  1. If Oliver is going to sport the Van Dyke next season, his secret identity would have to become public knowledge first, IMO. It's too striking of a look for the show to keep on pretending that nobody recognizes him.
  2. I didn't mean that BS and Dinah would work together. I meant that the writers could send both of them away on a bus and bring back Earth-1 Laurel instead, but I notice now that my original post sounds a bit misleading. Sorry about that!
  3. Well, maybe now that lazarus pits are back in play, they're going to send Dinah and BS on their way and resurrect Earth-1 Laurel? I know this sounds completely insane, but I wouldn't put anything past this fucked up show, lol.
  4. Me too. I've said it months ago, but BS killing Quentin would be the only satisfying payoff to the ridiculous BS redemption storyline that the writers have been shoving down our throats this season. It's not just that the writers have been repeating Quentin's stupid daughter drama ad nauseum since the pilot episode, but that they've also made him out to be completely delusional this year and that delusion has started to rub off on some of the other characters on the show, so as far as I am concerned, just rip off the bandaid and be done with it already!
  5. My guess is that Quentin dies and BS will be moved to Legends - either as a new recruit or yet another antagonist.
  6. I've been going through the photo-ops for HVFF Chicago and the only actors who seem to be very sought after are Stephen, Norman Reedus, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Steven Yeun, Jon Bernthal and some of the group photo ops like Boondock Saints and Glenn & Maggie. Some actors (EBR, Chandler Riggs and Lauren Cohan) are listed as limited, but there's actually tons available for all.
  7. It really sucks that Nielsen didn't release Live+7 ratings for weeks 21 and 22 because Legends of Tomorrow seems to have taken a huge tumble since the winter break and I would have liked to have known if the move to Mondays played a significant role in it or not. Anyways, here are the numbers for weeks 23 and 24: Live+7 ratings for week 23: Arrow (6x14): 0.8 in A18-49 and 2.132 million viewers The Flash (4x14): 1.5 in A18-49 and 3.982 million viewers Black Lightning (1x06): 1.0 in A18-49 and 2.803 million viewers Supernatural (13x14): A18-49 unknown and 2.590 million viewers Jane The Virgin (4x11): 0.5 in A18-49 and 1.215 million viewers IZombie (4x01): 0.6 in A18-49 and 1.656 million viewers Legends of Tomorrow (3x12): Both unknown, which means percentage gain in A18-49 has to be 80% or lower and 59% or lower in total viewership. Live+7 ratings for week 24: Arrow (6x15): A18-49 unknown and 2.155 million viewers. Shows needed a 78% increase in A18-49 to make the top 25, so Arrow must have dropped to a new series low of 0,7. The Flash (4x15): 1.5 in A18-49 and 3.869 million viewers Black Lightning (1x07): 0.9 in A18-49 and 2.481 million viewers Supernatural (13x15): 0.9 in A18-49 and 2.733 million viewers Jane The Virgin (4x12): 0.5 in A18-49 and 1.121 million viewers IZombie (4x02): 0.5 in A18-49 and 1.398 million viewers Legends of Tomorrow (3x13): A18-49 unknown (probably 0.7 like Arrow) and 2.049 million viewers (LOT's last tracked data point before this was 2.606 million viewers for episode 3x09)
  8. I don't understand why Paul Blackthorne hasn't pulled a Victor Garber and walked out on the show years ago. It's obvious the writers don't have anything but addiction and daughter drama to offer him and frankly, he can do a heck of a lot better than that.
  9. While I agree that nobody deserves to be called names on social media, I find it a bit hard to sympathize with Guggenheim because his writing decisions and social media conduct have greatly contributed to the fandom atmosphere we have today. Maybe if the female characters were actually allowed to coexist on his show, the Arrow fandom wouldn't have become such a hellhole.
  10. Looks like Hot Dog survives his life-threatening injuries. Quelle surprise! /s
  11. If 6x20 really has an NTA focus, it's probably the beginning of the OTA/NTA reunion. Or maybe one of the newbs (either Dinah or Rene) joins up with the villains.
  12. Meh, it's obvious that the show's on its last legs creatively. To me, the entire season feels like inconsequential filler. Even 6x18, which is an Oliver-heavy episode, seems to be taking a huge detour in the form of a hallucinatory/fantasy episode when the writers should actually be laying the groundwork for the final showdown in the season finale.
  13. I think this interview is new: ‘Arrow’s Rick Gonzalez Reveals Why You Should Love The War Between Team Arrow & The B-Team
  14. Yeah, I don't know why people are so defensive about the ratings. Only 1 show of the entire CW lineup (The Flash) is able to pull 2 million live viewers each week and that's honestly embarrassing for a network with as wide of a reach as the CW.
  15. Live+7 ratings for week 20: Arrow (6x13): 0.8 in A18-49 and 2.213 million viewers Supergirl (3x13): 1.0 in A18-49 and 3.222 million viewers The Flash (4x13): 1.7 in A18-49 and 4.284 million viewers Riverdale (2x13): 0.9 in A18-49 and 2.243 million viewers Black Lightning (1x04): 1.2 in A18-49 and 3.273 million viewers Supernatural (13x13): 1.0 in A18-49 and 2.887 million viewers Jane The Virgin (4x10): 0.6 in A18-49 and 1.394 million viewers
  16. The CW needs to look for other avenues to fill their schedule. Black Lightning is already down to 0,5's after what? 5 or 6 episodes? Audience saturation has set in, IMO.
  17. Nah. Arrow itself is barely getting above 1 million live viewers now. The time for spin-offs has long passed. The writers are just incompetent hacks. That's all.
  18. LOL, the people on Reddit are beyond deluded. They're still going to dream of a Lauriver endgame even after Oliver and Felicity have children of their own.
  19. Since when can you have sex when you are bleeding internally? You can't even do that if you have bruised ribs. The writers really aren't trying anymore.
  20. No offense, but he's only noticing it now? This has been one of Arrow's biggest problems since the start of season 3 if not longer.
  21. Juliana is a classic case of miscasting. She's completely out of her element in an action hero role. Not because of a lack of range, but because of a very superficial understanding/idea of what an action heroine has to look and act like. Like so many actresses before her, she has fallen into this trap where she's acting all tough and intense in any given scene - to the point where it has robbed her performance of any nuance or subtlety. And amazingly enough, her acting seems to be getting worse the longer she plays this character. Like, her portrayal of anger/rage in 6x14 was so bad, it was comical. The sad thing is, I know she can do better because I've seen it. I've seen her play angry in a movie before and it was completely natural and at a normal intensity level. It's just this particular character archetype that has her hamming it up to a ridiculous degree.
  22. Hm, I wonder if Arrow will drop below 1 million live viewers before the season's over.
  23. Really? Well, if that's the case and the writers are NOT planning to get rid of the newbies by season's end, then the entire writing staff needs to be fired immediately because they are beyond incompetent at their jobs.
