I just got into MAFS Australia for the first time. I have watched all the MAFS USA versions. My question is that if I wonder if Australians think Americans on our MAFS look as weird as I think they do?! WTHeck is it with the huge inflated lips, and way overdone makeup? He just came down and profusely apologized, so I guess I'll let him live...for now.😁 It only took almost two whole days of the silent treatment before he cracked. He even asked me if I accepted his apology. (guess he could tell how pissed I was.) I just got rid of most of mine, because I realized I'm too lazy to even stick them in a player anymore. It's been years since I last watched anything that I had to more than push a button on a remote to watch. (reminds me of George Jetson, who was worn out after just pushing a button for his job all day.) That's me..I'm a George now.😂 And the only ones any of my grown kids even wanted were ones they could play in their car's players when they were taking a long ride. Because now they only want to push a button on a remote too. I remember being so excited back on the day when I could finally afford a VCR. I just thought that was the be all and end all...the best invention ever...to be able to watch a movie of my choice in my home. Now I don't even own one videotape. I did keep the DVD movie that Lin-Manuel was in that I bought for $50(!) years ago: 200 Cartas (200 letters) You can get it for $20 now, but back then, it was rare. (My husband and family all know that Lin is my make believe boyfriend)😍😂 OH! and regarding icicles..I vividly remember my dad teachng us that "yes, icicles are pretty to look at, but a well insulated house should not have them...or at least not big ones..where the big ones form is because right above them is where your heat is escaping for lack of proper insuation." Oops..I went from very crabby to very blabby..so sorry. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I already had the first shot on Monday...or maybe it was Tuesday, every day feels like the same day now. Our doctor's office had sent me a link to get an appointment...but his never came (we even have the same doctor.) When I got mine, I asked why he hasn't gotten an invite since he's 5 years older than me, (and hispanic on top of it.) They just said it was a random computer pick, and that he might get picked in the next few weeks. But they said it might take another month, so I've been trolling sites to get him one sooner. ( my 3 my daughters have all been trying to get him one too, they know he's depressing me.) And I'm not doing it for him..I'm doing it for ME..so he can finally get out a little and stop bitching at me for every little thing..all the f'ing time. He's usually not such a creep (since he stopped drinking years ago) but man oh man did this give me bad flashbacks. And it just came out of the blue..he hasn't acted like THAT in ages. That's why it was so incredibly hurtful , and I still want to kick his wrinkly little old man's ass even hours later.😡 (I'm giving him the old silent treatment, instead..he hates that.)😁 Because he is cheap as heck and whined " it's going to use so much gas to get there" and then " and I'll have to go out there again for the second shot!" and then he whined "AND WHAT ABOUT THE TOLLS??!!" (Funny thing is that..the transponder is set to get paid from my debit card, and he has never offered me a penny towards it.) FTR, He has more than enough money , he's not broke in the least. We're not rich but we can afford THIS, for Pete's sake.🙄 Thanks to everyone who volunteered to kick him in the nuts for me, btw😂

Ok.. I need to vent. I really want to go kick my husband RIGHT IN THE NUTS right now. I finally got him an appointment to get the vaccine..something he's been hounding me to get for him for weeks. He was SO nasty to me when told him I actually got him an appointment....and all because he's mad that it is 52 minutes from our house..big whoop. Everything else was many, many hours away. I did the best I could! And It's straight down the tollway near our house, and I told him *I'd* drive him there... but noooooo..he still went on and on and on and ON..until I finally just walked away from him, and shut myself up in our spare room.(and it felt damn good to slam and lock the door, too) Crabby old COOT. What a let-down...he has no f'ing IDEA how HARD I've been trying to get him an appointment in the past few weeks. 😭 Hours and hours and HOURS on the computer and phone, hunting the ever so elusive appointment.( and all while I myself have been down in the dumps, big time.) I feel like crying out of frustration, but I'll be danged if I'll let him know he upset me. 😡 W H A T A W A N K E R 😡 (sorry for the rant..it's either this or go and poison him or something)😳

I can't wait until I show my husband all the stations I found near the little town where he grew up in Puerto Rico.😊 We live in Chicagoland, where most of the Spanish radio stations are more Mexican American flavored. Not the same music at all! He's going to love this.
