Kite Man Spinoff Of Harley Quinn Show In Development

Kite-Man-in-Harley-Quinn.jpeg?q=50&fit=c

Chuck Brown, the "supervillain" known as Kite Man (voiced by Matt Olberg) is getting an animated series that is a spinoff from Harley Quinn that will air on HBO Max. The series is tentatively titled Noonan's, based on the name of the bar that Kite Man purchases that is a popular hangout spot in Gotham for hitman, supervillains, and their henchmen.

"Kite Man tries to run the bar by himself but it doesn't turn out so easy. We have Harley and Ivy appear in the first episode, but after that we have different goons and villains appearing every episode like Lex Luthor and Bane. It will be kind of like 'Cheers' for supervillains."

In Harley Quinn Season 3 Harvey Guillen will voice Nightwing and James Gunn will voice a caricature of himself, who is making a movie about Bruce Wayne. No release date has been announce, but they are currently mixing the audio for the show,

Hard to imagine, though I'll admit my main experience with Harvey has been from What We Do In The Shadows. One good thing about Nightwing: they can bring up his butt. I think it's comics canon that his trunk is divine.

‘Harley Quinn’ Team Won’t Listen to Fans Who Want Joker Romance: Harley and Ivy Will ‘Never’ Break Up

Quote

“We still have the occasional fan reaction of ‘I don’t like Harley and Ivy together. She should get back with the Joker,’ which we’re never going to do,” Schumacker said. “Harley and Ivy will never break up in the series as long as we have a say. That’s something that we never want to touch again.”

Good to know! I was contemplating killing off my HBO subscription until enough things have built up that it was worth it again. Looks like I'll wait a few more days...
