I hope that's cool. I know, I know, I bitch all. the. time. but it is a landmark that not many shows achieve. For better or worse, I'd still rather watch an hour of Supernatural than most other shows on television. Congratulations to Jensen, Jared, Misha and the entire cast and crew on 300 episodes. PAForrest February 4, 2019 Share February 4, 2019 Oh, wow, what a time for them to be down. I don't have high hopes for the episode, but at the same time I'm still looking forward to it. In fact, I may get to watch it live for a change. I'm going to be out of town until the beginning of next week, so I won't get to read or post any commentary about the episode for a few days. But the show is going on hiatus after this, right? So at least it will be the only new episode to talk about for a while. 3 Link to comment
sarthaz February 4, 2019 Share February 4, 2019 I had low expectations for #200, after a number of truly dismal episodes, and it was brilliant. But that was Thompson/Sgriccia. This has the stench of Dabb/Singer, so it's hard to imagine it not sucking and sending me into a deep depression. I'm expecting quite the emotional ride, if nothing else. Not sure I'll be able to watch live yet, and my sources for viewing without commercials the next day appear to be drying up. Amazon doesn't have the show now and Google Play hasn't yet uploaded last week's episode, so I have no idea what's going on there. It is annoying, to say the least. Not sure why Warner Bros. would choose to do this right in the middle of the season, but maybe they feel it gives them a bit more leverage because people will be complaining. Yeah, I don't have any of those services, because my cable is expensive enough, so I generally have to watch with commercials***, however our On Demand is pretty quick for quite a few channels. The episodes go up by 2 AM the same night/morning the episode airs. *** At least until a couple weeks after the episode... after that, I guess they don't care and the commercials seem to mostly go away. 1 Link to comment

Pondlass1 February 5, 2019 Share February 5, 2019 I have recently subscribed to the Rogers IGNITE (Canada). And really like it. I especially like the option to 'restart' a show if you've - say - missed the first ten minutes. I watch live and record and then get the season blu-ray as a Christmas prezzie. I have every season except 12. Although when the show truly does end I'm sure they'll come out with a fantastic boxed set with all kinds of scrumptious extras. There's never quite been a show like this. And after all this time it's still the two leads that carry all the weight. The Vampire Diaries was ok for 3 seasons but then they had to bring in a whole bunch of extra characters to prop up the Salvatore brothers - who'd become tiresome and repetitive by then. If anyone is interested in doing this at a little after say, 8 pm Pacific Time when the last time slot is done, I'd be happy to set this up and provide the url. This would be through hack.chat (in case you'd like to check it out before hand), so it's a disposable web chat room. Since it's in a browser it should be usable from phones and tablets as well as computers and will work for any OS format. If there's anyone else who'd like to do this, I"m happy to set it up.
