The B1G has two divisions, East & West. East has historically been stronger w/tOSU, TTUN, and Penn St. Oregon & USC entered into the West.

I have to agree with @Chit Chatthat yes, Saban & AL made tons of money off college football, but he did instill discipline and he does care about the players. He may have the same last name (pronunciation) as me, but I've never been a Saban fan. However, he does care about the quality of the product and the young men who play it.

I may have misheard him. What's TN excuse? They play at Rocky Top, which is on the top of a mountain and it snows there on occassion.
-
So far the TNvtOSU game is a rout, too.
-
That was shocking to hear, but more shocking to me was that he was 65. I hope it wasn't a long illness, and that he went peacefully.
-
That's all we're gonna hear until next August. But Bama did it to themselves by losing so badly against OK. If Jennings hadn't thrown three Int's in the first qtr and fumbled (even tho he was down, he still fumbled) maybe SMU would've been able to fight.

I didn't watch it, but hubby said the IU QB threw 2ints in the first 5 min. That told me all I needed to know.

WTFFF! even TCM doesn't remember David Soul? First the Emmys, but I thought I could rely on TCM correcting that mistake. I'm so hurt for his family and so angry for his fans. We will never forget you, David. -
Damn. I need the Bucs to win the division. They have better chance of that w/Cousins as the ATL QB. (Even tho the refs gave the Falcons the first game they played each other).

It used to be you joined a school for pride of institution, education, maybe familial ties, not NIL money. Yes, for athletes so that they can take the next step. By exiting BEFORE the title game, they are effectively doing a DeVondre Campbell, an Antonio Brown. Letting their fellow teammates down by quitting. Not to mention letting their classmates, faculty & alumnae down by denying the institution the funds they would get by playing in the Title game. And in Marshall's case, the legacy of those who were killed in the plane crash because they loved the game, not the money.
-
The NCAA needs to start regulating the portal. 25 players from Marshall entered due to their coach leaving after a contract dispute. Leaving Marshall unable to compete for the Sunbelt Title. I saw an article that called the portal the "wild west". Even pros are subject to contracts and free agency is regulated. Right now it seems the college portal is a free for all.

This years MVP race is tight. You've got three great potential candidates in Allen, Barkley & Goff. This week Barkley & Allen did little to help their cause with average or below outings, while Goff (in a loss totally on the defense), had a he'll of a game. I say Barkley wins OPoY and it's a toss between the other two. I wouldn't be disappointed in either. (If Cinci's defense was halfway decent, Joe would be running away w/MVP)

Age or length if time married isn't always the main factor when spouses or partners go through grief. -
The Jags just couldn't hold on, could they? Kudos to the Chiefs who came over to check on Myles Garrett when his eye was poked by a Chiefs player by accident. While Myles was on the ground in pain (he threw off his own helmet this time 😆), they stopped their huddle to check on him.
