I don’t understand why Mark and Caroline voted for Raymond instead of Feras. Feras has much better odds of winning. Why not put him in the fire making competition? Unless they thought he’d beat Caroline.

Yes I think she had much more chance of beating Ray than Feras.  Although she did pretty well and Ray was awful at it.

What a season! It was sad seeing Ray go down in flames, I liked his cunning, but he had the weakest game of the F4 and didn’t look like he even practiced fire. Good move by Mark to know Feras was lying and to send Ray to fire to weaken Feras. 

This had to have been the best F3 of any season if any country I have watched. The 3 wheels of torture looked so biblical, especially with the Jesus looking Feras in the middle on his Feras wheel and the fire below and I have to give kudos to the editing team on how beautifully ominously they introduce the challenges. So happy my boy Feras won that necklace when I doubted my hopes for him the last 2 episodes, he dug deep and pulled that off when it was non-negotiable, that was the 500K necklace and right decision to take Caro.

Not the best FTC. I swear I could have written their FTC speeches and answers better than them. They both had so many big moves but didn’t air them when they should have had it all laid out at the jury’s feet. I was expecting Feras to do so after he said 2TCs ago that he had a lot of big moves that the jury didn’t know about because he played a more shielded game to Kirby but he did a marginally better job at it than Caro and we at home got to see his moves that made it a well deserved win by the Smiling Assassin to reign the game. I’m surprised the vote was unanimous. He would not have won if FTC was an F3 instead of an F2 because Mark would have been very clear with his game.

Yes that looked amazing didn't it, and extra cruel with the fire to make it even hotter.

Yeah both were pretty weak at FTC but Feras pulled it out at the end I thought and we don't know how much was edited out.

Agreed I would have hated a Caroline win and am glad it was a clean sweep so she got taken down a peg from her imo unjustified high opinion of her own game play.

I finally finished the season and I thought it was a great one. This is how Survivor should be, 24 people, 46 days, give them rice and beans to help them so they can be good at challenges and on strategy. I find US Survivor of 26 days a kids' game.

I had a huge problem with how much attention certain people got compared to others that didn't. I mean, have we even seen more than 3 head interviews of Raymond who made it to final 4? The way people were given attention made it obvious who makes it far and who doesn't. Everything was about and around Feras. He is a good player, he deserves it way more than previous winners.

It's a given we'll see Mark and Kirby in all stars season.

Feras was the clear winner of the final 3 (for me). Mark was on the wrong side of things too often, and did stuff that made his own alliance distrust him. Caroline was never in contention. As for Ray, I have never seen any player so happy to just be there to support another player in winning!

Very entertaining season. And done without a bazillion idols and advantages and twists happening all the time. Just a few to keep it intertesting, but for the most part, tribals were about alliances and strategies. I fear US survivor will never be great again.

I was watching the show Strife (2023) and I saw a guy in a suit who looked and sounded familiar, and what do you know? it was Jonathan LA Paglia himself. It was so weird seeing him anywhere else than survivor and with clothes other than his usual short and shirt.

Nina (from Blood vs Water, and Heroes vs Villains) is competing on a new show called The Anonymous. The show premieres on Aug 19 in the US (episodes should be available on Peacock the day after airing).

Just watched the premiere of the new season. I thought it was entertaining, even if I didn’t love there ultimate outcome. But yikes, production is kind of burying a few of the prominent men this season as arrogant.

Damn Kate fell to the stupid threat and Nash, Russell 2.0 got his way in the end. Interesting fire from the start twist and I liked it, didn’t want to hear the repeated suffering of no fire every season. Hear that Jeff, just let them have it instead of the opposite of taking it away for losing immunity. Some interesting characters, I was entertained. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

Nash and Kent are my two most hated so far. Kent burning the hat and then blaming it on Myles was gross and frankly felt racist.

Indy was too much of an alpha to be an outsider in the Witchy Coven. At least Kent didn’t get his way like Nash did the night before, for someone who prides himself in reading a room, he’s pretty bad at it, not that he gives a fuck, coz he’s a multimillionaire with a massive ego, dontcha know. There are quite a few pompous people who are more into making big moves and being big personalities for entertainment at the risk of their game, that’s just an observation of the game, not a complaint as a viewer, I’m still entertained.

Lol @ Zen going all Bubba on the rice & beans like Bubba from Bubba Gump Shrimp. Not lol is losing Zen to injury, I liked him, he wasn’t as cocky and was more self aware than I thought he’d be from his intro. I expect or hope he’ll be back for another season. 

AJ and Paulie got some time today and it was good to see some logic compared to the stupidity of Nash and Kent who think they’re the next King George, but King George, Golden God David and Smiling Assassin Feras never tooted their own horn in vain, all their moves were purposeful, strategic and mostly successful. That being said, AJ nearly burned himself at the Wiches stake, I was so sure at TC he was a goner. if AJ and Paulie make it to merge, I hope I can tell them apart. So long Kent, you will not be missed. @Michichick, your wish came true a day later. Good 1st week imo. See y’all next week.

So glad Kent wasn't spared elimination because Zen had to leave -which was a bummer. Kent was realy chewing the scenery, and not in a fun way. 

