Season 16 Live Feed Discussion: Keeping an Eye Out
Overwhelming No replied to Stinger97's topic in Past Seasons
This first post in that thread says the thread is for: The winner of the latest HoH, PoV, etc.; The latest alliances and backstabbing; The current blowouts. Sooo... yeah. Lowlights, indeed. -

It's funny how few posts are in the Live Feed Highlights thread. Perhaps it should have been named "Lowlights" this season. That surely would have garnered more posts. -

BB10's Steven Daigle. Although maybe some would consider a gay cowboy a stereotype. -

It would be too loud. Imagine the sound the spoons/forks clanking on real dinnerwear would make. My kids do this in the morning with their cereal bowls and it's annoying. I imagine the mics would make it unbearable. That's what she Christine said. -

That's not fair to Frankie. I'm assuming you said this because he's gay, but that doesn't account for taste. As a hetero woman, I assure you, I would be nowhere near "heaven" with this group of men. Frankie seems more concerned with winning, or even boosting his career, than hooking up. Saying he would be in "hell" might be more accurate. -
S16.E01: 16 New Houseguests Are Introduced & HoH Comp #1
Overwhelming No replied to Tara Ariano's topic in Past Seasons
She's not a Disney star, she's a Nickelodeon star, and on-track to become their biggest star ever. -
On Monday when I was checking the TVguide.com listings to confirm episode 5 would not be airing, this was what the listing said: I wonder what the deal was. Instead of the wedding, we got the recap episode. Not that I care one whit about Emily. I just wondered if that was a mistake, if they pulled the wedding broadcast, or what.

S04.E09: The Watchers On The Wall 2014.06.08
Overwhelming No replied to Mya Stone's topic in The Unsullied Habitat
Mr. Boo and I usually re-watch the show the next night, but haven't yet re-watched this week. Thanks to those who reminded me why Olly's killing of Ygritte was poetic justice. All I could think about previously was Styr telling Olly he was going to eat his parents. Frankly, as long as Stry and Ygritte are pushing daisies, I'm good. Ghost puppies! Dibs! -

We've still got the ever-hilarious Edd at the top of the wall! For now, at least. For me, it might have been more satisfying if Olly's and Sam's killings had been reversed~ Olly could get revenge by killing the Thenn, and Sam could be the one to kill Ygritte. I'm glad to see that creepy fucking Thenn bite it~ every time he had a scene, Midnight Oil's "Beds are Burning" started playing in my head. I couldn't look at the Thenn without thinking of, (the awesome), Peter Garrett. -
Sharleen has made it clear~ she just can't with him.

I was thinking Nick looks like John Lithgow, but Peter MacnNicol is pretty good, too. He appears to have some mild speech impediment, which causes me to stare at his mouth when he speaks. A couple of times he's said "feels" or "feelings", but he doesn't quite pronounce the "l", so it sounds slightly like he saying "feews" I am not feewing him at all.

That's not all Andi saw of Nick. Or maybe I should say it *taint* all she saw. *shudder*

I was confused by Tasha's vote, too. A few TCs ago, Spencer told everyone he would vote for Tony if Tony made it to the end and Tasha nodded in agreement. I wonder what changed her mind. As much as I enjoyed having all-new players and very little show hijinks, (fucking Tyler Perry Idol notwithstanding), I'm actually glad this season is over.

I can barely stand this season's Ponderosa videos, which sucks, because that's generally one of my favorite things about each season. Sarah isn't the sharpest tool, Morgan is superficial, but not entertainingly so. LJ is so, so dull. Jeremiah makes me want to stab my eardrums with an icepick when he speaks. I couldn't even get through Jefra's video when she started OMGing when seeing herself in the mirror. Plus, I need a 2nd icepick when she speaks. And then Trish arrives with her braying laugh. On top of the annoyances, these people are so inhospitable to new arrivals. At first I was disappointed there was only one video per castoff, but now I'm grateful. Ugh. Thank goodness for Tasha, at least. Love her!

S04.E02: The Lion And The Rose

I just assumed Tyrion wanted the performers to be paid, or paid extra, because he felt they were being belittled, (see what I did there?) -

If it's not *the* necklace, it's an exact copy of the one we saw in the last episode, so I presume it's the same one. Maybe they just took a gamble on her wearing it. She didn't say she'd wear it to the wedding, but said she'd "wear it with pride." -

That was before the wedding, at the pre-feast. Sansa is in a different dress and has a different hairstyle, so one presumes she saved the necklace for the wedding and post-celebration. Also, it's highly possible we'll never know who/what killed Joffrey. I just pointed out something I noticed after trying to connect the dots with Dontos, the necklace, etc. It could mean nothing! -

I watched it in stop motion, frame by frame. You can clearly see Lady Olenna grab and pull the gem on the right side of the necklace. When you next see Sansa, head-on, there is a gem missing from the design. Conan Troutman~ the scene is right before Lady O says she needs to eat some of the food she paid for, when she's chatting with Sansa, saying only a monster would kill someone at a wedding. -

That would be the Lord of Highgarden, Mace Tyrell. -

Rewatch the part where Lady Oleanna plays with Sansa's hair. Watch her right hand carefully~ she snatches a jewel off Sansa's necklace. Later, Marg takes the cup from Jeoffrey's hand and places it on the table in front of Lady Oleanna. I watched it frame by frame. Also, the lack of continuity during that scene bugs. Lady O's arm is in various places, depending on the shot. -
Did Kass forget zombies eat brains? Alexis was beginning to remind me too much of the Ever-Annoying Eliza, so I was thrilled by her sobbing exit. Thanks to everyone here at PTV for making all the migraters feel welcome.
