have careers and fanbases and what not, but nope....they are all jumping in with both feet. And Wes selling himself as the smartest to ever play the challenge....and some are eating it up hook line and sinker. LOL. And because I love CT forever, god....he owns all the other champs, eh? He has every single vote in his pocket and loved his bravado knowing it. This is also the 2nd elimination that CT has walked Wes through. Wes should thank his lucky stars that he got coupled with CT in Rivals....and that dude now considers him a friend. CT is a good guy to have in your camp.
  9. Pic from Wes' instagram the other day.
  10. I am so glad that CT won. I read a spoiler speculating that he was the winner, but never dug deep enough to get for sure confirmation. However, I was so happy to see that rumor/spoiler be true!!! And if that is a dad bod.....dayum!!! I can't stand Smashley, but I was glad Camilla didn't win. She was so entitled....seeming as if the challenge owed her something. I hoped Nicole would win, but whatevs. I do agree that the cumulative time of the challenge is for the birds. It does seem to allow them to fudge the numbers if they want someone to win or someone not to win. It also just takes away from people running for the finish line and knowing if they cross first that they are the winner. I think it would have been way better to have the final leg have a staggered start by who is ahead and by how much. Then you'd know that CT won when he came across the line first.
  11. At least CT owned his behavior unlike most of the others on this show with excuses and justifications. I also think he matured and grew up. I'll be rooting for CT to win and rooting hard.
  12. I wish they didn't have to have partners either. If you are gonna make them free agents for the finals.....then have every man and woman for themselves. I did laugh at the beginning of the Challenge....where the Champs immediately went out to a HUGE lead. Yep. Whenever they get to the gross eating challenge...the female who is partnered with CT is gonna luck out since that boy will just house whatever is put in front of him.
  13. I loved that CT used his hunky brain to win against Darrell. Darrell didn't have a chance. Total unfair fight. Ashley is such a little brat. Yep, her friends didn't make it. Suck it up and go out there and compete. \ I did feel the whole ceremony on the Diem's anniversary was pretty emotionally manipulating of MTV. Would they have still done that ceremony if CT got sent home instead of Darrell? It just left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm not even sure that is fair, but the whole thing made me feel icky. And on to the challenge we go. If CT doesn't win this whole thing....I'm gonna be pissed. #TeamCT
  14. If you did watch the final episode.....
  15. I don't know about the other businesses....but the froyo place is still open. Some of the Yelp reviews are hilarious....the ones that trash the place and the ones clearly from fake accounts written by Farrah. https://www.yelp.com/biz/froco-lakeway
  16. ITA. I have to wonder the sense that Justin is more to blame or Justin should have done something to stop it....is because he's male or because Hannah died, but Justin is still here or another reason. Justin didn't bust in the door after Bryce locked him out to stop him. True. Hannah sat there while it was happening. Watched. Listened. You could say Justin knew what was probably happening. Hannah knew for sure. She didn't do anything or say anything. One could say she is in shock and afraid. Sure. I could make the case the same was true for Justin and he might have even more to lose if he stopped Bryce. And Justin didn't tell Jessica after what happened. True. Neither did Hannah and Hannah knew 100% what happened. She knew Jessica was conscious. She knew she told Bryce to stop. She didn't tell her that she was there and saw it either. Instead she made a tape for a dozen people to listen to about what happened to Jessica, but never told Jessica. Justin should have done more to stop it. Hannah should have done a lot more to stop it. Both clearly have a ton of regret about that. The one person who should have done a lot less is of course Bryce. Something interesting in a mind fuck disturbing way is that when people make the actual choice that they are going to commit suicide (especially for adolescents), they often become less depressed and less distraught because they see an actual end to their suffering. They see the end goal, so they are no longer lost in the fog of all the reasons that made killing themselves the only option for them. You'd be surprised when someone kills themselves and people around them that day sometimes say things like "I knew they were depressed, but he/she was having such a good day today. He/She seemed happy. Seemed good. I never thought he/she would kill themselves, etc."
  17. There was....and hence he could have and should have done more. Justin should have told him to go to hell and get bent. He didn't for reasons that aren't right, but become clear as the tapes continue. But Justin didn't rape Jessica. And he tried to hold the door closed when Bryce first went in. He also broke in and tried to stop him and failed. The other thing Justin didn't do...and it feels gross and creepy to give him credit for not being an opportunistic rapist himself, but here I go. How I expected that scene to go down is that Jessica passes out while they are fooling around. Justin decides to fuck her anyways since she sent him enough yes signals before she passed out. He leaves. Bryce comes in and she gets raped a second time. I was actually shocked when the scene showed Justin getting off her and heading for the door. I know. Bar set real low, but it's more than I expected from him at the time.
