Presser regarding the upcoming season, Reality Heroes vs. Villains. Looks like Anne is done. Antonia will be taking her place with Mauro.

Huh.  I've been wondering if the show was canceled because it's been so long since I heard aything about it.  I like Antonia and I don't mind Jeff if he stays calm instead of cranking it up to goofy.  It could work.

I'm not crazy about the premise but I am very happy to get Antonia instead of Anne. I love Antonia, I actually thought Jeff did okay the last time he did the show, and I will miss Anne's hyper-competitiveness not at all so I agree this is promising.

That's strange. At the end of 2021 she signed a multiyear agreement with FN for "at least" two more seasons of WCIA. I wonder if she'll be yet another female star to disappear from the network.

Antonia is OK but she has been on so many of Guy's shows I am on overload with her already. I haven't watched this show in at least 3 seasons anyway.

There have been two cycles of Worst Cooks since 2021. She seems to have fulfilled her contract. She seemed to be backing away from FN for the past few years, first leaving BBQ Brawl, then guesting on BBF. 

Just wondering, does Rock Shrimp also produce Worst Cooks? Could this be a beef with Flay that she would never win?

We don't know if she backed away or was pushed out. Over the past few years a few of the older female stars have been disappearing from the network like Rachael, Giada and Valerie Bertinelli, who has hinted that it was not her choice to cancel her show or be removed from Kid's Baking Championship. Rachael ended her talk show in 2023 and has turned up on A&E with cooking and decorating shows so it's not like she didn't want to do more cooking shows. Giada seems to have left voluntarily after being "burned out" by so many decades on FN. But who knows what the truth is?

Rachael did go back to FN about 5 years ago and did a short season of 30 MM. I think she left there of her own accord, devoting the bulk of her time building the talk show (which I hated). The A&E specials started at the end of the talk show's run, and she seems firmly entrenched there now. 

I do agree about Valerie being forced out and Giada leaving voluntarily.

It will be interesting to see how they proceed without Anne. Not a single mention of Anne in the press release. And as always, "celebrities." I've heard of two of them!

I agree that Anne was super competitive, but I have always thought that she was a very good teacher. I think the contestants learned a lot.

There's a lot in the above article but it doesn't say why Anne is out.

I thought I watched reality shows but I've heard of only a half dozen of the ones listed (and never watched any of them) and not a single one of the people.
