What I mean by the fourth wall is the idea that these reality people are just schmos who stumble on these opportunities. When Bethenny opined the "operator" assessment of Adam, I don't know that it was necessarily connected to the Houston situation or a culmination of various Adam opportunities presented via the connection with the show. Bethenny has said she wished she could stuff it back into her mouth. I would think if Adam was contacted by e-mail, he would have responded by e-mail. I doubt volunteers in Houston had access to Bethenny's e-mail account. There is a record. That is what I mean about Bethenny not going scorched earth on Carole at this point. She knows there is rarely a happy ending when you burn a friendship down to smoke and ash. This is just me, but when people are having a contentious conversation I want to start with a firm understanding of what the situation was at the time of the alleged offense. I certainly would never allow drunken Dorinda to be the one to establish the understanding. Carole is now claiming Bethenny didn't support her during her half marathon, instead she was busy cutting Luann down. This is a pattern with Bethenny and Carole both-they love to point out others' shortcomings-especially Luann's. I don't think Bethenny is the friend to have when one gets the merit badge for finishing something. I have never seen her compliment Kyle on anything and they are great friends. I don't even think Bethenny went to Kyle's big premiere on Wednesday night of her new show. I get it Carole needs recognition for her athletic pursuits, I just find it weird. It is like saying to someone-congratulations on your work out today. On the horizon is Ramona calling Bethenny out for not being supportive-I don't think it is an anti-woman thing, I believe Bethenny doesn't compliment unless there is something in it for her.

I do believe the comp part is a dicey area for production. It will never be addressed at the episode level. I agreed with what Carole allegedly told Bethenny about Adam being an operator. All the business people do it. Especially Bethenny. There is a reason they go to a certain casino and film and then lo and behold during airing of the episodes there is a RH night at the same casino. I am sure Adam just figured it was another benefit of being in the RH world-the one Luann originally introduced him to. The guy is marketing himself. I am not a Bethenny fan but I don't think she would make up a conversation with Carole. I feel as if what Bethenny is doing is trying to get Carole to stop breaking the fourth wall stuff. She pretty much asked Carole what she was doing. Carole wants to know what the rift is between she and Bethenny and at the same time defend anything Bethenny might consider a rift. Let Bethenny get her gripe out and then tear it down. Personally, I think Bethenny is playing it far smarter than Carole right now-no long blogs, showing e-mails, or going for the jugular, Bethenny knows that stuff sticks forever. In a couple of weeks it will be all about Luann and her arrest.

Quite honestly if it is economy of time I would watch the last 15 minutes and the first fifteen minutes of Wednesday's episode. There is almost an Emmy worthy shutdown of Bethenny-and it isn't just Carole.

For just once these fools should just show the e-mails. Done deal.

If a brand keeps just throwing something at the wall to see what sticks it is eventually devalued. I would think the jeans would be a risky business after the lack of success of the shapewear. Just like the luggage that never materialized-went out on social media but didn't happen. Skinnygirl non-alcoholic beverages are attached to a good manufacturer but it is all about shelf space and from its onset Skinnygirl has always had the disadvantage of well , the name. It is for women. Men don't buy Skinnygirl sparklers. Women and men do buy Arnold Palmer Half&Half, and his beverage brand is expanding and Arnold is not doing any social media these days. Skinnygirl has its niche and after almost 10 years notoriety of RH Bethenny Frankel isn't enough. I would think it would be hard to pitch new food and beverage products when any number have ended up in the close out bins at Marshall's. Martha Stewart made a name by being associated with 2,000 items at Macy's alone. I know she is the example Bethenny is following but I swear it is like being inside a pinball machine with Bethenny. She just pings everywhere. One day she is offer relief to hurricane victims, the next day she is suing her ex for full custody. She gives empowerment speeches to women's groups and then turns around and excoriates her co-workers. Meanwhile, Martha is doing home meals hanging with Snoop Dog and judging on Chopped. Granted Bethenny did Shark Tank but it is always something off color with her. Pretty soon it will be Bethenny University and Bethenny Steaks. I do think Bethenny has a command of how branding works and there is also a counter branding culture afoot. How does one unbrand?

I recall the conversation between the two and was unable to find a clip of it. I remember it because Carole and Adam had been photographed and all the while they were vacationing with Bethenny and Dennis. Bethenny, without mentioning Dennis' name is talking about how in love he is with her (the usual) and draws Carole into the conversation about how wonderful the guy that wants to marry Bethenny is and the vacation deal comes up.

