  1. Who doesn't love Mr. T? I agree that the Ericka's segment was kind of creepy.
  2. Who is to say that a famous name getting a break is undeserving? Seriously, are we now pretending that the Hadid name meant nothing in Gigi's child modeling days? That's like saying that Kyle got Halloween with no one having any idea who her mother or sister was. And, honestly, do we really believe that Bella didn't have the full push of Yolanda, Gigi, and Big Pappa Hadid? And even if we ignore their names/connections, and the plastic surgery, how do we explain Yo's son suddenly walking in shows around the globe, when both he and Bella are battling debilitating Lyme Disease? Gigi could have easily had a life of education and athletics, Yolanda didn't want that. Bella could have had a life of riding horses and going to college, but that was not Yo's plan. Yolanda, former model and ex-wife of a billionaire, made all of her children's careers possible. Everyone can easily say, "They were destined to model." But they couldn't have done it so quickly if Yo hadn't had connections in the industry; Mo hadn't been willing to pay for portfolios; and Yo hadn't made sure to surgically "correct" her child's features when necessary. So, why make Rinna out to be horrible about wanting to promote her daughters when the only real praise Yo gets (at least on these forums) is in the form of what magazines her kids are featured in and what shows they walked in? IMO, the kids have next to nothing to do with HOs and their behavior on the show. The kids benefiting from the show and/or their famous parents should be looked at as getting something out of the deal that will allow them to pay for their own therapy. I wish that every child of a HoWife under the age of 18 (when their respective appearances began) had a chance of a spinoff career (whether in modeling, singing, art, engineering, etc. it doesn't need to be filmed) from the humiliation of having to witness their parents' antics so they at least have way to get legitimate help to deal with the aftermath.
  3. What's funny is that the only people who suggested that it may have been intentional were her besties Eileen and Rinna. Again, I just really want someone to call out this hypocrisy at the reunion.
  4. Radaronline does tend to get a lot of things wrong because they use so much hyperbole.
  5. Tamra needs to apologize to that man and his significant other immediately. If she discussed it with Eddie, then he also needs to apologize to both of them. Sorry, I couldn't resist. I think what the BH Hos are missing is a Sonja ala New York. Sonja has flashed people tons of times and always accepted it as what happens when you don't wear underwear. If Ericka had been channeling Sonja, not only would she have laughed off the panties, she would have told Dorit exactly why she didn't give a fuck. ETA: I am remembering a particular moment when Kelly Bensimon was scandalized by Sonja being panty-less during a photo shoot. Even though Kelly had already done Playboy. OMG! How awesome would it have been if Dorit and Ericka had bonded over the situation and Dorit became Ericka's "snatch guard"? I mean, Dorit puts on just as many European airs about where she lived as Sonja's, while Ericka's rigid and guarded demeanor rivals early RHNY Luanne. It's like putting together a Vinn Diagram of Housewife traits and then taking the four with the most overlap and making a show out of it. I think I have something here. I mean, how often can there be two housewives on two different franchises that are called "Crazy Eyes" and have the name be valid in both cases? Damn, someone get me Andy's number.
  6. My hope for the reunion is that someone, anyone, will point out the fact that Eileen dogged Ericka the hardest about panty-gate. She was the one who mocked her, and out of all of the women, she was the one whose "joke" was the most offensive. And, yet not once during the airing of the show (at least in blogs or interviews) has Ericka acknowledged that. And, I don't want it to be an attack on Eileen, because I think she was just as much of the mindset that Ericka would totally be ok with her "jokes" about the panties as Dorit was. And, I think that it would be important for Ericka and Eileen to acknowledge that it happened and they either are or are not ok with each other because of it. Right now, they are putting together a united front - Ericka because she doesn't like Dorit and Eileen because she feels guilty that she also thought Ericka would take it in stride to the point that she made a really mean joke at Ericka's expense. And, that is fine. But, I think that the two women who are always the most quick to say everything is fine, only to blow up out of the blue after having said everything was fine, should tell the audience how they moved on from that.
