  1. "It's a girls' night so, they're not supposed to be good. They're supposed to be really, really bad in a controlled setting.” Can't remember shit but THAT I remember. I agree. Producers want a good, old fashioned, Montana brawl. Yee Ha! Only not.
  2. Either my memory is going or, like this season, I'm only 1/2 paying attention. I don't remember any conversations between Heather and Ramona. I remember Jack and Lu trying to trick Moaner. The only thing I can remember about Heather from that party is the pumpkin head grin and her shirt. It had something controversial? on it. But I can't remember. LOL I loved the first couple seasons of this franchise. Suntheen along the way made this stop being must-see TV for me. Makes me sad because since Tamra wrecked the OC, NYC was all I had left. Sniff.
  3. I'm pretty sure Montana and Connecticut are out of range to the Hamptons. When Kristen was packing and they're talking and even having a few laughs - even though he looked like he couldn't get out of there fast enough during her exaggerated Aviva diatribe - when he dropped the bomb that he was going out that night, my first thought was, yeah, he's cheating.
  4. Thanks, zoeysmom and RedheadZombie. That was it. I think they rubbed each other the wrong way right from the git because they're both alpha overtalkers. To be fair though, if you watch the scene where Heather and Carole are packing for Montana, the overtalking from both of them was hilarious. It's like the producers said, "You have 2 mins. 13 secs. for your scene. GO!" so both of them raced to get in as much chatter as they could.
  5. LOL, Soulaki. Much less a camera crew. I've lost count of how many bikini waxes we've been treated to. Kyle did it, first, right? Would someone, please, refresh my memory on what caused the feud between Ramona and Heather last season? All I can remember is Heather following Ramona around a party but can't remember what they were fighting about.
  6. Yikes. Do you think her talk show had any impact on sales tanking like that? I wish they'd break it down by month. That would give an indication. Wow. That's dismal. ETA I agree with this. In addition, a good entrepreneur will also learn from mistakes. I think the divorce and talk show were too much negative press for her brand. It was a perfect storm of bad timing. Is it possible to have a successful brand and be such a polarizing figure? She might have to choose between celebrity and her goods. If I could make the kind of money she's made through product, I'd fade into the background, raise my child and roll around in my piles and piles of cash.
  7. I can't put my finger on why I dislike her so much. Like you, I ought to like her but I don't. It's like, why, when she announces that she's a tomboy for the nth time, (Did you know she is one?) does that annoy me so? LOL Or, I know that the Housewives use their blogs to promote their products but it's usually at the end and in a very clear, 'I'm done writing in my blog, now I'm going to promote my product" kind of way. Or they just list the website at the end. Cool. But she manages to somehow weave it into the story . And in the first couple of paragraphs. This week's blog was especially self promoting, bless her heart. Annoying. But I just can't quit her. From the first paragraph:
  8. Exactly it. I blame my own cynicism when, never fail, I end up disliking each and every Housewife. That may be part of it, but I think you're right about them learning the game and becoming fake. I'll have to watch for a LoL marathon. I enjoyed the clothes and activities. The sniping wasn't quite as loud and I like that. I don't know any of their names, yet, except Caprice but they all seemed to have a decent story line.
  9. That's probably it. Though I'm trying to avoid any more Bravo shows, I did catch an epi or two of LoL and I LOL'd at Caprice's Here Today, Gone Tomorrow British accent. I wonder why Bethenny didn't clarify to her fan that she wasn't dissing Rachel. Or maybe she did. I'm not great at following twitter conversations so she might have.
  10. I can't be the only unfortunate one that saw Sonja's pixelated nether region while they were having cocktails upon first arriving at the ranch was I? I think she took "Paws Up" literally. Her legs weren't quite up in the air but whatever was under, or not under her skirt, got pixelated. Again.
  11. All's been quiet on the Bethenny/Jason front so I stalked her twitter page to see what's been up. Nothing regarding Jason but this was there, in bold letters, wedged in between much promotion of SkinnyGirl products and out of the blue: One of her fans said it sounded like she was taking a jab at Rachel Zoe. Is she trying to re-kindle the nasty twitter war she had with RZ back in 2009? I never heard of it before, does anyone remember what sparked it? http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/gossip/real-housewives-new-york-city-star-bethenny-frankel-slams-rachel-zoe-article-1.380957 To answer her question: Almost annoying as when anyone, non Brit or otherwise, drops the "d" in "Oh no, she didn't" and repeats it like it's 1999.
  12. I don't know if it will be sealed though. She'll want to be able to switch the flask out to suit her wardrobe or the occasion. And those flasks will have to be plexiglass so if it ends up tossed on the floor at a party, she can't cry over spilled kidney. The only reason why I'm hanging out for this end of this miserable season is to see why her prosthesis ends up in a corner. Bravo better not disappoint.
  13. I think you hit the nail on the jug head that is Josh. I suppose he could, in his off Bravo filming hours, be a doting dad but I haven't seen it yet. Even if he isn't that involved - many men aren't/weren't, especially in 1955, but he's just so damned vocal about how he doesn't have the time or the desire to spend any time with his kids. It's so awful. That said, Kristen doesn't help the situation by constantly nagging. She married it and reproduced with it. Pull up your Raising the Kids by Yourself panties and deal.
