I would say it's likely given that I saw a casting call for it online dated October 2023. And last year FN announced its return in March for the season beginning in late April 2023, so I'm figuring the timetable might be similar this year. 1 2 Link to comment

jcbrown February 23 Share February 23 I watched a rerun of this this morning (don't remember which episode) and was struck by what a good judge Eddie Jackson was on it. He thanked contestants for their work, complimented what he could, and offered specific feedback where needed. He has really grown into the role and I think this show exhibits that more than some of the others he is on (like the Christmas cookie one with craptastic Ree). He was very supportive and kind but also direct, and you don't always see that in these sorts of shows, especially on FN. 2 1 Link to comment
eclectcmoi May 3 Share May 3 Really happy this show is back and I enjoyed it as much as ever. Good first episode too. I felt bad for the cheftestant who fell during her race back to her station. That left bruises and sore areas the next day, I'm sure. 3 Link to comment
Salacious Kitty May 3 Share May 3 (edited) I thought production gave away the winner during the episode. I would have been more surprised if he hadn't won. Plus, isn't the winner determined from just the last cook? Because Alex said he'd had 3 good cooks. Is this a rule change, or have they been considering all 3 rounds before this? If so, they never mentioned it Edited May 3 by Salacious Kitty 2 Link to comment
jcbrown May 7 Share May 7 (edited) I'm a terrible person but the woman who fell got on my last nerve with her yammering and I was really hoping she would not win. (Not that I wanted her to get hurt, I just wanted her to dial back the perky.) I am glad the show is back! Edited May 7 by jcbrown 3 Link to comment
Yeah No May 7 Share May 7 I actually thought the woman should have won. This is one of those cases where I felt that it should have been a blind judging. Also with two judges with Southern tastes it made me think their expectation for sweetness was on a much higher level than average, which worked against her. That guy's dish looked like chicken with a candy coating.... I am happy the show is back, though. I don't know why I love this show so much but I do, LOL. 3 Link to comment

eclectcmoi May 9 Share May 9 I don't remember that, but maybe they did. The first episode of this season, it was still only going in at the end of the 3rd round. 1 Link to comment
catrice2 May 23 Share May 23 I haven't seen Alex in a while, she looks different than the last time I saw her, but it was a while ago. Glad she still has a show. I really hate they have celebrity chef's competing when so many regular chefs could use the money, 1 Link to comment
Yeah No May 29 Share May 29 I really enjoyed the latest episode where the judges competed. Eric Greenspan used to be a regular on GGG but he hasn't been on it in a while so it was fun to see him again because he's funny and such a goof. I thought it was a little suspect that a couple of the carts coming out had just the right ingredients for an Asian challenge. It seems like most of the time in Arizona people come out with ingredients for Mexican dishes. I was also floored on how the people caved and sold their carts for so little when they recognized the judge, lol. Next week will feature another round with more judges like Damaris. 4 Link to comment
jcbrown June 5 Share June 5 I am also enjoying the judges' episodes. I love Eric Greenspan. Did not realize he had started an American cheese company and now I am looking for where to get it. 1 Link to comment
Gramto6 June 5 Share June 5 I too am enjoying the judges contest!! You can tell they are all friends and are having fun while competing. 3 Link to comment
Yeah No June 14 Share June 14 I like Joe and appreciate his win, but I felt sorry for Karen Acunowicz losing to Viet Pham and missing the finale. She is a James Beard award winner for best chef Northeast while Viet was a Beard semifinalist once. I think she looks great, too, she lost a lot of weight. I don't live that far from Boston. One day I'd love to go to one of her restaurants. 2 Link to comment

I noticed it was marked as episode 4 which would make it an older episode than the most recent new one we've seen, which I think was episode 8. But they often air shows out of order I've noticed, and interestingly because of that I've sometimes found eps they haven't aired yet on my "on Demand" with Comcast. 2 Link to comment
eclectcmoi June 25 Share June 25 I had missed the deli one too and looked for it on demand. We have DirecTV and I think some episodes were mislabeled when they first aired. I'm going to go back and make sure I didn't miss any more. 1 Link to comment
Grizzly July 3 Share July 3 I don't know who Owen Hall is but he can be on every show I watch! 😍 I would have given the win to the brownie sundae, but I have a sweet tooth. Will miss this show since we get to see the playful side of Alex and the judges. Link to comment

