  1. Official promo pictures for 6x05 "Deathstroke Returns" The B-plot of the episode seems to have a big Dinah/Vigilante focus. I'll be shocked if he turns out to be anyone other than her ex-boyfriend Vinnie.
  2. It's shocking that people actually get paid to write idiotic dialogue like this. Nobody talks like that in real life.
  3. Lexa was great, but I still don't get what they brought Talia on for. The character served no purpose and was a waste of everyone's time.
  4. In season 2, people were blaming Laurel, Sara and Oliver/Sara for the dips in ratings. In seasons 3 and 4, Laurel was the go-to target when it came to ratings declines. Now, it's Dinah. Doesn't the blame game get old after a while?
  5. It will be a race between Arrow and LOT for the first 0,4 amongst the Flarrowverse shows.
  6. Arrow has been recycling the same plots since I can remember. The writers got away with it early on because there weren't many superhero shows to choose from and the series was too new for people to pick up on the repetitiveness of the storytelling, but it's really catching up with them big time now. I also think the writers have proven to be completely oblivious to their own failures. Just look at the "shocking" cliffhanger endings of the first 2 episodes: Not only did those things (Oliver getting exposed and stepping down as the GA) happen several times before, but they also always fizzled out with no consequences in later episodes. These cheap twists simply aren't cutting it anymore because the viewership has learnt by now that this show is too gutless to make them stick. If anything, it may elicit some groans and yawns before viewers ultimately decide to delete Arrow from their DVRs and move on to better written tv shows of which there are plenty to choose from.
  7. Aisha as in Aisha Tyler? Yeah, and it's not even close. She's had prominent recurring roles on shows like Friends and 24 and been a series regular on Criminal Minds and Ghost Whisperer. Not to mention her gig as a CBS talkshow host.
  8. Honestly? I think it's mainly rooted in paranoia because this show has a history of tossing out it's own canon in favour of actor chemistry and I think even the biggest Dinah haters around have got to admit that David and Juliana have it in spades. Me? I'm enjoying the Dinah/Diggle interaction. They have the dynamic and chemistry that Oliver and Laurel should have had, but didn't. Is it earned? Not really, but I'm able to roll with it because most characters on Arrow haven't really earned sht since season 3, anyway. The writers have simply become too lazy to write proper storyarcs, so they just fast-track character and relationship development as they see fit.
  9. In the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal, this interview is a hella interesting watch and sheds a light on how fcked up the entire entertainment industry really is:
  10. I haven't checked her Instagram in quite a while, but is JH completely brunette now? Don't get me wrong, I am glad that she came to her senses and ditched the blonde hair pretty quickly, but at this point, Dinah really needs a wig. Any halfway decent cop should be able to tell that she's the Black Canary just by tracing her ever-changing hairstyles. Maybe because she knows how loaded the fandom is? People have to use their real names on Facebook, right? Maybe she figures users would be less inclined to post hateful messages on that platform.
  11. Most people think/fear it will be Diggle although Wendy ruled him out months ago.
  12. He should, but question is, is he willing to do press interviews? This is starting to remind me of season 5 when JH and Lexa Doig were seemingly the only ones doing interviews although neither actor had a storyline and Lexa wasn't even a prominent recurring guest star.
  13. Wait, that ending scene with Diggle and Oliver was supposed to be one of the most shocking cliffhangers of all time? Damn, I'm really starting to think some of these critics are bought.
  14. Yeah, that would have been better but IMO another reason why this "storyline" isn't working is that Dinah's already in full-blown Black Canary mode. When KC was made a series regular, I really thought Black Siren was supposed to be the physical embodiement of Laurel's shadow that Dinah's trying to overcome as she's slowly settling into the Black Canary role. IMO, a setup like this could have worked really well because it would have allowed us to see a more vulnerable side to the Dinah character, but now that the writers have conveniently moved her entire development off-screen, I really don't see how this storyline is going to develop her in any meaningful way.
  15. Well, just about every time Dinah has had a more personal conversation with someone on the team, it has been with Diggle. So looking at it from a character perspective, I can see why Dinah would probably think of him as her best friend. Family is too strong of a word to use, though.
  16. Well, we don't know when the interview was conducted, so I wouldn't rule out the identity reveal for episode 5 just yet.
  17. Looks like Zari will be involved in the crossover, too:
  18. You can bet on it!
  19. PB is the best actor on the show, but Quentin should have died in season 4. The writers have been stuck on the repeat button with regards to his character since practically the first season. When I saw that shot of him at the bar, all I could do was roll my eyes and it all spiralled from there.
  20. It's obvious that the CW played a big part in KC's return, Most likely, they were hoping to get some of the lost viewers back by adding her back to the main cast, but I could have told them beforehand that that wasn't going to work.
  21. Seeing the amounts of people who are getting flirty vibes off of Dinah when that's not really the intended goal, I'm actually kind of curious what she's going to look like when she's really going for it. That could be an interesting or somewhat scary experience. LOL
  22. Baseball has never had much of an effect on Arrow's ratings outside of the World Series.
  23. Wow, impressive ratings for Supernatural in it's 13th season! Arrow's demo ratings were on par with the season 5 finale, but down in viewers, I think. As for Supergirl, I suspect it's ratings might have taken a hit because many people in Chicago probably opted to watch MNF instead. It was Mitch Trubisky's first start as Chicago Bears' quarterback.
  24. Well, DR and JH have great on-screen chemistry. It makes sense that the producers would try to write more scenes for the two of them. But yeah, I think it's about time that Diggle and Felicity get to have some one-on-one conversations again and it would also be nice if the producers would finally give us a clue about
  25. Don't expect any rational arguements from them. They want BS to be redeemed because she has KC's face. That's all there is to it.