  18. Justin chose not to stop Bryce? He knocked, entered the room, tried to grab Bryce off of her and then was shoved back, shoved out of the door and Bryce locked the door behind him. That's not doing nothing in my book. Could he or should he have done more? Yes, absolutely. But I can't co-sign he chose to do nothing.
  19. Yeah, I think that the show did this well. Those kids cruelty brought Hannah to the point that suicide felt like her only option. A few of the kids are absolute villains. IMO Courtney, Marcus, Bryce. However many if not most were much more complex. If we all think back on our high school days, I am sure we ALL could think of moments that we did something that could land us on someone's tragic tape of reasons why. I do understand not only why Justin behaved the way he did after the rape. One, I do believe he thought he was protecting Jessica. If she didn't remember then in his mind, since he couldn't protect her from the rape (he did try to go in and pull Bryce off of her) then he could at least try to protect her from the emotional aftermath. Not right, but I get it. I also can understand why he would stay connected to Bryce. Bryce is a vile person, but given Justin's life....throwing Bryce away is throwing away someone who took him in when his home life turned bad, turned violent. When going to Bryce's no longer felt like an option and Justin had nowhere to go.....he was left with so few options that he had to go to Alex's house. Alex. Alex isn't his friend, but he had nowhere to go. Justin staying cool with Bryce was self-preservation and kids who live in environments like his....I can get that. And Clay. Oh Clay. Yes, maybe if you said the right thing or did the right thing, you could have "saved" Hannah. But you also listened to what she said and left when she said she didn't want you there. However, I don't exactly believe in his make believe "what I would have should have said" conversation that Hannah would have responded like that. I think she would have screamed him out the door no matter what.
  20. I agree with the rest that there is no way that they didn't do a blood test on Jeff after the accident. I'll take it as something that led the drama of Sheri's story that just isn't based in reality. In many states....if someone gives alcohol to someone who is under age and that person ends up hurting someone while drunk, the person who gave the person the alcohol can also be criminally charged.
  21. I do really feel for Jessica who has to have 12 other people listen to the story of how she was raped. Just like what was done to Hannah was not right, neither is that. I'd say I don't understand why everyone is protecting Bryce, but rape culture is pervasive. I didn't read the book, but I did watch the mini "behind the scenes" so I am a little bit spoiled about what is coming next, but I just can't see how I can agree with Tony that anything coming next would make me not want to make Bryce pay for ALL that he has done.
  22. I felt for Zach in this episode. I also think in the context of the show.....this episode had a lot of value. I think people naturally get the story of the awkward student at school, the one who gets made fun of or slut shamed....and how that person may be depressed or suicidal. However, I appreciate the point being made in this episode that students like Zach struggle too, even though you'd never know it from the outside looking in. Zach's life looks perfect....but Hannah is right, he seems really lonely for actual, real friends. I truly believe he was looking for that with Hannah. I also don't judge him for not doing something with her letter. He's a kid. The school counselor couldn't even help her. I think that's a lot to put on a 17 yr old kid. I was happily surprised that the story didn't have him "outing" her letter to embarrass her. It let me know that Zach did things that led to Hannah taking her own life...but that he's not a mean, horrible child.
  23. I figured that Tony was the Gate Keeper of the tapes when he was just everywhere....and said he wasn't in them. Nice confirmation though...and glad they didn't try to keep it as a deep dark secret. It is clear everyone else is trying to get the tapes from Clay so he doesn't pass them on to Bryce....especially when one of the guys said "should we be doing this HERE" when they were talking about the plan with Clay. Bryce is clearly not affected by this and has no idea there are tapes. I am disappointed with Clay sending that nude pic of Tyler. Sure, kid is a creeper...but Clay just let his anger turn himself into him. Did he not listen to Hannah that one small thing, one picture can change your life and just make it not worth living. Good job Clay. Asshole.
  24. Let's remember that since Jenna always seems to pick boyfriends who cheat on her.....one time that boyfriend cheated on her with her cousin. So, I'm not gonna get all over Jenna cause she was mean to her cousin once when her cousin was all kind of drama queen on a challenge.
  25. Preach on Jenna having tons and tons more class than those two. Even though this season is Champs vs. Losers....it totally feels like a Vets vs. Newbies challenge, so it does feel like Shane and Jenna are on the wrong team. All their friends are over on the other side.
