When is it on? Yes, I can always tell when they're in Canada. First, the architecture of the houses is different. That's when I listen closely to the way the homeowners talk.

I watched the premiere.   I can't believe the homeowners chose the way they did, I wouldn't have chosen that.  Page was fun, banter with David was pretty similar to Hillary.   I like the Canadian episodes, the homes are so different from NC, and the prices are even more.

Page wasn’t my favorite on Rock the Block, but she was okay here. She and David worked well together. That said her design work doesn’t come close to Hilary’s.  All of Hilary’s designs were impeccably done.  I found Page’s to be just okay.  I am surprised they chose to stay.

That was... strange. It was odd for me to watch someone new recite lines that felt like they were written for Hilary and her established bickering dynamic with David. Like watching an old school daytime soap where the overvoice says "the role of Hilary is now played by Page!"

And in the end the couple chose to stay because they apparently hadn't realized on their own that they could rearrange the furniture in their daughter's room so a bed would fit after all? Good thing they called in the experts for that?

I'm hoping the show will find a new rhythm in a few more episodes.

I just can't get over the fact that her given name is Page TURNER. Who does that to a child?

It must've been a lack of money issue for them to stay in that house. Even with the renovations, it still looked cramped with lots of stairclimbing.

I didn't like the wife, Nikki. At least she was on board with moving. And the whole you must take down this wall but I don't want to see the powder room behind it was silly. Paige was able to accomplish a lot for $115k. Guess it must have been a newer house since they didn't run into the usual structural/electrical/plumbing/infestation issues.

Page is no Hilary, but she seems to like David more—or at least she’s easier on him than Hilary was and so he’s not so defensive.

Page and Matteo and their 2 million dollar house that was all about the property.When their reno budget hit $290k because they were upgrading the infrastructure—all new windows and HVAC—it was clear they were staying. So no, the new place wasn’t as nice as what David found them, but it was very nice and on that land!

I thought the second house David showed them was the best. And it was nice to see a pool that was fully fenced. 

It was pretty ridiculous all of the work they kept dumping on Paige. They were definitely staying. Even though there was a lock box on their front door when David and Paige left.
