  1. Dear 90-Day gods: Please do not let Isabel and Gabe turn out to be terrible people. Right now I'm really liking them and believe they may have a chance. -they've met in person before -they're both bilingual -they seem to genuinely like each other Don't let me down now!
  2. The fakery of the Australian version is over the top. It makes the American franchise look like an exercise in cinema verite. 😄
  3. I think Dom has a reasonable point in not wanting to be the one who always has to be the cheerleader and overcome Mack's reluctance about participating in the planned activities. They are not the first couple who has been paired on the basis of "oh, partner A is outgoing and will draw out the introverted partner B!", and I dont think It's really fair to put that expectation on a spouse one just met. And as far as his sense of humor, a lot of it does seem to be based on complaining, or lying about something with a straight face and then saying the equivalent of PSYCH! I think I would find that tiresome as well. Two things that have also jumped out at me were his reaction to being in a middle seat on their flight, and his response to seeing her place. She said she was hoping to learn something about him from his living quarters, but he said himself nothing there was his. Then he got petulant and said he wasn't going to look around at her place because she didnt look around his. Huh? I'm suspicious of his whole back story, lots of pieces dont fit together. So yeah, she could be better at grinning and bearing his negativity, but I'm not on his team either.
  4. https://www.primetimer.com/news/WGA-DGA-SAG-AFTRA-strikes-production-effects "This week NBC announced that its drama La Brea was renewed for a third season, but that season would only be six episodes long, even though series regulars have a 10-episode minimum guarantee in their contracts. That short order was in anticipation of a potential strike by DGA, WGA (Full disclosure: I am a member of the WGAE), and SAG-AFTRA workers, and according to Deadline, the network allowed actors to break their contracts after the show’s third season to find other work, signaling that this will be the end of La Brea." Oh well.
  5. I'm surprised at how genuinely upset I am about this. MM's statement was classy, as expected.
  6. Do I remember hearing he dated another MAFS alumnus after his season?

    S02.E10: The Return

This may genuinely be the worst show I've ever watched. 😄
  8. Texas Ryan? The blob who barely spoke? Probably wouldn't have been my first choice as a commenter!
  9. Ugh, what is going on tonight? I don't hate Jen's family either!
  10. Something is very wrong here. I like this woman.
  11. Well, I'm definitely not gonna rewatch or anything, but it seemed to me like the ginger comment came out of nowhere. What was the conversation just prior? Context actually does matter, and I don't trust the editors.
  12. I attended Sarah Lawrence for three semesters in the 1970s and still cannot get over this story.
  13. But that would also mean ruining her cute skinny jeans! Not gonna happen!
  14. Eve heroically grabbed the bunny when she ran out of the cave! 😄
  15. Is the After Party show really an hour now, as my TV listings indicated??
  16. That went by quick but I think "Sell Drugz" might have been the name of one of his raps? (laughs uncontrollably)
  17. Tai might want to take it easy on the death threats. Lotta witnesses.
  18. I cannot get over how many levels the name "Sincer-A" is wrong on.
  19. Has anyone checked out the podcast they've been flogging?
  20. Sometimes people who think they don't want kids end up changing their minds for a variety of reasons. I did, and it wasn't because I was getting a show out of it. :)
  21. I recently discovered I have access to a channel called "Justice Central" that runs court shows all day long--Judge Hatchett, Judge Ross, Judge Mablean, Judge Perez, etc. I enjoy them to varying degrees, but I can't always tell the ones that feature "real litigants" from the ones that are "recreations", believe it or not. I don't particularly want to watch actors.
