Neil Gaiman confirms that season 3 starts shooting in January

That being said, you know, Dead Boy Detectives comes out in 10 days. I’ve seen half of Sandman Season 2, and it’s astonishing. I’m writing Good Omens Season 3, and we start shooting that in January. So I’m making stuff. And I’m definitely feeling that, OK, the ship is still sailing. But the boom is over. I think the boom would have been over anyway. I feel like the strike, you know, our strike and the actors strike in a lot of cases became an excuse for the streamers in particular, to just go, ‘Oh, we actually bought more than we will ever need. And maybe we can let some of the stuff go.’ And maybe we can, you know, so I think that happened as well. They’re trying to reinvent television right now. And I don’t know what it’s gonna be like, five years from now. But I do know that a writer who can come up with stories, who has a great story that people will care about, will have a job, and that’s the important thing and especially for the young ones.”

I've been rewatching season two. I love Crowley's reaction to seeing Gabriel. It's so funny and so well done.

I love how adorable Crowley is helping to create the Universe. 

The yellow Bentley. Ariaphale asking Crowley if he sold any of his books. Forgiving Maggie not paying so he can keep getthing his records.

I also love Crowley acting like he killed Job's goats only to be given away by a goat. It's really interesting that he stopping Mrs. Job from cursing God. He runs in that very moment telling her no that never ends well. For all his feelings about God he doesn't want her to go down the same road he did.

‘Good Omens’: Production Paused On Amazon Drama From Neil Gaiman

Great, there goes one of the few reasons to live out of the fucking window. Can't we have something nice for once?

Today Deadline is reporting that "we understand" Gaiman has made an offer to Amazon to "step back" so that the season can continue.  So maybe we'll get S3 after all?

I wasn't thrilled with S2 so I don't care all that much about If/When S3 happens. That being said, I'll never understand the attitude on Social Media of calling to cancel S3 to punish Gaimen for his alledged actions. There are so many people involved in a production and just fire them all because of 1 bad apple? 🙄

It's the problem with people who are perpetually online and lose their grip on reality. They look for something to vent their righteous anger at, instead of doing something positive, like help the victims. There are several other examples of this behavior, usually political.

I'm assuming the delays are about finding a replacement for Gaiman and then production will continue.

This is gonna be my new approach. Only watch the shows once they are ended and I've read that they had satisfying conclusion.

The only down side is I do like talking about shows here as they are airing, but I'd probably be a little more picky.
