call me ishmael October 26, 2016 Share October 26, 2016 (edited) If they want it to be interesting then this should be the season where they make the "experts" marry someone at first sight and see how they do. Evil Queen October 26, 2016 Share October 26, 2016 I can bet if they had to do that we would see Pepper walk out on her's since she has before. *rollseyes* I can't imagine this show going past one more season though. Its such a crapfest and seems each season gets worse and worse. Which I wouldn't be surprised if its why they are doing a "spin off" with setting up David and Vanessa with Second Chances or whatever its called. SMH 1 Link to comment

Gem 10 October 26, 2016 Share October 26, 2016 Me three .. I'll watch again like a fool. They should really eliminate those experts tho. And get rid of those stupid exercises. The best part of this show is the blog and all the bloggers. I would miss everyone. 3 Link to comment
Snarklepuss October 26, 2016 Share October 26, 2016 Yeah I fully own the fact that I will watch this again, train wreck or no train wreck. 4 Link to comment
Wings October 26, 2016 Share October 26, 2016 (edited) I would like to see all the couples socialize together. It cannot get worse so why not try it? Talking together about this shared experience would be interesting and perhaps helpful to all. It would be fun if someone fell for another, too. Juicy!! This would create some drama that is desperately needed. Edited October 26, 2016 by wings707 1 Link to comment

Have everyone from all the seasons come for a "get together" and have them tell us what they are up to now. Are they still single, married, have kids, etc. I'm especially interested in the New York season .. Like how is Jacqueline and basement Ryan doing, and Davina, the other girl who always served sushi, the Atlanta ones, David and what's her name, Tres, etc .. All of them. That would make a great "Reunion" that everyone would watch. 2 hours ago, wings707 said: I would like to see all the couples socialize together. It cannot get worse so why not try it? Jellybeans October 26, 2016 Share October 26, 2016 I like the series but hate the editing. I wish they would just try to tell the stories without deception. 5 Link to comment
Evil Queen October 26, 2016 Share October 26, 2016 Doing it as a reunion type of manner I could see...maybe. Not sure some would want to do it but you never know. Now I do not want to see them mix them up during a season though. I don't want to see extra drama tossed into things in that manner at all. IMO its bad enough they match for trying to get drama out of these people and its because they think the viewers want just drama. For me I could do without it and the matches for those reasons. I want to see couples matched that could have a chance of really working out. I just don't think these producers and pathetic "experts" get that if they did truly match for the right reasons they could end up with natural drama still for those that need that. Reusing things said and the THs, etc is just cheap and lazy. We viewers are not stupid and see how bad it is...which they do not get. 1 Link to comment
Jellybeans October 26, 2016 Share October 26, 2016 I remember a little blurb showing Nick and Sonia at Home Depot. I would like to see those kind of things instead of rehashed/fake dramas and suspect storylines. Maybe we should be put in charge of editing. 1 Link to comment

The show will go on and on and on! It is the best kept train wreck out there! Not many people watch FYI (I never did) but I'll watch the next season. The Bachelor is also a disaster for success and look how long it has lasted! 2 Link to comment
Wings October 28, 2016 Share October 28, 2016 (edited) How about this. Take everyone who applies, weed them down to a group fit for consumption and do speed dating. They then choose who they are drawn to and willing to marry. That removes their ridiculous science. Everyone has a bio card you can read so they can avoid such things as bus living if it does not call to you and pets. They can keep the title. And for fuck sake pick up the pace. ETA. The bio cards are written by production after an extensive interview so nothing crucial is left unsaid. Edited October 28, 2016 by wings707 3 Link to comment

Unless you are Heather and Derek and quit early. Agree it does change the entire show. The show is not about these people even coming contact with each other before marrying. They do not meet until they are at the alter. That is always how its been done and to change it would make no sense at all. Just as there is a reason these couples are not put together during the season as well. Those are things we do not need to see. What needs to change, and has been the biggest complaint, is that they are not matching these couples to make real matches that could maybe last and have a chance but for the drama they could get from the matches. If they just truly matched couples that had things in common that were not "fix me" issues or to see what kind of max drama might be made than these couples would have a chance. As well as getting rid of these joke "experts" that have no clue but to read the same script over and over from each season and to bully these people to stick it out. They never deal with the true problems that do pop up and see what is really going on. Sadly though noting will change with how this show is done and as long as it is being done they will cast for the max drama they can get and nothing more. 1 Link to comment

The bio cards are written by production after an extensive interview so nothing crucial is left unsaid. I have been saying for a few seasons now that they should show the "fit for consumption" group photos and profiles of each other (no names) with all their answers to the important questions like where and how they want to live, whether they want kids, are OK with smoking, etc., etc., and let them choose a smaller group out of that group that they wouldn't mind being matched with based on that information. If there are mutual matches they should go with them, if not the "experts" should continue until they find 3 sets of couples that all chose each other (kind of like some dating sites). If the "fit for consumption" group is big enough they should be able to find 3 couples that all chose each other. The candidates chosen will know that it's one of the people that they said "yes" to but nothing more specific than that. The person will still be a total stranger when they meet so it won't be that much different. 5 Link to comment

Wings October 28, 2016 Share October 28, 2016 (edited) I think this is a good concept for a production company that is already in the reality biz and could give it more wisdom and skill. I like this idea. Forget the marriage part, have a commitment ceremony tied to a contract to stick it out for the duration. We can do this together, Snaggle. All I would require is 500k, and gourmet low carb meals. I am thinking Emmy. You in? Edited October 28, 2016 by wings707 2 Link to comment

Yet if you look at comments on some articles, and I would imagine there are comments on SM as well, there are some viewers wondering how to be on the show or if they will do it near their cities. Why one would EVER want to do this show or any reality show is beyond me....more so after you see the mess that it is and how bad they match and why. SMH 1 Link to comment
Marsupial November 1, 2016 Share November 1, 2016 Maybe, instead of the experts, they should have each person's closest friends and family members, or even coworkers, match them? People who know them well and see them regularly, know their dating history and their dislikes. Surely they would do better than the so-called experts...hard to see how anyone could do worse! In all the show's seasons there have really only been two successful couples, Courtney and Jason from S1 and Tom and Lily from the current one. Link to comment

Yet sometimes with friends or more so family its not always the best either and more so what they want you with so that could go down the drain too. Maybe having more the friends do it would be better though and keep the family out of it. LOL Yet heck any of us could probably do it better and give better advice to these couples than the so called "experts" ever could. I am disgusted with them being there still too. Honestly if they should have had fresh ones with each season IMO. More so with the city changes. These 2 new ones just aren't cutting it and Pepper is a HUGE joke who thinks to highly of herself. Really maybe they should have put up a place for viewers to vote on the couples matched together instead....than again how many viewers would vote in the worse way to just see drama over good matches that might last? call me ishmael November 2, 2016 Share November 2, 2016 Another idea, given how successful the experts have been, would be to do it like the NBA lottery and give each contestant a little plastic ball and pick them out in pairs. The odds of success would probably go up. 3 Link to comment
