David T. Cole February 21, 2014 Share February 21, 2014 You post the top three "people who bought this" items from a show's DVD (that's not other items from the same show) and we guess what the vector show was. The person who guesses right posts the next challenge. I'll go first. If you liked Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead and Justified you'll gonna love _____. 1 Link to comment
David T. Cole February 21, 2014 Author Share February 21, 2014 Tara got it! Drugs + unkempt creatures + outlaws = Sons Of Anarchy I guess Link to comment
April Bloodgate February 23, 2014 Share February 23, 2014 If you liked Parks and Recreation, The Office, and Community, you'll love ___________. Link to comment
David T. Cole February 23, 2014 Author Share February 23, 2014 Do you love Homeland, House of Cards and The Newsroom? Then run, don't walk to _____! Link to comment
Sheena February 25, 2014 Share February 25, 2014 Do you love Homeland, House of Cards and The Newsroom? Then run, don't walk to _____! The West Wing? Link to comment
April Bloodgate February 25, 2014 Share February 25, 2014 I feel like Sheena's answer makes way more sense and this only fits with Homeland, but I'll guess 24 . Link to comment
David T. Cole February 25, 2014 Author Share February 25, 2014 The better clue ending would have been: Walk, don't run to ______. Link to comment
David T. Cole February 25, 2014 Author Share February 25, 2014 No but the right idea there. Link to comment
April Bloodgate February 25, 2014 Share February 25, 2014 I will laugh if it's Walker, Texas Ranger . 1 Link to comment
David T. Cole February 25, 2014 Author Share February 25, 2014 Hah no but that would be awesome. Link to comment
April Bloodgate February 28, 2014 Share February 28, 2014 More than 48 hours with no guesses. Maybe we need another clue. Link to comment
aradia22 June 5, 2014 Share June 5, 2014 If you liked One Tree Hill, 90210, and Pretty Little Liars, then we think you'll love ___________ Link to comment
MarkHB June 5, 2014 Share June 5, 2014 @aradia22 I don't think it was too hard, considering I only ever watched one of those shows :) But let's try this one... (heh heh heh) If you liked The Greatest American Hero, Police Squad and Spy Hard, then you'll love __________________ . Link to comment
aradia22 June 5, 2014 Share June 5, 2014 Well, that's impossible for me as I've only even heard of one of those shows. Born in the 90's. I'm going to go for a wild guess and say Cop Rock . Link to comment
MarkHB June 5, 2014 Share June 5, 2014 Well, that's impossible for me as I've only even heard of one of those shows. Born in the 90's. I'm going to go for a wild guess and say Cop Rock . (Spy Hard was actually a movie.) Nope! (Out of curiosity, which was the one you had heard of?) Link to comment
aradia22 June 5, 2014 Share June 5, 2014 The Greatest American Hero. I think the theme song was on one of those countdown shows I used to watch. Link to comment
MarkHB June 5, 2014 Share June 5, 2014 @The Crazed Spruce, nope! While I loved The Greatest American Hero, and get my hopes up every time rumors of a reboot come up ("This just in: Rumors abound that William Katt wants a role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice!" :D ), you really should give Police Squad a try if you like absurdist humor! ("Special guest star: Georg Stanford Brown!") Link to comment
MarkHB June 6, 2014 Share June 6, 2014 Here's a hint: The show in question bears a much stronger resemblance to Police Squad than it does The Greatest American Hero. Link to comment
AimingforYoko June 7, 2014 Share June 7, 2014 If you like Wonderfalls, Pushing Daisies and Dead Like me, you'll love this underappreciated gem. (Not to give it away or anything, but I will say the show is not a Bryan Fuller show) Link to comment
aradia22 June 8, 2014 Share June 8, 2014 Damn it, I was going to say Hannibal. OK, going off the dead people thing I'm going to throw out Reaper and Deadbeat though I don't think they're right. Link to comment
The Crazed Spruce June 9, 2014 Share June 9, 2014 Don't know why it sprang to mind, but Being Erika ? Link to comment
AimingforYoko June 11, 2014 Share June 11, 2014 Nowhere near that dark. It features feats of derring-do....and art. Link to comment
aradia22 June 12, 2014 Share June 12, 2014 Art, huh? My brain goes to art thief, art gallery owner, and artist. There are way too many artists for one to come to mind. Gallery owner is one of those professions like architect that I ignore unless it's part of the plot. So I'm going to take another wild guess and go with Leverage . Link to comment
AimingforYoko June 12, 2014 Share June 12, 2014 Good guess, right tone, but too grounded. If the show in question is going to pull three Fuller shows, you have to think more fantastic. Would it help your brain if I helped it go to art....crawl? Link to comment
aradia22 June 12, 2014 Share June 12, 2014 I'm throwing in the towel. I don't watch a lot of shows with male protagonists and I'm starting to think this is something I've never seen/heard of. Link to comment
Actionmage June 12, 2014 Share June 12, 2014 The tv version of John Woo's Once a Thief? Link to comment
AimingforYoko June 12, 2014 Share June 12, 2014 Considering the ratings this show got, it's not surprising nobody's getting this. The origin of this show is a comic book by one of the writers on Lost. Link to comment
aradia22 June 12, 2014 Share June 12, 2014 It can't be Warehouse 13 because that doesn't have a male lead. Once Upon a Time got great ratings in its first season and has nothing to do with art. Comic book, huh? The only recent flops I can think of off the top of my head are No Ordinary Family and The Cape . Link to comment
