Madding crowd February 13, 2015 Share February 13, 2015 Watched the first two episodes. What an odd mixture of pretty, professional women, sleazy drunks and born again virgins. Why in the world would Shawn be interested in either Victoria or the other tattooed chick that the pastor saved.? How does he get to know these women without a cocktail party? Odd set up. quetzal February 20, 2015 Share February 20, 2015 This show is giving me what I need for the moment since the Flavor and Rock of Love shows have been phased out. I was really impressed at the attractiveness of the women. I agree that Gilbert and James were true contenders for Shawn. I fell asleep on the last episode when his mom comes but I'll have to make sure to watch it again. I'm surprised more people aren't watching. Link to comment
tessa February 23, 2015 Share February 23, 2015 His mom is going to be the hit of the show. It kills me that on all these reality shows - a lot of the pretty, smart, mature women are let go first and they keep the ones that will cause drama to keep the viewers watching. But adding his mom is a great twist. Link to comment
announcergirl February 27, 2015 Share February 27, 2015 I just started to watch the episodes. I watched the virgin one and now "Honor Thy Mama." First comment, dude is actually kinda cute. It took me a second for him to grow on me. He could get it. Secondly, what is up with sending text messages to eliminate the women? How cowardly. I'm sure that wasn't his doing, but producers. But it stinks. Thirdly, who is this LOUD MOUTH BIOTCH talking about all the ladies hairlines and who bit the apple to end one of the girl's date? OMG, she is so unlady-like. She gots ta go. Fourthly, about the lady who says she is a virgin because she has never been with a man, only women, ummmmmm, isn't this something you should let him know? I mean, you're a lesbian. Why should he continue to waste his time. Fifth, that darned pastor seems nice enough, but he creeps me out. Like he'd be all over these ladies if they camera wasn't there taping. That wasn't nice. <slaps my own wrist> Sixth, his mom is too much. I like her enough, but she is too much. She is like two steps away from being Mama Jones or Keisha Cole's mom. Ok, that is a gross exaggeration. She just shouldn't be this darned involved. Be like Flava Flav's mom and just come to eat chicken. Ok, I guess you can't have all these numbers without a "finally," so, finally, I got nothing. This is ratchet. I like it though. <BIG CHEESY GRIN> Link to comment
CoyoteBlue March 6, 2015 Share March 6, 2015 Nes, honey, you're on a show where women do everything but jello wrestle for the attention of a man. If you're expecting to find lasting lesbian love, this is the wrong place. It's like everyone's trying to outdo each other in creating the most dramatic character to get screen time. Yeah, Mama too. And Shawn doesn't come off as all that to fight over. Link to comment
announcergirl March 13, 2015 Share March 13, 2015 Shawn has definitely grown on me. I now find, yes, I'm gonna say it: I now find Shawn hot. Said it and now slinking away. One more thing, that darned Mecca is a nut. So is Nes. How is Nes trying to sleep with a girl who is there, as she is, to fall in love with Shawn. Shawn has definitely grown on me. I now find, yes, I'm gonna say it: I now find Shawn hot. Said it and now slinking away. One more thing, that darned Mecca is a nut. So is Nes. spacenutty March 20, 2015 Share March 20, 2015 I hate-watch this show. It's worse than a train wreck :(. Am I the only one who thinks Mecca's title as "socialite" exists only in her head? Link to comment
Madding crowd March 20, 2015 Share March 20, 2015 Shawn is handsome, the preacher is creepy and mama is cool. Still have no idea how he's figuring out who to send home; it seems like he's sent some pretty and nice girls home and is still keeping trashy Angela. Link to comment
announcergirl March 20, 2015 Share March 20, 2015 spacenutty and Madding crowd, I am so glad y'all came to talk! Yes, that Mecca is totally dillusional BUT I don't know how many times I've seen men go for that type, the complete nut, the woman who constantly brings drama. For this reason she probably has a good shot. I mean, she is still here. I don't know how they chose who stays. It sounds like the preacher had a lot to do with pucking. Oops picking not pucking Link to comment

coloradoqt March 27, 2015 Share March 27, 2015 Mecca what is a socialite? is it a career? a title? Honey do you go to school? do you have a job? And to show Shawn she is sleeping in a bunk bed, but is used to sleeping in a queen-sized bed? WTF. Intelligent, classy, attractive women who could be a wife and mate for a millionaire businessman can't be that hard to fine in Atlanta, that the best they can is find these skanks. Imagine a businessman entertaining like businessmen and their wives in his home and out pops one of these as his wife? In the country club? in a restaurant? Shawn if its skanks you want, trek on over to RHWOA. Link to comment
