  1. With Vigilante's past as a former undercover cop, it would make more sense for him to be a double agent, who's trying to take down the group from within.
  2. Richard Dragon has been written and acted like a dimwitted drug addict so far, but maybe it was done on purpose to make it all the more shocking when he kills Cayden and takes control of the villain team? Or maybe we're finally going to get a female Big Bad in Black Siren? That would certainly be a lot more surprising than a predictable redemption arc and at least in her case, I could buy it if she were to kill Cayden considering that she's a meta with superpowers.
  3. Yeah, I can't wait to see Flash's ratings when it returns after the Christmas break. Will the show be able to rebound or is 1.4 the new normal?
  4. Live+7 numbers for the last 2 Arrow episodes: 6x08: 1.7 in A18-49 and 4.412 million total viewers. 6x09: 0.8 in A18-49 and 2.121 million total viewers. 5. I have found a a new interview with Michael Emerson. I'm just copy-pasting the Cayden James-related parts:
  6. Nope, when Oliver chose to leave Starling City with Felicity when Thea had just come back from the dead and he was aware that "resurrection via LP" comes with heavy side-effects. IMO, he should have stayed put and made sure she was okay. And wasn't 4x09 the gas chamber episode? Damian Dhark had abducted Felicity, Thea and Diggle and was about to kill them all, but with the way Oliver and the episode were written, it was as if only Felicity mattered. Thea and Diggle were total afterthoughts throughout - from Damian granting Oliver one final conversation with Felicity to Oliver carrying her out of the chamber bridal style.
  7. I agree. Thea's storylines were always half assed and more about the men in her life than Thea herself. And besides, do I have to remind people of the end of season 3 or episodes like 4x09 where Thea's relationship with Oliver was essentially ignored so that Olicity could take the spotlight? On these CW shows, romantic relationships always come before familial ones. That's simply the reality of the situation.
  8. TVSeriesFinale compares this year's ratings average of 0,51 to the total average of season 5, which was 0,62 whereas SpottedRatings compares the first 9 episodes of this year with the first 9 episodes of last year (0,736). IMO, the latter approach is more accurate because ratings tend to be lower in spring, weighing down the total average for the season.
  9. I've been going through the DVD and Blu-Ray sales charts at The-Numbers.com and I think it's true when people say that the rise of Netflix is hurting DVD sales of television series. The only shows left with good DVD/Blu-Ray sales are The Big Bang Theory, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Sherlock, Outlander and surprisingly, Longmire. As for the Flarrowverse shows, the only one that appears on any of the charts this year is Supergirl: Season 2 with 15,466 total units sold during opening week. For comparison's sake, season 1 of Supergirl still sold 41,706 total units it's first week of release. Season 3 of the Flash was made available the same week as Supernatural, but only Supernatural made the charts at #19 with 24,549 total units sold. The second season of The Flash still sold 44,766 units. Unfortunately, the website hasn't updated the weekly DVD and Blu-Ray charts since mid-September, but Arrow: Season 5 wasn't listed amongst the top 20 in DVD sales over at Variety.com for it's first or second week. Arrow: Season 4 still sold 27,480 units. LOT: Season 1 only sold 18,062 units during opening week. It's failure to chart should therefore surprise nobody.
  10. Live+7 ratings for episode 6x07: 0,8 in A18-49 and 2.165 million total viewers.
  11. Live+7 ratings for episode 6x06 have dropped to 2.203 million total viewers and what's more, Arrow has failed to reach the top 25 in A18-49 percentage gains for the first time this season. Supergirl, whose November 13 episode pulled a 0,5 in A18-49, on the other hand made it. Therefore, it stands to reason that Arrow's demo rating has reached a new series low of 0,8 for the time being.
  12. Live+7 ratings for episode 6x05: 0.9 in A18-49 and 2.374 million viewers.
  13. No, they leave because OTA spied on them. Didn't KC's head canon for BS include Quentin dying in a house fire when she was 13 years old or something along those lines?
  14. If I remember correctly, some people on here wanted to know the writing credits for each specfic crossover episode this year. According to CW New York, it breaks down as the following: Crisis on Earth-X, Part 1: Andrew Kreisberg, Marc Guggenheim, Robert Rovner, Jessica Queller (Director: Larry Teng) Crisis on Earth-X, Part2: Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg, Wendy Mericle, Ben Sokolowski (Director: James Bamford) Crisis on Earth-X, Part 3: Andrew Kreisberg, Marc Guggenheim, Todd Helbing (Director: Dermott Downs) The info for part 4 is missing, but I can check again a couple of days from now.
  15. Yeah, I'm curious if that was just a one-off or a permanent changing of the guard. Supergirl has been an interesting case in general, too. It's total viewership has grown every week since episode 2, but it just can't get over the hump in A18-49.
  16. I don't know if these spoilers for the Arrow part of the crossover are real, but I'm posting them just in case:
  17. Considering that Oliver is already back in the GA suit the same episode he gets arrested, I take it the whole FBI storyline will ultimately turn out to be another go-nowhere plotline with no real consequences to speak off.
  18. Live+7 ratings for episode 6x04: 0.9 in A18-49 and 2.228 million total viewers. I think this might be a new series low.
  19. LOL, this was supposed to be our introduction to the dangerous and formidable Richard Dragon? Geez, this dude came across like a dimwitted junkie to me. Ain't nothing threatening about him!
  20. Oliver, Felicity and Diggle will make out the top 3 when all is said and done. Dinah will probably come in fourth. Rene/Curtis is going to be a coin-toss, but I wouldn't be surprised if Curtis ultimately comes out on top because he's so deeply entwined with Felicity's storyline.