  7. I didn't say you did post that. I was referencing Ericka co-signing a tweet from someone dogging Dorit for having nannies. And since the packing scene was less than 2 minutes, we have no idea what all was discussed about the kids.
  8. I think Ericka would have still resented Dorit. From the first second they met, Dorit and Ericka rubbed each other wrong. And they are both socially awkward people when it comes to reading the room. Ericka manages to hide it by using her "guarded" exterior and saying very little, while Dorit just keeps talking in circles until someone stops her, or she just winds down. I have been saying since this season started that Dorit and Ericka are a lot more alike than they seem to realize which is one of the reasons they can't seem to get along.
  9. I disagree. Her nannies are there to provide extra child care for her children. Something that I can't find any reason to begrudge any parent who can afford help. Ericka's glam squad is paid not just to dress her but also to continuously feed her ego about how fabulous she is. And they earn their paycheck. Again, not something I would begrudge anyone who could afford it. But, she has to realize that they wouldn't be fanboying all over her if she weren't their meal ticket. Dorit's nannies don't have to praise her personally, they have to make sure they are appropriately caring for her children to earn their paycheck. Look at the scene with Dorit and her stylist. Dorit was rambling on and the stylist could give a shit. Do you think Dorit would fire the stylist for that? Because I have sneaking suspicion that if any member of Ericka's glam squad didn't immediately get invested in whatever issue Ericka was going on about and telling her how she was wronged, they would not last long. Ericka isn't just paying these guys to style her she is also paying them to be a part of her entourage. Sorry for the rant but I really get irritated when people make decisions about someone's parenting because they can afford and choose to have paid help. And, I also thought it was really shitty of Ericka to co-sign a tweet from someone dogging Dorit for having nannies, when she left her son to be raised by his father.
  10. I think that Rinna and Eileen are so hard on Dorit on Ericka's behalf because they are trying to minimize their own behavior regarding panty-gate. Let's look back at the sequence of events. Ericka has an accidental flash. Based on the still shot of the scene, she could have been flashing anyone on the opposite side of her. I believe Kyle even said she was flashed but didn't realize that Ericka wasn't wearing panties until Ericka announced it to everyone. Now, both she and PK are sure of what they have seen. Now, if you look back at the blogs that were published immediately after the episode, Rinna and Eileen were trying to make it seem like this was some LisaV setup because Lisa asked Ericka if Kyle could borrow a pair of panties. So, their initial plan was going to claim LisaV manipulation. Then, they realized that their reactions (goading Dorit on wanting to be there etc.) were also going to make the show. I think the thing that had them really scared was that out of all of the women, they were the only ones to actually make fun of and mock Ericka. Eileen, ostensibly Ericka's closest friend/ally on the show went really low with her "I'm shy." joke and they knew they had to do everything they could to curry favor with her. So, after Ericka asks that everyone stop talking about it, they make the rounds bringing it up to try to nail Dorit for misreading how someone would take her "joke" so that there would be very little room for them to be called out. Even now, they are conveniently leaving out their behavior when rehashing the events in their blogs. As for Ericka, panty-gate hadn't been mentioned in months. She had already said that she and Dorit were fine and that she was over it. She had actually told Dorit this more than once. So, to blindside her during an argument about something totally unrelated - Dorit's attempts at trying to befriend her- with stuff that she said she was over, was really unnecessary. If she truly felt that Dorit intentionally tried to humiliate her and felt she was due an apology, that is something she should have taken up with Dorit before traveling to the other side of the globe with her.
  11. The Chinese government has been trying to stop the festival since it began a little over a decade ago. So, I think that bringing tourism dollars may actually have a positive effect on the government's work to end the festival. That revenue can be used to educate and can help bring an end to whatever need Yulin sees in the festival. At least that is my opinion.
  12. Very few people born and raised in Atlanta have a detectable southern accent. It's kind of like being born and raised in certain parts of Florida. Someone born and raised in Jacksonville or Pensacola may have a southern accent, but someone who was born and raised in Miami, or Daytona, not so much. Atlanta is the same way. Depending on where you were raised in relation to the perimeter, it's a crapshoot what type of accent you would have, if any.