lasandi April 3, 2015 Share April 3, 2015 Well it's finally over. What I don't get is if he cared so much for that 2 nd girl, don't know her name, and he is standing there with tears running down his face, then WHY DIDN'T HE PICK HER! 1 Link to comment
announcergirl April 3, 2015 Share April 3, 2015 lasandi - I agree. I hate "I am following my heart" or "trying to be happy" as a reason for dumping someone. The whole time he was telling her how much he loved her and etc. I kept waiting for him to get to the "but." Why tell #2 he even loved her if he was picking someone else - not to look like the bad guy, that's right. Even more amazing was him getting indignant when she said he basically played with her emotions. He did. And, mind you, I could see him with Jade, his pick, and not the one I just wrote all of this about. They still have to contend with his ex-gf who he sent home and all the ladies he now knows are open to him, who he will probably find on FB after this. 1 Link to comment
coloradoqt April 6, 2015 Share April 6, 2015 I just gotta say I think Shawn is an ass. How do you tell a woman, you love her, you would be hurt if you saw her with another man, then tell her you are following your heart and your heart is with another woman? And expect her to be okay with this? What do you tell the woman, who you are following your heart to? How is she gonna feel when she sees this? And then you put the ring around her neck.WTF. Does Shawn think telling every woman,he could "fall in love" with her, he "could see a future with " her, she has "made him a better man" is pouring out his heart to her? I don't know Jade, but she should think long and hard about marrying this jerk. All of this with Angela, he will be there for her, etc sound to me like he is leaving the door, unlocked and wide open for a later hook-up. Christina E. you might have come out of this as a woman,so I hope you find a man, worthy, cause honi, Shawn ain't.. 1 Link to comment
announcergirl April 7, 2015 Share April 7, 2015 coloradoqt - exactly! Ok one comment about Christina. This is harsh but, not only does she seem mousey like a little girl, but she has those pronoynced eye teeth like a kid. She has got to get that fixed. Shawn has been led astray by whomever coached him on letting women down easy. He is double-talking which leads to later confusion, "but you said..." down the line. I bet he is a Leo. 1 Link to comment

announcergirl May 23, 2016 Share May 23, 2016 They are 16 powerful, beautiful, and successful ladies vying for Stevie's heart, and the privilege to be Mrs. Baggs. According to Heavy.com, the show features a group of feisty and diverse women that include a strong business owner, a former backup dancer for Beyonce, and a 24-year-old virgin, to name a few. Heavy and IB Times detail a bit about what happened in the season premiere: Attorney Erica, 33, hails from Maryland and was off to what looked like a rocky start. 27-year-old Elle is a boutique PR agency owner with a big personality. In addition to her entrepreneurial prowess, she seems to be the entire package being the former Miss Capitol City. Christina is a professional dancer. The 28-year-old Houston native danced with no less than Beyonce and Rihanna and is looking to find her lifetime dance partner. She impressed Stevie with her physique and attention towards her body. Sincerely, 33, is another business owner who manages her own spa. Eyeing a strong man, she’s a tall 5’11” woman who caught Stevie’s attention. The controversial Alexandra is 24. She details falling in love with her gay best friend and following some observation, the San Francisco native was quickly disliked by Stevie’s mom. Techie Rose is 25 and hails from Fort Lauderdale. She’s also pursuing post-graduate studies in Information Systems. Lachia, 29, is looking for her own happy ending. The office manager is tired of being a bridesmaid and wants to tie the knot to her own prince charming. Colby from Richmond, Virginia is a model. The recent college graduate has a musical theater degree. 28-year-old Roxie is a Cali girl through and through. The singer/songwriter enjoys belting tunes about love. VIP host and waitress Victorya looks to be a sleeper contestant. The 24-yer-old is quiet in the first episode but could be a contender as time goes on. One of the ladies that had a great start with Stevie was Jasmine, 24. The customer service rep from the south is a certified nurse’s assistant and dental assistant. Anxious Tiffany, 24, is a New Jersey flight attendant. Unfortunately, she was so nervous she nearly broke down during her first encounter with Stevie. Kia is a go-getter at 35. As a mental health specialist, she is also a part-time model. Kimmy, 32, runs a bit multi-million dollar business in San Antonio. One of the issues with the Southern Belle is how her family may react to her dating a black man. Medgie is the mom of a 1-year-old boy. The 30-year-old made a grand entrance but according to Lola, she’s quite polite. Pre-law student T’Keyah, 23 is a graduate of Criminal Justice. The Florida native wasn’t that visible in the first episode. 1 Link to comment

