I think y'all are misunderstanding me. I never said Beth antagonized Kelly to the point she flipped out. Kelly had flipped, probably weeks before the trip. Bethenny said she KNEW that but kept poking the crazy. I agree with you, Matilidia and MotorCityMom. Kelly was attacking all over the place. Should Beth stand back and let it happen? No. But when and if I ever have to deal with a riled up person whom I say I KNOW FOR A FACT is mentally ill, (because Beth said she knew that for a fact prior to the trip) I'll usually err on the side of caution and step away. Bethenny didn't. And then she laughed about it. The laughing and high fiving about Kelly being crazy or being strung out (which we all seem to agree on) is what I think was shittier than any behavior Kelly displayed. If anybody chooses to continue to antagonize someone who is mentally incapacitated via mental illness, drugs or booze, even if they might deserve it, well.....

Horrible storyline. God, Ramona. I'd prefer sharing a room with Aviva over Ramona. At least if you don't poke Aviva she's semi-tolerable. Ramona is all obnoxious. All the time. Speakding of Aviva, I'm cutting her some slack about the wheelchair. My cousin lost his leg in Desert Storm. He needs his wheelchair to get through airports, halfway through amusement parks, the zoo - anytime he has to walk a far distance. So piss off, Heather. She's such a know-it-all. I'd venture to guess that many amputees own wheelchairs for the occaisions when they might need them. Kristen is desperate for a storyline. I think whoever said it upthread is right - she needs a job.

I agree. And whoever agrees to GET a bikini wax while being filmed should fire themselves. And while we're at it, any Ho who goes into the room while another Ho is getting waxed can go, too. Does that really happen? Didn't Kristen and Carole just meet this season?

Maybe Carole had the work done while she was out at her house in L.A. Seems to me, the surgeons in NYC are more subtle in their work whereas the surgeons in L.A. have an M.O. Everybody ends up looking the same. Puffed up lips, chipmunk cheeks and foreheads that don't move. Overdone and overdone.

LOL. You're killin' me with the sarcasm, Mat. Of course I didn't mean the gift bags, silly - I thought those were really nice. I'm talking about Bethenny, continuing to poke someone who has a mental illness. Whether WE believe Kelly truly was mentally ill is a moot point. What matters, to me anyway, is that BETHENNY said she knew all along that Kelly was crazy and on the edge of a break but continued to antagonize. Yeah, yeah, Kelly poked back but Bethenny going after Kelly in that state was like a rabid pitbull going after that spinning dog, Coconut, on Shahs of Sunset. ETA: Yup. Kelly was clearly off her rocker.

Not a huge fan of Kelly or Gretchen but watching Bethenny and Tamra tormenting those two when they were incapacitated (on Scary Island and at the Naked Wasted Dinner Party) was the lowest behavior from any of the Hos I'd ever seen. Those situations are why Bethenny or Tamra can piss off forever as far as I'm concerned. There's nothing Andy can pull out of his bag of edit tricks to ever redeem those two hags for me.

And didn't our yappy chook not know to cut the string off the tenderloin before she served it on Scary Island? I tuned in a couple times just to see why everyone was saying it was so bad. I never made it through an entire episode. She never shut up. Ever. I wonder if she and Ellen even speak to each other anymore.

Her hair suits her but she keeps pushing those centered parted, heavy 'wings' off her face this season and it's distracting. I wish she'd try a different style but it works for her and she knows it. Same for her make up. She knows how to do the no-makeup make up look very well. Whether she's dressed up or down, her make up pretty much stays the same. Natural and clean. For me, it doesn't even matter if the latest story about Bethenny getting rude with one of her fans is true or not. But it's believable for many because we saw with our own eyes what happened when that one fan approached her and fell down in Atlantic City. Bethenny said, "Clean up on aisle nine", snickered with her friend and kept right on walking. I think there's a mean spirit there that was evident way before she started getting press.

