phoenyx November 1, 2016 Share November 1, 2016 Westworld has just released 5 musical pieces from the series on Itunes: http://screencrush.com/westworld-music-itunes-piano-covers/ I thought I'd make this thread for people to comment on any of the musical pieces put out on iTunes or make a wishlist of musical pieces from the series that they'd like to see on iTunes soon. Personally, I'm pining for this one: 1 Link to comment
Uncle JUICE November 1, 2016 Share November 1, 2016 (edited) On Youtube by way of Vulture http://www.vulture.com/2016/11/listen-to-westworlds-instrumental-covers-radiohead-rolling-stones.html For a long time now, my bucketlist has featured "Ride a horse at top speed in the wilderness." That Rolling Stones cover is now what I want to listen to while doing so. STFU, it's MY bucket list. :) I can't believe I didn't recognize Black Hole Sun, which had to be on the player piano. Gobi November 1, 2016 Share November 1, 2016 I'm really hoping for Theme For An Imaginary Western by Jack Bruce/Pete Brown. The version by Mountain is probably the one most people have heard. The original is a keyboard oriented (or should that be occidentalled?) song, so a player piano version would be perfect. Link to comment

Is this something that has played in the series or something you're hoping gets played in the series? This is the ending music for Episode 5, divinely haunting... Link to comment

LilWharveyGal November 3, 2016 Share November 3, 2016 In episode 5 when William and Dolores were having their conversation and the "real world" came up, was that Clair de Lune being played in the background? Link to comment

Hadn't even noticed it, thanks for pointing that out :-). I just checked, it's definitely there, string (guitar?) version :-) Edited November 3, 2016 by phoenyx Link to comment
Cherpumple November 4, 2016 Share November 4, 2016 Ford is also playing Clair de Lune on the piano in the bar right before his conversation with the MiB. 2 Link to comment
Coxfires November 22, 2016 Share November 22, 2016 I loved Radiohead's "No alarms and no surprises" of episode 2 when Maeve starts to experience her own change 2 Link to comment
GreyBunny November 24, 2016 Share November 24, 2016 Enjoyed hearing "Something I Can Never Have" by Nine Inch Nails during the robot orgy scene in Pariah. Link to comment
Lingo November 24, 2016 Share November 24, 2016 They should do a cover of this song: It even features Ted! Or how about this one: Man, I forgot how freaky that video is. My name is Ted, and one day, I'll be dead yo yo. 1 Link to comment
arc November 25, 2016 Share November 25, 2016 The show's composer, Ramin Djawadi, also composes for Game of Thrones and Person of Interest, among other things. I gave the POI s2 soundtrack a listen and while it's obviously not identical, there are some bits that sound sorta Westworld-y. I guess they really just sound Djawadi-ish. 1 Link to comment
arc December 5, 2016 Share December 5, 2016 Full soundtrack is on Spotify now, at least in the US: https://open.spotify.com/album/2poAUFGkHetMzM4xzLBVhY 1 Link to comment
Bill1978 December 5, 2016 Share December 5, 2016 Full soundtrack is available to purchase on iTunes, well in Australia anyway. 1 Link to comment
arc December 5, 2016 Share December 5, 2016 I will say, I don't care much for the player piano pieces, because the player piano sounds somewhat tinny to me. But also, except for "Black Hole Sun", I didn't recognize a single one of these covers, because I don't know any of the original versions of these songs. Rock and indie rock just aren't my bag. 1 Link to comment