CoyoteBlue May 27, 2016 Share May 27, 2016 SkankyDrawers is not hitting it off with Lola. Can't believe she didn't just fess up with the "I changed in the bathroom and must have dropped them" reason. OTOH, Lola can relax a little, ffs, they were underwear in a bathroom, not the kitchen. Also, Lola, if you're going to get pissy about language in the house, watch your own, hypocrite. I mean, I can see not wanting someone crass or who swears like a sailor, but come on, they're adults. It's kinda like last season in that Mama is picky as hell and looking for a woman that won't challenge her authority, and Son is looking for someone who is not afraid to thrust her tits in his face. I was impressed that he called out the gal who made a point to kiss him in front of the others like she's staking her claim. OTOH, he wants the ladies to be forward, but then dings her for what, not being subtle? I wouldn't want someone who saw me as a prize to be won, but he's kinda rewarding the bitches who "will fight for [him]". Make up your mind, dude. 1 Link to comment
announcergirl May 27, 2016 Share May 27, 2016 I am just now watching the episode. So I'll be back. I will say now that I disapprove of the mother staying in the house, in the mix. These are grown people. If anything, all interactions might be disingenuous because she is involved. And, mama is petty and, I suspect, a bit thotish her damn self with all that righteous indignation. 1 Link to comment
announcergirl May 28, 2016 Share May 28, 2016 Just finished the episode. I do not like the mom being there at all. Who is she to set rules? They can't curse? Why not. They are grown and being themselves. I am not sure I like Sincerely either though. And, the girl who kissed him was way out of line. I understand him being upset. It happened in public and he can't deny it. LOL! Finger waves? For real, for real? Girl no. 9 hours ago, CoyoteBlue said: SkankyDrawers is not hitting it off with Lola. However, drowz on the floor, in normal situations, usually is not a good indicator of character. I guess with a house full of folks AND CAMERAS, yeah, that's bad. 1 Link to comment

luckyroll3 June 8, 2016 Share June 8, 2016 Okay, so I knew the mom is on the show, but I didn't realize she stayed in the same sleeping quarters as the contestants. That's just weird. The only time it kinda worked was when the mom bit the apple to end Stevie's date with Sincerely. But, it was creepy that she stayed and watched her son make out. Gross. I still don't know why she hates Sincerely. I actually like her for him. She's pretty, has her own spa, confident, obviously they have sexual chemistry. She's soooo in there. luckyroll3 June 14, 2016 Share June 14, 2016 So Stevie has been on 11 different teams in 10 years?!? He shouldn't tell people that. It's not a good statistic. Also, he's not that good looking, and he doesn't look too bright. Hope his business dealings are legit. I am shocked that Rose, the chick from Ft. Lauderdale, is only 25. I thought she was in her 40s! And that Medgie girl is a straight up bitch and bully. "I only pick on you because you make it easy for me to pick on you." Only 8th grade bullies say that shit. 3 Link to comment

announcergirl June 17, 2016 Share June 17, 2016 Quote If he keeps Sincerely after her behavior at the clubs we know one or more of three things: 1. This show is fake and she is the element of drama. 2. He is shallow and going for looks only. 3. He's not looking for a wife, just a "right now love." Also, how do you recover your cute from being smushed? Oh Midgie(sp?). Get some class. 1 Link to comment
Real4real June 18, 2016 Share June 18, 2016 The producers of Real Housewives of Atlanta were weeping when Medgie was eliminated! Can't wait to hear how Sincerely justifies the club behavior. What did Roxie do in the club to get called to the bridge? Didn't they spoil who stays with the preview too? I don't know if I see a strong connection with any of the other ladies. Stevie seems to like them OK, but no real passion. He was HOT for Sincerely--it was hers to lose in my opinion. 1 Link to comment
announcergirl June 24, 2016 Share June 24, 2016 No way in HELL, in HELL I say, would I EVER let the producers make obesity be my storyline!!! She better be living on memory foam or sleep numbers or something to be so bougie about a bunk bed. Like, it's temporary sister!! She didn't even stay for her daughter, knowing it was important? My mama would have put her blanket on the floor and got the remote control to just be there to support me. The McKenzie story brought out some strong emotions for me. Strong. On some forums they are complaining that he kept the "white" girl. In quotes because she isn't really. Posters are upset because on other dating reality shows, mainly the Bachelor/ette franchise, the POC never makes it past a couple of episodes. I have to say that I kinda agree. It's a little...interesting. 1 Link to comment