Yes! There's a show called 'Storage Wars' and this guy constantly drives up the bids against his frenemies. It's not even for charity, it's just to be a dick. And he revels in it. I understood asking Sonja. Even asking Russ. But the actions of booking an appointment and putting on sunglasses and a scarf to get the scoop from the facialist is a little weird, imo. But to me, it actually sounds more like a lie. Did she get the scoop from the facialist while wearing sunglasses and a scarf? Who gets a facial wearing sunglasses? Or, do we believe Satako didn't recognize Carol even after she took the sunglasses off? Because it sounds like even after their nice chat and Carole passing on that cautionary tale, Satako still thought Carole was a manicurist. Am I reading this right? Sounds fishy. The reporter in her might have kicked in, but it sounds like so did the fiction writer. Kind of a dumb story. Really??

Rhetorica: I know you know that the above pic was from Heather's instagram but you wrote Aviva. What an odd thing to say. When I post pictures of my kids birthday it's not about me. Even if I'm preeettty! I guess she was comped for the dress. That's the third time I've noticed Heather say something about how great she looks. Once when she was talking about how good her body is from working out (it was) and the other night when she was telling Luann that she thought her (her own) outfit was "cute, riiiiight???" while tilting her precious hat to a jaunty angle. Girl's not afraid to sing her own praises.

She was saying to whatzerface what we all wanted to say. I agree, though, that Cat was mostly unpleasant through the entire season. She might have gotten a good edit had they been brought back.

From the story about Cat Ommanney posted above: I've always suspected as much. They are such masters of manipulation, imo. It's shitty, for sure, but it fascinates me how they do it through this medium. They're pretty damn subtle at what they're doing. The first season I didn't even realize it was happening. I'm going to use Heather's image as an example because A.) I think she's next and B.) because she appears to be a fan favorite at the moment. Bravo is already letting little things slip into each episode, almost imperceptible things about Heather which are starting to turn the tide against her. Things, that once they REALLY get the hate ball rolling on her, many of her current fans will go, "Oh, yeah. Remember back in her second season when she xyz'd? It all makes sense now." Conversely, Taylor, Camille, Kelly - at one time or other were condemned as the most hated housewives ever. EVER. ever. But lately, I've seen their names tossed around as candidates to return to the Ho screen. Camille got a total turnaround edit which I'll never understand. I think she's heinous. Nicely dressed, but heinous. Brandi, who was adored by many when she first joined the cast, was the only Ho that ended up with a petition to try to get her fired. Adrienne - how did she go from the level headed one to another roundly hated Ho. Even the Countess. She's a fan favorite right now but not long ago she was the snotty Countless who was too priggish to swig a beer from a bottle. It's too soon to start my love letter to Aviva but stranger things have happened. Or should I say Bravo has MADE stranger things happen.

Lotusflower: I believe NYC will be back. Even though they took a LONG time to get this season together and it's still getting poor ratings, I agree with what someone said, upthread. RHONY is an easy franchise to do because that's where Bravo is located. It needs a major re-tooling without casting any more tools.

I thought she wrote that because she wanted people to live tweet with her rather than watch the episode later. She said that, but even if half the viewers were DVRing, that still leaves a whole lot of folks to live tweet with her. How many can one live tweet with at a time? Which also makes me wonder: Do the Hos get some kind of reward/kickback/whatev when they get people to follow them/tweet them on twitter? If so, that might be another reason to encourage tweets. Or it could be she wants to help ratings. Or, just like she says, she just likes to live tweet with 250,000 people at a time.

I thought it weird how Carole went to the masseuse, incognito, to get to the bottom of the rumor. Here is where Carole loses me: If she's so confident and secure, why does she let someone like Aviva get her so hepped up she gets grabby on a staircase and why does she care if Russ slept with Sonja 2 years ago? When she confronted Sonja she said it didn't happen. She called Russ and HE said it didn't happen. But even after both confirmations, she still dons a disguise to visit the masseuse to "get to the bottom of this rumor". Odd behavior, imo. ETA: This info is from Carole's blog this week.