Bethenny has never brought up the trips she and Dennis treated Carole and Adam to as a reason Adam should have gone to Houston. It is pure speculation by some on PTV. I know facts are frowned upon in this situation but it seems Bethenny went to Houston, and gave a speech in September 10, 2017, a Sunday, and the day before, she began her #itsacrisis branding. She was out among the people the day before on a Saturday. The hurricane happened two weeks earlier. So Bethenny was no exactly a first responder. If Bethenny is to be believed, in her tale to Dorinda, Adam initially indicated he was interested in serving as a photographer on Bethenny's journey. Bethenny was left with the impression that once Adam discovered he wasn't being compensated for the actual work, he backed out, citing he needed to work. Apparently, Bethenny's use of the word "I" instead of the people from Houston, led Dorinda to believe Bethenny had contacted (called, e-mailed) Adam and she passed the same on to Carole. Bethenny went on to say she had told Carole she felt Adam was an operator. Carole objected to the characterization stating all people in business behave in such a fashion. It is unclear if Bethenny was responding to Adam's declination of Houston or perhaps another situation. Carole, who I guess could have checked the e-mails as to their genesis seemed steamed Bethenny had contacted Adam. Carole simply contends that Adam had a work conflict. Carole claims Adam wanted to go, which would seem he was willing to do it without compensation. These women were both so busy trying to one up each other with clever repartee, it was difficult to understand their positions. To me, it seemed Bethenny thought Carole was angry over her comment about Adam being an operator, and Carole thought Bethenny was angry over Adam asking for compensation for the photography work. Mostly, it is Carole does not want Bethenny talking behind her back. Carole should have stated the same. Bethenny should just have admitted it was wrong and then laid into Dorinda about carrying tales and what she said. Instead Carole shifts gears and spills that Bethenny called Luann a loser and Bethenny doesn't pay enough attention to her. It is not a question if Carole has $20,000.00 in the bank to spend on a great vacation, it is about how she chooses to spend her money. Regardless of one's financial situation, we have all turned down, or not even shown interest in something we can afford. It would be like someone saying at a benefit dinner, "here let me buy you some raffle tickets," it is not that one can't afford the $100.00, it may be it is not a priority in how they want to spend their money. Adam is also a factor. They may have an agreement where Carole does not pick up Adam's expenses. The proposition that Dennis had already paid for the private jet and residence so it wasn't a big expenditure doesn't work for me. Carole and Adam went in lieu of another couple maybe even a cost sharing couple. Or even if it is a tax write off-they still spent the money. Years ago my husband, who is not really a football fan was given Superbowl tickets and a spot on the private jet from a vintner. The most I had ever seen my husband spend on the Superbowl was a $10 bet. It is not that we can't afford the trip it is just not a priority. Carole makes a decent salary, but I maintain, Dennis and Bethenny probably do have to treat people to vacation with them because they are both so full of themselves. Me personally, I don't see the upside of sexy salad boy and having him as part of a vacation.

Ramona looks awful and she is being her usual all about me self. Ramona knows the only hope she has for another season is going to war with Bethenny. I agree with Bethenny, Ramona is getting far too much pleasure out of the Bethenny/Carole discord. I can't believe Ramona is launching another skin care line after the last one tanked. Ramona is looking pretty bloated these days and every bit of 60.

I am glad you explained it as I thought Bethenny prattling on and on about fritters was really bad acting or a very good example of why mommies should not dip into their children's ADD medicine.

Kathryn is dirty, she has no love interest, she has no money, she doesn't have a job, she is crazy and an addict, there is no value to the show in her or the rest of the cast if Thomas leaves. They get rid of OGs on this show and all over Bravo. Kathryn's only value is to Peyton, Naomie, Chelsea-she makes them look like a real catch when compared to her. Kathryn was never in Patricia's good graces. Patricia has always despised her but I am sure for Whitney she would buddy up to anyone. All I can say is Thomas can pick them. Although tacky it is not illegal to wish someone would overdose. Maybe this latest loser should think about the kids-even if their parents don't.

I hope Ashley gets a grip-her weight loss seems to border on the unhealthy side.

The restriction was over a non-parent being left alone with children. After three months it is okay for the non parent to be left alone with the child/children. It is none of Kathryn's business who Thomas dates and none of Thomas' business who Kathryn dates. I can't imagine a decent person having any interest of them. The longest sustained period of togetherness Thomas and Kathryn have had as parents seems to be during labor and delivery. As time goes on the brief time Thomas and Kathryn have spent together is dwarfed by the continuing relationship with Ashley. I feel for Kathryn because her entire livelihood is wrapped up in this show, and the only thing she can offer up is bringing drama. There can never be smooth sailing between Kathryn and Ashley because of the show. It is a tightrope performance because Kathryn goes too far and she can end up back at square one regarding custody. The worst that can happen to Ashley is she goes back to being a nurse-be it in California or South Carolina. I am sure Thomas feels some pressure to stay on the show so Kathryn has income.What has Ashley done to Whitney to warrant such a bad edit? Kathryn's objection to Ashley going to Saint's party is it is too new for Kathryn. Ashley has been in Saint's life for 25% of his young life. It should be about Saint not Kathryn. Kathryn needs to realize Thomas and she will most likely move on to new partners and this is the time to start laying the groundwork for the future. Ashley doesn't bother me because the desperation smell she reeks seems as if it comes directly from producer Whitney. Much of the conversation between Ashley and Thomas seems contrived to fulfill Whitney's stereotypes. If Thomas leaves the show, I am quite certain Kathryn is out of a job. I think the others merely tolerate her because her breakdowns bring the ratings. They will need to find another aging Lothario to replace Thomas. I will miss the polo aspect that Thomas brings. I would think Thomas might want to introduce Ashley to horseback riding. I felt kind of bad for her and had no clue why the rest could not ride up ahead. Of course if it were my stable, I would not let someone with a broken foot ride.