  13. Aww. I thought this was a supportive moment between proud parents seeing their kids succeed. And the line about whatever people think of you was him saying it doesn't matter what other people think, IMO. Of course Rinna was extra, what mom wouldn't be? Rinna is extra as a hustle (it's what she does for a living). Why should Harry be penalized for loving and supporting his wife? Especially since Rinna is so loving and supportive of him?
  14. Didn't the Depends commercial also result in a large donation to a Lisa R charity of choice? I seem to remember that being another reason that Rinna was happy to do the commercial. I personally don't see anything wrong with her doing the commercial even if it didn't involve charity. She is an aging actress in a town that worships youth, she has to help pay the bills in some way.
  15. I still don't understand the mindset that there is some major beef between Erica and LVP. Erica has said multiple times that she and LVP are friends who are still getting to know each other. I know that it makes for high drama to have them be adversaries, but there is nothing to support that assumption. It seems like production and certain recappers want them to be at odds, but there is nothing in the footage to show that to be the case. Aside from Erica's "sniper from the side" and "spinning a web" comments last year, which LVP laughed off and dismissed, there was no issue between them. The only issue this year seems to be some drama about the color pink. But for some reason, I keep seeing all of these posts about them not being friends. According to Erica, they are friends. And while I personally find her boring, there is no reason for me to think Erica is lying about that. I mean LVP would come right out and say they have issues by now if that was really what was going on. It's as if everyone wants them to be mortal enemies when it is patently clear that they not only get each other but actually enjoy each other's company.
  16. I want to chime in on the Harry debate. I developed a crush on him when he was Perseus. I was too young to know I had a crush. I just assumed I would one day marry a beautiful man. I applauded People Magazine for naming him sexiest man alive when I was in middle school - I still have the cover in a scrapbook in the addict. Seeing him now with the salt and pepper? Damn he can get it any damn time. It has nothing to do with the show. He is the very first man I ever had a crush on and he just looks better with age to me. Damn, Harry. Always fine as hell. I apologize for objectifying Harry Hamlin's hot ass. But not really.
  17. I don't think that Ericka dislikes LVP. I think editing and some bloggers have tried to paint that there is an issue or dislike between them, but nothing they showed actually supports that stance. Ericka has said multiple times in interviews that she and LVP are still getting to know each other. And candid footage on BRAVO's site shows them actually enjoying each others company. I do think that Ericka is two faced though. I think that her "sniper from the side" comment was her being a good little soldier for Yolanda, but look at how LVP (someone people often accuse of holding grudges), brushed that off when Kathryn told her about it. She didn't let that one comment get in the way of getting to know Ericka, and even told the other women to stop joking about being a spider when she saw Ericka was getting upset about it. I think Ericka was mainly upset about Kathryn sharing that comment because she was actually getting to know LVP outside of Yolanda and worried that Kathryn had derailed that. But, it doesn't seem as though there is any dislike or animosity between the two women especially now that Yolanda is gone.
  18. For me, it doesn't matter that Phaedra said Porsha wanted to talk about it. The fact is that it is Porscha's therapy to discuss or not. If she wants to talk about it, it should be on her terms. How does Kenya know that Porsha didn't want to talk about it one on one with each of the women at times of her own choosing? If Kenya is afraid to go on a trip with Porsha, why not just say, "do you think we can get along on this trip with out getting physical?" Why ask someone who is clearly not your friend about something as personal as therapy in a whole group of women, when it wasn't even a part of the conversation to begin with? Better yet, why not say, "maybe we can hash out how we will deal with each other on the trip before we leave so there isn't any physical confrontation?" I don't think that verbal provocation should lead to violence. Which is why it was good to see that no matter how much Kenya tried to get just that type of reaction from Porsha, Porsha didn't give it to her. She walked away. When she was followed, she left. Maybe Porsha is in anger management, maybe she isn't. But she did prove that she can remove herself from a situation rather than resorting to violence and that is growth.
