EtheltoTillie March 21, 2019 Share March 21, 2019 New show started three weeks ago starring Chris Noth and Danny Pino. It's like the old Without a Trace combined with Breakout Kings. It's on WGN, so maybe people will not be able to see it. I think it's really good. Link to comment
mxc90 March 22, 2019 Share March 22, 2019 I've watched from the start and I'm staying for now. The cast is OK. The premise is a little bothersome: civilian Kick is allowed to carry a gun (yes, she has a license), go in the field with the other agent by knocking down doors, interview witnesses, picking bank vault locks and engaging violent criminals. But I guess the show needs to find a way to get her in the action instead of staying on the plane and consult. Also, her friend was picked up off the street by the FBI and immediately granted access to their computer system?!?!?! Chris Noth's character must have pissed off his superiors to not have better, qualified agents at his disposal and had to lean hard on these two civilians to help find missing people. Link to comment
LakeGal March 22, 2019 Share March 22, 2019 I've seen the first season. It was on in Canada a few months ago. I liked it enough I would watch a second season if there is one. It wasn't great. But it held my interest. Link to comment
catherinejane March 23, 2019 Share March 23, 2019 Also seen (they showed it all in the UK) and enjoyed all the (13?) episodes. Chris North is always worth watching. 2 Link to comment

kassygreene March 24, 2019 Share March 24, 2019 Filmed in and around Pittsburg, broadcast first in Australia, then France, the UK, and I think Germany and possibly elsewhere. About a year after all of those it finally gets picked up by a US channel - WGN. Link to comment
slf March 25, 2019 Share March 25, 2019 I think the premise was interesting enough but ultimately this is just a regular procedural. Whereas it should be about Kick, what she went through, solving the mystery of her abduction, etc., it's just about investigating crimes and oh, yeah, one of the investigators was abducted as a child. I dont't dislike it but it's a letdown for me. I think they could've done a lot more with Elizabeth Smart Joins the FBI than this. Link to comment
Chaos Theory March 25, 2019 Share March 25, 2019 The show is interesting. I adore Kick and her relationship to everyone. Her past messed her up enough to really effect how she sees the world but she did make some sort of life even befor North’s characters re enters her life. Yes it is ultimately a procedural and the show could do more with Kick and her past but I enjoy watching this. 1 Link to comment

hookedontv March 30, 2019 Share March 30, 2019 I do like this show and find the stories interesting to watch. I’m a Chris Noth fan, so I would probably watch even if it was terrible, which I don’t think it is. I look forward to it each week. 2 Link to comment

Dowel Jones April 4, 2019 Share April 4, 2019 I had to laugh a bit when Noth gave them all a briefing on the case of the week, and then said, "Let's move." I was hoping one of them would reply "Boss, we're in an airplane at 30,000 feet." Since Kick made sure to mention the network of her kidnapper this episode, any bets that the new potential boyfriend is actually a bad guy? He seemed to know a lot about her. Another cameo by bottom feeding paparazzi dude. He will play a part along the way, guaranteed. How hard did the car hit that guy that his cell phone was totally obliterated? Side note - it's not necessary to check behind yourself when you're being chased by the cops. They're still behind you, trust me. Great investigative idea: Okay, millions of Sabrina fans, has anyone seen a white van in the last hour or so? 2 Link to comment
Chaos Theory April 4, 2019 Share April 4, 2019 (edited) I like what the show is doing with Kick and her mom. The first episode I wasn’t really sure what to make of mom. I was pretty sure she used the kidnapping for her own needs. Just like mom and dad did for the singer on this episode. But it turns out things were hella more complicated. And who the hell would start a Beth Foster fan site? i really liked the investigation idea. Why not use social media for good? We have talk show hosts who ask their fans to do something and 24 hours later it’s done. Why not have her tweet to her fans to spot a van? Edited April 4, 2019 by Chaos Theory 1 Link to comment
greenbean April 9, 2019 Share April 9, 2019 I began watching this show on 5USA (UK) for Lee Tergesen. I saw him in the promos. I'm liking it so far. I love Kick, the actress plays her very well. At first I was annoyed with Bishop, he seemed too pushy and know-it-all, but I'm slowly warming to him. I just hope there is no romance with Kick. The set-up is farfetched, but I'm willing to go with it because the show has been enjoyable. 1 Link to comment
Brookside April 19, 2019 Share April 19, 2019 I was so hoping that the "tiger" episode was going to be about the kidnapping of, well, a tiger. Link to comment
Dowel Jones April 25, 2019 Share April 25, 2019 With all the hints that they are dropping about Kick's kidnapper's "Legion", I can't help feeling that this uber-nice boyfriend of hers is a plant, setting up for a future episode. 1 Link to comment

The lpissed ook on his face when Bishop arrived makes it seem like this is the direction or maybe he wanted to bring beer and thought against doing so. I wonder if we'll see Bishop finding his brother. Link to comment
mxc90 May 12, 2019 Share May 12, 2019 Frank's daughter and the priest (maybe the local barber and dentist) knew about Frank's and Kick's mom's "two week fling" except Kick?! What a surprise! The Bureau is over Frank for having Kick act like an agent. But Frank must have calmed them down quickly because she is still there. Link to comment
Dowel Jones May 17, 2019 Share May 17, 2019 My first reaction to the beginning of the show was 'The Following called, and they want their plotline back.' Well, I was wrong about the boyfriend (so far), but it's still possible he's part of Legion. As well the FBI Asst. Director, the way the camera kept holding on her while they were talking strategy. Maybe I'm too jaded by years of suspense shows. Trope #102 - Never, ever kill the big bad. He has to be able to plot away next season. Trope #103 - Always beat down a bad guy until he doesn't move, but don't ever check on him. He might just up and get away. I did like Kick's look of triumph, and news puke's look of utter shock, when she laid the trap on him. Better be sure of your timing though, Kick. It would have been an uncomfortable hour if the team was late getting to you. 1 Link to comment

Maybe I'm too jaded by years of suspense shows. Right call on the Following. At least Joe got the girl that escaped. Stupid Mel missed. I still don't get Mel's obsession with killing/hurting Kick. I also thought it was the boyfriend. There is no way he's coming between her and Bishop. He will be gone someway somehow next season. Moss picked the right time to kick Kick out. Where was she for the entire season? She had to know Kick was in the field from Frank's reports. And why would Frank put her in the field (if that just being an advisor was the agreement)? Why would Moss ask James if he learned the trick in Quantico. She has to know he is like Kick and not an agent. Were those two agents assigned to just escort her home and/or protect her from Mel? I give those agents credit sitting in their car, they heard a phone ring all the way from Kick's studio in the rain. Who watches the dog when Kick is off on her adventures? Too bad Cassie didn't get to use any of the martial arts taught from Kick on Mel. After all these years, Mel must have some memory to know all his kidnap victims and their siblings he didn't kidnap. I was screaming for Kick and Bishop to go in the tunnel and get Pruit. He couldn't have gotten that far. Maybe they didn't want to get dirty. 1 Link to comment

screengem January 2, 2020 Share January 2, 2020 Unfortunately, Gone is Really GONE. I really don't think that there is any interest in it, even by Netflix. I loved the location shots of Pittsburgh and Western PA. I understand that most of the props are being stored in a warehouse in Pittsburgh, so there is still some hope. 1 Link to comment