I believe it was Carole telling Adam he didn't want to date anyone else. Carole seems to be Miss Bossypants when it comes to Adam.

This whole situation is a leaky mess because they are not working from the same set of blueprints. First it was about Bethenny calling Adam and now we find out Bethenny didn't make the call, it was an e-mail from one of her contacts. I don't think you get your panties in a bunch over a friend calling your boyfriend if she didn't call. Same with the day of the week, if Carole is asserting Adam tried to rearrange his schedule to clear Sunday and the trip is on a Saturday it is not a very cohesive set of facts. Most of all this seems to have risen over a conversation Dorinda had with Bethenny and screwed up about half the conversation. To further complicate things, Carole is playing the save a ho routine by claiming she quashed the Page Six story about the divide between she and Bethenny. Everyone needs to sit down and stop taking bows. I can see why Carole is hurting but I do think she should have just told Bethenny she was angry about how Bethenny had been treating her. Carole just mimicked Bethenny's behavior with the snide comments and not letting Bethenny finish. I hate to say it but I do think Carole was playing for the crowd,

Bethenny when on her radio show said she only dates billionaires with a B and guys with private planes. To be clear, I think Dennis probably avails himself to something like Netjets-fractional ownership. Jim Edmonds and Mauricio also have such an arrangement. Bethenny use to have pictures up on her social media of various window shots from the private jets. I don't think Bethenny and Dennis paying for the vacation is relevant to the situation at hand. Bethenny has never raised it. The closest thing that came up was Carole not staying with Bethenny in the Hamptons. I do think Carole and Adam have benefited from Bethenny and Dennis' largess. Again it is not about who picked up the tab. I believe it is the episode where Bethenny originally talks about Dennis but doesn't mention him by name-the same season Luann got engaged. Carole thanked Bethenny for including them. From the trip pics-which ironically were of Adam and Carole they were in St. Barths Bethenny's playground. Bethenny likes to brag her men have private jets so my guess is they joined them on the plane ride.

I believe you are correct Adam told Mission Control he could not afford it and last night Carole said he wanted to go but could not rearrange his schedule. I can see both sides of it. Bethenny was hell bent on an all volunteer force and Adam wanted to be paid. To me Carole just wants to call Bethenny out for talking behind her back. This is something Luann tried to curb at the Season 1 Reunion, but everyone thought her Greek Chorus stuff was so clever. Bethenny hasn't changed but her stature has.

Actually what Bethenny said was Adam asked what the comp was. Then Bethenny went on to say she wasn't paying anyone. Bethenny said it rubbed her the wrong way that he agreed to go and then decided not to when he found out there was no compensation. I agree Bethenny doesn't know the others' finances and we are talking about one day. When Carole said Adam wanted to do it but could not rearrange his schedule I think the missed pay was irrelevant-it was about work commitments. No one has said Adam could not afford to take the day off. However I did think it was bitchy Bethenny saying teachers and nurses have nothing. Adam spends significant time vacationing and pursuing his hobbies-I was under the impression from Carole that he was unable to get a client to change schedules so he could go. Bethenny is not mad at Carole for Adam not going. Carole is mad at Bethenny for Bethenny repeating the "operator" comment to Dorinda and whoever else.

Funny how a little thing like the truth can have such an impact. I want to Kathryn to accept the fact she is better off without Thomas in her life and acknowledge Ashley as the children's bonus mom for the time being.

Well for all the explanations apparently what Carole wanted was for Bethenny to cop to speaking unkindly about her and I would think stop speaking unkindly about her. Carole has not been an angel. Bethenny pretty much said that Adam was better off (financially)than the nurses and teachers who were volunteering. Of course that was in response to Adam asking for and being denied compensation. Then Carole claims Adam wanted to do it but he had a scheduling conflict-the fact she didn't seem to know what day the trip was planned was somehow reduced to minutia. I agree that Bethenny was speaking in lieu of the minion that sent the e-mail. There is also another wrinkle in this situation in that production does not want to introduce nameless, faceless people into the fray or speak of such things as daily production schedules. I am thinking that Dorinda and Ramona were the ones that wanted to see an all out battle between Bethenny and Carole. Dorinda and Ramona are trying desperately to shove Bethenny out of the picture. It seems they want Luann and Sonja out as well. So Carole is stepping up to the plate hoping to split the herd and shame Bethenny into being her BFF again. It will never happen-Bethenny would befriend Luann before she would ever kowtow to Carole, Adam, Tinsley, Ramona and Dorinda. Dorinda is about half a liver away from some serious health issues surrounding her love of the drink. Her future may not be all that bright.

Between Dennis' line of work-usury lender, bragging about being a friend of Michael Cohen and lastly teller of this biggest load of manure of why and when he went bald-on a bet he shaved his head, I think he is a perfect match and Bethenny. I always kind of thought Jason didn't know he was signing up for the starter husband/sperm donor position
