biakbiak October 8, 2017 Share October 8, 2017 I really did not like the defense attorney. The case seemed clear cut, I am glad they didn't spend more than just a sentence on the Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt given that it was mentioned in the blurb. 4 Link to comment
partofme October 8, 2017 Share October 8, 2017 I'm curious about the numbering here. My tv called this season 30 episode 2. I wasn't convinced this was first degree murder. Link to comment
ByaNose October 8, 2017 Share October 8, 2017 I thought it was interesting that neither of Virginia’s children came to trial to support her. I think she was laying it on a little thick with the ragged look with the hair and no make up look. I believe she always needed a man and didn’t want this man leaving her. Also, she lied from the get go. I think she did cut herself when she was in the integration room, too. 4 Link to comment

And the line (paraphrasing), "We will show, not from my personal knowledge, that Viagra takes a while to kick in...." Look, old man lawyer, no one wants to even think about your boner so STFU with that. 7 Link to comment

One Tough Cookie October 11, 2017 Share October 11, 2017 I could have convicted her in one hot second. Unbelievable from the get-go. And as was pointed out above, where were the children? 2 Link to comment

Ohmo October 15, 2017 Share October 15, 2017 I also thought she did it. I understand that he had a temper, but Virginia was unstable. The thing with the door was big for me, as were the phone calls to the daughter. She was recalling actual words and bits of conversation, and they seemed completely plausible and genuine, not like the daughter was searching for them. The key fab was another biggie. If it could be put back together intact with no bits or pieces, that suggests not only premeditation to me, but cunning, and that makes Virginia one dangerous women. I think she was hoping that people would believe that she was a "poor sick waif" of a thing, but that is not always the case. I know someone like that (wish I didn't, but I do). Unstable and cunning but is able to turn on the "poor me--I'm helpless" routine in the blink of an eye, and people believe her. This person has not done anything criminal and hopefully never will, but Virginia reminded me very much of her. I'm glad the jury convicted her. Link to comment
