  1. I had to BEG to get an Rx for the pain pills I got. I mean B E G...debase myself, cry my heart out in the doctor's office in front of everybody..so..probably not. 😢
  2. {{{{{{{{ big hugs}}}}}}}} {{{{{{{Hugs for you too}}}}}}}} It's early, but...
  3. I'm up at almost 4am because I have an eye infection that won't go away, and hurts like heck every time I blink. My Ophthalmologist put a "bandage contact lense" on it on Friday, but I can still hardly see, and I'm taking pain pills that don't seem to do anything but constipate me.😡 (tmi?😁) The worst part is the sensitivity to light , I've had all my blinds and curtains shut tight for days..it's depressing af. Pity, party of one, please.🙄
  4. Happy Birthday!! (you're still just a baby compared to a lot of us)😁
  5. Nah..not acceptable. Vent away! (so we all can too).💕
  6. Eating yummy beefsteak tomatoes from my garden.
  7. Oh, I know! I couldn't do ANY of the religion part of it..I just would have liked the free babysitting, only having to have to cook once every few days, and I could have used a break from my horn dog husband (back in the day.) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (But in reality,I wouldn't want to share my husband) 😁
  8. Ditto that! I hope we don't get judged by the shows we watch/follow/comment on..mine are an eclectic lot depending on my mood/snark level. I watch everything from programs like The View , Duggars, 90 Day Fiancee, The Crown, The Tiger King, Below Deck, 20/20.. Even the most light-hearted Hallmark channel movies when I need a break from the real world....kwim? Ps one of my daughters thinks I'm just AWFUL because I like to watch Sister Wives..I find them oh so fascinating and oh so snarkable!😂 I tried to tell her once that I kind of liked the idea of sister wives and she about had a heart attack! (yep, I was dead serious, so sue me) 😁
  9. Just a day or so ago. I didn't read it, because spoilers, but I wanted to get back to it when I finish the series.
  10. Yes! That's what I found, and thought I saved, and now can't find again. Ugh.
  11. Well...I could have sworn I found (and saved) the Lark Rise To Candleford forum, but now I can't find hide nor hair of it! Help!😭 😂
  12. Does anyone else get SEVERELY(lol) disappointed to find a new series to get hooked on, and find just a teensy, dead forum for it here?😕 I've even tried to get my daughters and granddaughters hooked on it,(to have someone to talk to about it) and no luck. Yes, I'm being sexist, but it's really romantic/comedy type stuff...set in old time rural England. I know my sons, grandsons, and husband wouldn't watch this series if I paid them them a million dollars😂 Ps it's Lark Rise To Candleford (on HULU) if anyone else wants something light to watch. Very Hallmark-like, if that appeals to you. 😊
  13. Yes..I never thought there would be a worse year than 2001. (2020 begs to differ)😢 If you get a chance to watch 9/11: Where Were You? On Nat Geo, I highly recommend it. It's giving me chills. Just how a split second decision or change of plan saved people's lives 19 years ago. Bringing all those feelings from 19 years ago back.
  14. I watched that whole video, and I really came away liking both Joy and Austin. (it's hard for me to get past their hurtful to others beliefs, though.)
  15. I woke up determined to get someone (anyone!) in my family to bike ride to my neighborhood park with me. My husband won't ride the "adult tricycle" I bought for him years ago (he's embarrassed) even though that's what I cheerfully ride, and I'm five years younger than him (I can't balance on a regular bike anymore, and he never learned to ride a regular bike as a kid.) I haven't ridden ONCE this year. So..anyway. I sent an invite to my Illinois family, saying I was going to go biking at 2pm and would someone (anyone!) PLEASE join me..that I miss everyone SO much!! 😭 Almost everybody that lives in Illinois came! I was SO happy! My son and his wife, my 2 daughters, 3 of my granddaughters, and my 2 grandsons. 😊😊😊 And when we got home from the bike ride, my husband had BBQed food for everyone (even remembered veggie burgers for our vegetarian granddaughter.) We all wore masks and socially distanced. It was great, but now I'm very, very tired. I'm out practice talking to so many people at once! OH! And got the best news..my 4 German grands are also going to be doing virtual school for the first semester..."just to be safe" (so now ALL my grands are)💗 Hope you are all safe and well. Ps..I should give credit to my shrink for realizing I needed my Prozac dose adjusted. I feel so much better since he upped it recently. I wasn't going to mention it, but you know what? I want people to know that sometimes meds do help. 😊
  16. That's EVERY person I personally know from Puerto Rican or Mexican families. They're not childless, but not one family had more than 3, most had only 2. And they all came from HUGE families. My husband is one of 14, and none of his siblings have more than 3. We have the "big" family of five. Amazing what birth control can do. 😁 (kind of sad to go to Puerto Rico and not see ANY little kids around my husband's farm though)
  17. Been there..felt that! UGH to all bugs!
  18. I really want long curly hair glasses guy to scrub the bottom of his feet before he gets into bed. (I don't remember names too well.)
  19. It grosses me out SO much to see people brushing their teeth! (just me?)😜