  19. I agree that Lisa V should have said that the questioning was inappropriate. And that shows the shortsightedness that she has when she feels she has been betrayed (I love Lisa, but I know she holds on to hurts and have never had a problem admitting that). But, it doesn't make her a bad friend for focusing on the things that RINNA said about Kyle and Kim. And that is what her blog seems to be about. She points out that RINNA said that Kim is an inch away from death, is not completely sober, and that Kyle is an enabler. And RINNA said all of that with no real insight into what Kyle's current relationship with Kim even is, and with no relationship with Kim at all. Look, I love me some Rinna (I know that is not a popular opinion), but she truly did wind Eden up so that she could sit back and watch Eden interrogate Kyle. It wasn't out of concern for Kim or Kyle that Rinna did it either. And I think that (along with getting some payback) is why LVP focused on Rinna and not Eden. Besides, at that point during filming, Eden was still an unknown. Kyle and LVP were still trying to feel Eden out to see what she was about. If Lisa filmed a scene where she learned of this conversation, she can't tell us in her blogs yet.
  20. I was talking about Lisa V calling her out in a blog. Lisa V at that point during filming didn't know Eden, and watching it after the fact all she would see is Rinna's priming the conversation by winding Eden up. Eden's interrogation was completely uncalled for and inappropriate - you won't get an argument from me about that. But, I think the reason that Lisa V called out Rinna specifically in her blog was because of how obvious Rinna was in sharing all of her personal feelings (disguised as concern) to Eden prior to Kyle's entrance. Rinna had a major hand in that ambush, and I thought it was appropriate for Lisa to call her on it - especially since Rinna is well aware of how Kyle feels about conversations about her sister. It was a shitty thing for her to do to someone she calls a friend.
  21. I think it is hard to call Eden out because she was so obviously set up by Rinna to be the interrogator. Look at the things that Rinna told Eden- Kim is mostly sober, Kim is close to death, Kyle is enabling Kim. These are all things that set off all kinds of warning bells to a recovering addict like Eden. So, while her questioning was inappropriate because she doesn't know the Richards sisters, it was also obviously at Rinna's prodding that it was happening at all.
  22. She wasn't a contemporary of Kim's. She says her sister was, but Eden was way too young to be a part of that circle of folks. Her link to the Richards is extremely tenuous, as it is likely that Eden never actually met Kim when Kim was hanging with Eden's sister.
  23. I don't know. Based on this still photo of their seating: http://forums.previously.tv/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=http://i67.tinypic.com/2lw0m11.jpg&key=ba940794975cfb43733eb27313cb041773cb99840a71cf9e26ead7b4535759fd It seems all he would have had to do was lean back in his chair. He wouldn't need to crane his neck at all, just sit back in the chair and he would see something. I think he most likely didn't realize what he saw until Erika announced that she wasn't wearing underwear. But it wouldn't have taken any effort at all for him to see it.
  24. There is something very troubling about this whole pantygate thing. I think that the reason that Eileen and Rinna are suddenly really going at Dorit for buying Erika the panties is because they know that they joined in the mocking and the encouraging of the gag gift. Now, they have remorse for it, but I can't tell if it is remorse because they didn't realize it would hurt or "blindside" Erika, or if it is remorse, because they can't undo their part in it. The fact of the matter is that Dorit and Erika high fived it out and were done with it. But, Eileen feels the need to protect Erika by bringing it up again. Even when Erika was the one who said that continually talking about it is what makes it bigger than it actually is. The troubling thing for me is that while Erika wants the subject to drop, she hasn't stopped Eileen from continually bringing it up. I also find it weird that in her blog after the delivering of the panties, Erika does not mention Eileen's comment about being shy while spreading her legs. Here is what Erika said in her blog: Why doesn't she mention how Eileen mocked her and how both women encouraged Dorit and said they wanted to be there for the presentation? It's like she has a blind spot where Eileen and Rinna are concerned. And it makes me feel like Ericka - for all of her, "no time for drama" blandishments is really wanting Eileen to keep this going so that Erika can be the victim. I don't know how to explain it, but I am giving Erika major side eye now whereas before she only ever got a yawn and a head scratch from me.
  25. I thought that was what Ramona said about Jill Zarin - I remember it being around the same time Ramona asked Kelly if she was going to get her boobs fixed before she posed in playboy. Man, those were the days.
