    X-Men'97

Even if Rogue is supposedly in her twenties during their affair (which is questionable, wasn't she a teenager when Mystique took her in? I thought that was confirmed on the old series), he's at least what, 25 years older than her?
  2. I have an unfortunate feeling I'm not going to remember anything past the first three seasons of this show, even though I watched all of it. The rest is already becoming mush in my mind. It all just bleeds together.

Why did they change the character order for the opening credits? But only the first few. Magneto is first in the second episode, then Scott, Jean, Storm and Wolverine. They pushed Wolverine down to fourth billing? And Morph comes before Rogue? That was interesting to me.
  4. I was hoping for more, tbh. This was the real test of the theory that it's the movies themselves. If they can't do better than this with Barbie and Oppenheimer nominated then it won't ever happen again.

I was never interested in them in the original show at all. I never liked Gambit. Sorry.
  6. Does anyone know the airdates for the rest of the season?
  7. I have to admit, I'm in love with Sam Reid and I think he's fantastic as Lestat, so if it's gonna be a while before he gets back I may have to fast forward some scenes. If I remember correctly, if this season is just the second half of Book 1, he probably wouldn't be in it that much. However, if they ever do get around to The Vampire Lestat, than he should be taking center stage again. Although I do wonder how they will change it, because he kinda becomes the main character of the series after Book 1, and Louis is relegated to very supporting status, almost a background character at times. Doesn't seem like this show would want to go that route, but they'd have to change quite a lot if they don't.
  8. I found this to be a pretty depressing ending. I feel like they really dropped the ball on the Larry/Rita friendship the last couple seasons. Ever since they tossed Rita into the past and gave her a new life, it's like her relationship with Rouge was the most important thing on the show to her character and I just don't care. I also don't care about her and Malcolm who we barely knew. I wanted to see more of the foursome together and the two best friend pairings within that. We got plenty of Cliff and Jane at least, but I feel like Rita's character was thrown under the bus and I don't know why.
  9. Are they really going to have Harley kill Nightwing? I think time is going to be rewound or something
  10. Just got around to watching the extended edition. I think what bugs me most about this finale is that other than Archie's poem and the "quad," which I'm completely convinced happened because they felt they had to nod to Betty and Jughead one last time, this was entirely a finale for the 50's characters we've been with this season. It really had nothing to do with anything that happened in the six seasons previous. None of them acted like they knew anything about their old selves at all. Also it was weird the way Betty kept asking what happened to people as if she didn't know.
  11. I'm not liking this season as much as previous ones, tbh. I think there's not enough non-Harley and Ivy characters this year.
  12. Adding Jughead into the mix was a cop out tbh. It was only to satisfy the original Bughead shippers, of which I’m not convinced RAS ever was one. B/A/V would be a twist on the original comics I guess. Maybe that’s what he wanted to do really. But the V/J thing didn’t work at all and I’m not convinced anyone ever wanted or asked for it. Like I said earlier Veronica and Reggie would have made more sense here and why would they have no desire to go back to each other as well?
  13. Steve is too forgiving. I wish they would have him realize it's not his fault because Miranda has apparently always wanted to be with women and didn't realize it. If they're going to say she's now a lesbian, this is what they have to go with, even if it's a complete retcon of her entire adult life.
  14. The quad thing gets the show out of having to make a decision, not Betty. And no one wanted or ever asked for Veronica and Jughead, so if she was going back and forth between boys it really should have been Archie and Reggie, her two main love interests throughout the series.
  15. Well that was weird. I don't even think this makes sense really. Do they actually remember or they're just being told what they were on TV? Aside from Jughead, everyone's reactions to watching the tv didn't make it seem like they actually remembered any of it.
  16. I have to laugh at this very quick 180 degree turn. Again, the only reason potentially going back to Betty and Jughead in the LAST EPISODE after three seasons of nothing would fly at all is because they were such a huge part of the first four seasons. But Archie and Veronica now too? Eh...I don't know. I mean, I guess. Veronica has always had an aching for him on and off but when was the last time he was really into her? Seems like forever ago. He liked her for about two seconds at the start of this season but moved on real quick. It would suck to be stuck in the 50's and conscious of it.
  17. I kind of agree. His look of stunned revelation or whatever it was supposed to be didn't feel right, given how many people I know he's killed. I suppose it's possible he always thought it was justified or self-defense, but I know for sure he tricked multiple people into that scenario so that he could get away with killing them. It happened on Justified all the time. That is a very slippery slope already and I would think he would be already thinking about how he can get Mansell into that situation.
  18. I feel like there's someone in the writer's room who's absolutely insistent that Jughead and Veronica make a good couple and just had to have a few more episodes of it before the end.
  19. I don't think they do the plot with John and Hal, but they HAVE to do the Claire/John marriage and affair, right? That's basically the one thing I really remember from this book! I forgot it didn't happen until closer to the end. I have to admit, I don't remember a lot of the war stuff. Watching it on the show, I've been like, when was all this? I remember Jamie and Claire spending a significant amount of time on a ship though- was that when they went back to Scotland?
  20. I don't understand why they went back to Jughead and Veronica, esp now as everyone's going to be getting memories restored. I mean, what was the point of that? Bizarre. It's one thing to mix and match random pairs at the beginning of the season, but going back to these two? After that? God, why?
  21. Clark and Lois are so adorable on this show. I think this is the first time since Lois & Clark that a Superman series has revolved mainly around their romance, and I love it!
  22. Ok, so Jughead's going to get his memory back next episode, the rest of them in the finale I guess. So I'm guessing we're getting a flashback to them as 50's teens, but with memories restored of the past 6 seasons. I don't know what real purpose this serves anymore. Especially because they've done such different things with each season since Season 5 especially. I mean, as just one example, will Toni remembering that she married and had a kid with Fangs change anything with her and Cheryl, because it sure seems like it should! Season 6 Toni loved Fangs and seemed to be completely over Cheryl- if she remembers that it ought to mean something. I would think. I don't know- I think I prefer my original idea that they cast a wide net and explore alternate endings in different Archie "universes," so that everyone can get their own pick and choose ending somewhat. I still don't see how doing this is going to satisfy anyone because there's not enough time to do anything with it. So they're all going to remember in one episode that they were superpowered beings? So what? I think I would prefer that they NOT remember that, tbh.
  23. I thought it was inappropriate for Kathy to tell Carrie not to hurt Aiden, and to tell her not to write about her kids. Carrie and Aiden are none of her business.
  24. Is it weird that Charlotte is this okay with Lily sleeping with multiple boys already? This casually? I don't know, I feel like she ought to have given at least a little more guidance about it, she's only 16, right?
  25. Wow. That is one deeply insecure, pathetic man. What a baby. Also I love how he cites the word of a woman way too young for him, telling him what he wants to hear, as if that’s not proving the movie’s point, LMFAO
