Graham's guests include Saoirse Ronan, Oscar-nominated for her role in Lady Bird, Eric McCormack and Debra Messing, who are reunited in the new series of Will and Grace, and comedian and All Together Now host Rob Beckett. Plus music from Keala Settle, who performs the Oscar-nominated This is Me from The Greatest Showman.

Jeezuz, what has Debra Messing done to her face?  I'm assuming it's the botox that causes her forehead to overhang the rest of her face (like The Hulk/Cro Magnon), creating a shadow on the bridge of her nose.

I seriously thought she had a bloody nose at one point, that shadow was so weird.

I liked the song but once the singer started with her boo hoo I'm famous I was so over her.

Keala is pretty awesome, amazingly talented and well respected in the theatre.  She wasn't boo hooing at all.  Broadway is much more diverse than Hollywood, and accepting of all shapes and sizes.  Broadway only cares that you have talent, because you can't fake that on stage, and lots of pretty boys/girls that star in Hollywood movies couldn't cut in live theatre.  The fact that her first film role is as a circus freak is telling, and she had no doubt convinced herself she would never appear in film.

This was a very good couch, I thought. It seemed like everyone was genuinely enjoying one another. The pictures of 15-year-old Eric McCormack and Rob Beckett were hilarious. McCormack did look 32, hee. He and I are of a similar age, and while I had Marcia Brady hair at that age, by the time I was a senior in college I basically had that haircut. (It was the early '80s, okay?) Thank goodness I will never be on the GNS and have that mortifying picture shown worldwide.

I thought it was weird Keala Settle couldn't talk about the Oscars. Why is having to rehearse a top secret? There are often pictures of presenters at the rehearsal.

I didn't hear any boo-hooing either.

I thought she was being a tad melodramatic.  It's her first Academy Awards, I'll give her a pass.  Otherwise, she was delightful.

Yeah, whole couch was engaging and fun, this was one of the better shows of the current season. Poor Rob Beckett and that horrifying 15-year-old photo though! I hope Graham cleared that with him before airing it on international television.

I'm glad to hear Keala will be performing "ThisIs Me" at the Oscars. That erases any slight regret I might have had about not seeing a musical about PT Barnum (who was a successful 60-year-old politician and huckster who looked like Jim Broadbent when he started in the circus biz, not some poor starving Bohemian idealist who looked and sang like Hugh Jackman).

I wasn't absolutely thrilled with this couch. I'd never heard of the comedian, and he didn't really impress me. Plus, I had a hard time understanding him all the time.

I like Saoirse Ronan, but she seemed a little unamused by some of the joking around at times.

I absolutely LOVE that song, and Keala Settle was great performing it. 'The Greatest Showman' is so entertaining. Anyway, I did find it interesting that someone in the entertainment business would apparently have low self-esteem, but the way you explain it makes sense.

I've always heard show biz folk are narcissists with low self-esteem.  They feel they're the lowest form of human life - that the whole world revolves around!

I loved Graham's shocked reaction to the Madonna story McCormack and Messing told. There's no way she didn't know their names—I'm sure it was a power play on her part. It might be their show, but she's Madonna, dammit. The flowers afterward were another way to make the point, as well as make sure any retelling of the story has a happy ending.