I don't buy the "needs salt" the brownie...if Maneet (sp) gadntvsaid something about no salt, I'm pretty darn sure the other judge wouldn't of thot the same thing. Oh well. 2 Link to comment

eclectcmoi July 9 Share July 9 Do we have any new episodes coming or is the show done for this season? My DirecTV genie/DVR's hard drive crashed and I lost everything I had recorded or set to record. 😖 Link to comment

My DirecTV genie/DVR's hard drive crashed and I lost everything I had recorded or set to record. 😖 According to Food Network there's supposed to be 14 episodes this season of which they have already shown 10. But my DVR is showing that the next two weeks' episodes will be repeats of the "Cheese Pull" episode (which is supposed to be #8) and the "All in the Family" episode (which is supposed to be #7), so I don't know what's up with that, especially because on my DVR it's listing them as episodes 1 and 2. More and more lately what appears on my DVR and program guide doesn't match up to what I see on many show's sites. 1 Link to comment
eclectcmoi July 9 Share July 9 My DVR even before crashing was doing wonky things too. Maybe it's the network though... This is what shows on the Supermarket Stakeout website... Link to comment

This is what I'm seeing on the FN Supermarket Stakeout site: https://www.foodnetwork.com/shows/supermarket-stakeout/episodes What you posted skips from episode 9 to episode 13 while mine shows all Season 6 episodes in order from 1-14. WTF??? It's enough to drive one batty! 1 Link to comment
eclectcmoi July 9 Share July 9 So weird! I like what's in the link you shared more than what I posted. That gives us more episodes! This silly show gives me happy! 2 Link to comment
Grizzly July 9 Share July 9 What time do you show the July 9th episode as being broadcast? Because my guide shows Bobby's Triple Threat in the Stakeout time slot. Link to comment
Salacious Kitty July 9 Share July 9 Definitely Triple Threat tonight. FN has been showing previews with Marcus Samuelsson for the past couple of weeks. Link to comment
Yeah No July 10 Share July 10 There was no episode of "Supermarket Stakeout" shown tonight. The next one I see listed isn't until 7/16 and it's the "Cheese Pull Please" repeat episode. The week after that on 7/23 they've listed the "All in the Family" repeat episode. That's as far in advance as my cable company shows me. Why they would show two repeats when they haven't shown all the new episodes yet is beyond me. Link to comment
Salacious Kitty July 10 Share July 10 (edited) My guide doesn't show any episodes of SS airing in the 16th. The lineup for that night is Chopped, Triple Threat, and a rerun of Alex vs. America at 10. I didn't look at 11pm, as they wouldn't air a new episode then. Edited July 10 by Salacious Kitty Autofill got me again! Link to comment

I just noticed why - the two repeat episodes airing on the 16th and the 23rd are on from Noon to 1:00 p.m. My guide doesn't show what time they're airing until you go to record them for some reason, which is not helpful but it is what it is. The only reason I figured it out was because I saw the times listed on the TV Guide site. The show might be on a break for a while and will resume airing new episodes in August. We can only hope. 1 Link to comment
Yeah No July 10 Share July 10 I just wrote a message to FN on their customer service help page: Hi, I belong to a TV chat board and we noticed that no new episodes of "Supermarket Stakeout" are currently scheduled to air within the next two weeks. Meanwhile we know that there are 4 new episodes that have not aired according to your website. Our question is, will they air and when will they resume airing? We all love this show and are anxious to see more of it. Thank you! Let's see if they respond! 6 1 Link to comment

Gramto6 July 31 Share July 31 (edited) It is possible they just saved that block of 4 episodes to air after all the Olympic stuff is over. If the went up to Opening day they'd only have 1 or 2 to show after. This way they have a sort of "mini season" left to air after. Just my thought... Edited July 31 by Gramto6 2 Link to comment

I wish, but I also watch "Alex vs. America" and it looks like they pulled Stakeout to start airing that because it started the very week after they stopped airing this. So maybe after that season is over they'll air it? We can only hope. 1 Link to comment