Speaking of King David, @dizzyd, He popped up on something called Deal or No Deal Island in the U.S. So I had to check it out to see him. The show turned out to be too painful for me to watch, sadly, but David is still looking good and figuring out how to win.

I’m glad the campfire going out with no flint became an issue, maybe production put it out when they were at challenge or asleep just to make it a thing. 

Good on Paulie for keeping that idol under wraps. I like how he dealt with Nash too. I won’t say I like him or anyone else so I don’t jinx them like Zen. 

That was a Machiavellian comeback from AJ on Logan by getting Rich involved, I like that he could adapt fast after burning himself last episode and getting Rich, who the coven wants out anyway to do all his dirty work, let’s see if it works. I’m not usually a fan of gender divides in the game and if there was one, I’d probably root for a smart female alliance but in this case, I’d be cool either way and enjoy the journey so watching the Bomb Squad be explosive or self implode.

That was an interesting reward challenge and a good reward. Why couldn’t they use the Barbie coals to relight their campfire?

And it is proven that Myles can kick, loved that for him! Otoh, how embarrassing that the soccer coach PD couldn’t. That was a really fun IC.

And finally Brawn went to the Survivor pharmacy and we got rid of the Nash rash. To his credit, he was imo marginally better than Kent. Hope neither of them is invited back.

I love this show for all of the scrambling that happens. Even though they originally said Kent last episode, I legit thought the vote could have flipped. So glad to be rid of Kent.

And I’m not sorry to see Nash go this time around, either. I thought he made it dead obvious that he didn’t have an idol. He was flashing it around obnoxiously when he really had one, no way he’d keep it hidden when his ass is on the line. Props for trying, I guess.

The Bomb Squad turned out to be a dud, they didn’t even get off the mark,no bang, all bust, but they still think they’re strong. I don’t get how these guys ended up on Brains. But I also like that the Coven is not as strong as they think they are. After a predictable outcome in episode 4 and all the talk of a strong coven and a new bro squad, I was hoping for a full swap at the start to break up these alliances. That being said, AJ was successful in getting the target off his back for now and onto Rich and didn’t even have to use his newly acquired idol. I wish JLP didn’t tell them about the 1 person switcheroo before voting. Ally or any of the guys besides AJ and Myles were perfect choices to take to the reward, they’re all very chatty and Ally divulged plenty. Hope a full out swap happens soon. I’m happy with the season so far but this cast is not living up to BvB1, but there were legends there.

TG the gender alliances on Brains are done. 

Not another duel challenge! Hopefully they’ll reduce these after this season.

Dammit, I can’t not love Paulie! I hope I didn’t jinx him. 

I’m glad to see that smug Ally rat be voted out after all the mouth running she’s done. She always thought she knew everything and she never did, she didn’t even get right who voted for her. It was funny to see Mad Max blow his advantage and not get what he wanted. And I also like when Logan doesn’t get her way. She acts like she’s in a democracy as long as her alliance goes her way. I like everyone on the graduate alliance. 

I have very few opinions of those on the Brawn tribe besides preferring them as a whole in challenges so looking forward to seeing how everyone is split next week. 

I love the multiple episodes per week of AU. If US did that, our seasons would be over in 3 weeks. Till next week. Correction: till tomorrow for 48.

I’m thoroughly entertained so far this season, but this might be some of the worst gameplay as a whole I’ve seen in a while by at least half of the players! 

I want to like Laura, but my god. Someone wanting to have their own agency (Zara) and realizing that what’s best for their own game isn’t what’s best for yours? Doesn’t make the other player illogical or emotional. Rich does absolutely nothing for Zara’s game, and I don’t know why Laura doesn’t see that.

I was a worried for Myles, so I guess without realizing it, he has been growing on me. His quirkiness seems genuine whereas I think some of these people were trying too hard to be TV characters. Glad to see Kalen (sp?) had Myles' back all along. I think Kalen has been playing a good "What, me playing? I'm just here to go camping!" game.

A satisfying episode 7 for me. I like the swap breakup. Geez, Paulie and AJ on the same tribe. They need to get a dna test coz during their 1/1, it was like looking at mirror images. Is it just me or does Karin seem to be getting a winner’s edit? I like her, kaelyn, aj, Paulie, Myles. I’d probably like more on the other tribe but they keep winning ICs so I just don’t know them yet. So Max found an idol and did his happy dance, hope he uses it as successfully as he did his advantage. And finally, bye Rich and his bomb squad.

Myles talks too much, so he’s slipping in my ranks. Aj had too many THs touting his charming game so he’s slipped a peg or two. Talking of pegs, Paulie on the pegs absolutely won me over and I cackled at the divine music and clouds parting when he was in his crucifix stand. Short episode, no reward, but the 2nd half was extremely entertaining. I’m glad Karin and Paulie are still there. Aj has put such a massive target on his back with his public Hostage plan, nice plan but people don’t do well with threats and even his OG Brains aren’t going to want to keep him once they have enough numbers. Also why would the other side agree to throw challenges? It would only put their OG Brains (Zara, Myles, Max and Laura) at risk and the other 5 are tight and don’t like losing. That being said, a devious plan is entertaining and he seems smart enough to have more than 1 plan. The season is spicing up after the first few weeks of Nash and Kent and Rich.