  14. That ought to be interesting. Not the show but to see how it stacks up in ratings against RHONYC. If anyone catches me in the "Botched" forum, remind me my house is a pit and I'm several bikini waxes behind schedule. Motorcitymom: Looks like your area got hit pretty good by the storm today. We lost power for about 30 minutes and 2 small trees down. Another round coming after midnight.
  15. I don't know 'bout you, shoegal, but would you have ever thought we'd be researching Missoula Intl Airport today? My apologies. Upon a closer look at the website, it appears you are correct.
  16. I look at it as me not so much defending 'Aviva the Ever Repugnant' as calling out 'Heather the High and Mighty'. It helps me sleep better at night. I hope you're not willing to bet the (dude) ranch because it actually has ten. I know! Color me surprised, too! And my fault if I implied it was as large as a Heathrow or JFK. When I see 'International Airport' tacked on to an airport, I naturally think of a place that can handle large jets from faraway lands. So - large. Moving on.
  17. Comparing Aviva exiting a small plane directly onto the tarmac into a waiting car to walking through the Missoula International Airport, is like: comparing walking directly onto the tarmac into a waiting car and walking through the Missoula International Airport. Apples to spaceships, imo. None of us really care if she requires a wheelchair or not. I just think it's telling that brain trust Heather hadn't an inkling that a wheelchair at a large airport might be helpful for an amputee. They're not just for old people or the overweight. Some of them even have oxygen tank holders on them - maybe for asthmatics? Sonja is nuts to piss off Lulu. She appears to be the only rational friend she has. And from the looks of the previews, Lu looks pissed.
  18. Every last one of the Hos has shown their seething bitch sides. The two times that Kristen has shown hers, (and there may be more but I'm only 1/2 in this season) she was imitating someone else's poor behavior. When she came downstairs after dealing with Sonja at Saratoga, Lulu hands her a glass of wine and Kristen proceeds to dramatically imitate what Sonja just said. I think Kristen is beautiful and we joke about her 'O' face but that was the first time I saw her Ugly face. It was much, much worse, imo than when Bethenny imitated Jill. Then, this epi, in the bedroom while packing, describing her conversation with Aviva to Josh, the same venomous, twisted mouth, exaggerated imitation of what Aviva said. She might be preetttty on the outside but there's some uggggleee on the inside. Couple that with her BFF status with Brandi and I think she has the capacity to be an awesome villain.
  19. Yes she did and it surprised me in it's insensitivity in that her son has special needs and her friend, Kristin, had a little girl that she was worried wasn't walking yet. LOL. I've wanted to stick out a thumb and hitch a ride on a trolley a few times myself. And I've done Mud Runs. Suck it, Heather. As for Aviva walking in the city? With her money, I doubt she walks very far if she doesn't want to. Private, air conditioned cars all the way, baby. /Heather Besides, all those bus fumes would be horrible for her asthma.
  20. I agree. Everyone dislikes Aviva and adores Heather so what Heather says about anyone at this point is not given a second thought. But when the tides turn against Heather, those women and some of her fans, will start looking at the stuff she says and suddenly see the know-it-all that she thinks she is. I can see Ramona turning on her first. Or has she already? I'm not following closely and missed many of the early episodes.
  21. I think when the trip was planned, Aviva was expected to go. Tickets were purchased, the wheelchair was requested (because she's an amputee, Heather) and at the last minute, Aviva backed out for whatever reason. That could also explain why she had a note in her purse. To get out of a airline ticket, you need a note from a doctor for an illness or injury or death. ETA: or maybe, if what everyone says is true that Bravo requires them to go on these trips - even though Andy said that's not true - THEY wanted the note. Maybe that was the bone of contention that fueled the rumors that she had been fired.
  22. Andy said that wasn't true. And I would think he, being Beth's BFF, would excuse her in light of a high risk pregnancy, death in the family, etc. The only period we can be sure of on that trip is that Bethenny wasn't having one. We didn't see it all so it doesn't matter what either of us believe or not, I suppose.
  23. That's not what she said. She said, "It's bad enough that Aviva backed out on the trip, but she still manages to be dramatic even when she's not here. Why the HELL would she need a wheelchair?" Because she's an amputee, you silly horse's ass. LOL. I just can't with Heather. I know that is a wildly unpopular opinion but there it is. Karma's gonna be comin' round the mountain for that one.
  24. The bolded is just one more reason, Beth should have stayed home. She'd been on bed rest for her high-risk pregnancy. She left NYC highly distraught to be with her dad, she flew to L.A, dealt with his death and then chose to fly directly to St. John's. All the while stressed about her pregnancy, work, daddy baggage, wedding planning and who else knows what goes on in her manic brain. If she wanted a calm, relaxing trip, she should have flown ANYWHERE that didn't include Kelly whom she KNOWS is cuckoo and who we've seen her go round and round with many times. There's no way in hell I would have risked my health and the health of my baby to be around someone I already knows pushes my buttons. Especially if I'd just had the week Bethenny had.