Real4real June 25, 2016 Share June 25, 2016 I just think he has zero chemistry with Kimmy--he seemed a little intimidated by her when he witnessed her little boardroom drama with her "employees"! And do guys really take a girl they like to the gym?? That had friend-zone written all over it. I think they are really trying to create some kind of drama with what they have left! 1 Link to comment
announcergirl July 3, 2016 Share July 3, 2016 I am on the episode with the all day dates with the three finalists. They are all making me cringe. All the fake I love yous and him saying the same stuff. The kissing. Just gross. I have to muster the courage to finish watching. None of these women seem to be the one. Link to comment
Real4real July 7, 2016 Share July 7, 2016 Finally managed to watch the last episode without falling asleep! What a snooze fest! So here's my take--I think he seems most natural with Roxie, but I think she is in the friend zone. Kimmy--just no. I think she was the producer pick for DRAMA. I just don't think he likes her. So that leaves Christine. I think she "wins"--he seems nervous around her, like he is really worried about what she thinks of him. Wow, I was barely able to stay awake long enough to type this! 1 Link to comment
announcergirl July 8, 2016 Share July 8, 2016 Christine is the dancer, right? She seems most sophisticated and worthy of his working for her respect. Plus, that dance was the business. Link to comment
Real4real July 8, 2016 Share July 8, 2016 We called it! Were we the only ones watching? When did they film the intro sequences? I could see Sherry's breath in that rose garden! Poor Roxie--always a bridesmaid. She seems to be sweet, talented, and pretty. Hope she finds love. Poor Kimmy--she was too much man for poor Stevie. The thought of waking up to that voice everyday . . .run Stevie! Run! Poor Christina-- she seemed to not realize that he had picked her! Did she say "Thank you"? That was a little odd! So, I still think he was all about Sincerely until he saw the betrayal with his own eyes. Christina's sexy dance really put her on his radar. I don't think he really noticed her until then. I think Mama Lola better get a feather bed ready for when the in-laws visit! Here is my an acronym for Stevie: S is for the way you Stumbled over your words, T is for the tongue you slipped all the ladies, E is for your Everlovin' mama (who will be looking over your shoulder forEver!), V is for the Valentine I want to give the producers for filming the "night off" in the club, I is for the incredibly boring dates, and E is for the Eternal love I hope you will have for the next five minutes with your "true love"! 2 Link to comment
nichelle July 9, 2016 Share July 9, 2016 I thought I was the only one watching this show! Since I watched from the beginning I had to stick it out until the bitter end. I just want to know why 'Kimmie' had to wait until he worked his way through the alphabet to turn her down. D is for the..... eyeroll! That was crazy. I also picked Christina through my awesome power of elimination skills. Heh. There was no way Roxie was it. He acted like he didn't even like her. And he kept telling Kimmie 'I want you to be mine' Grrr. She's amazing and runs multi-million dollar businesses. Ohh.. okay. So that left Christina who he actually seemed to be a bit nervous around. And he definitely seemed to find her sexy. I didn't really see anything more than that. So there ya go. Christina for the win. 2 Link to comment
Real4real July 9, 2016 Share July 9, 2016 I think Stevie did the worst job ever of letting the girls down. What was that even! "I love you, Roxie, but it is a super special love that is just for this moment because you are super special to me in a super special way that I don't think will last forever." "You are the woman of my dreams, Kimmie, and I want you to be mine, but only for the time it takes me to remember how to spell 'dreams'." No wonder Christine wasn't sure if he had actually chosen her! SO glad to know I wasn't the only one to make it through to the end! 1 Link to comment
announcergirl July 9, 2016 Share July 9, 2016 So I'm watching the last episode. I need to know why do they make these long rambling professions of love just to tell someone they chose someone else. Roxie never showed any emotion. I guess she's been watching these dating shows. Ladies get all happy and giddy, and then BOOM, the man drops the bomb and you feel all stooooopid! Such an asshole move Stevie!!!! 1 Link to comment
announcergirl July 9, 2016 Share July 9, 2016 "Yes, thank you." For real?!! Just the way she says "I can honestly say I'm in love with him" sounds so fake. That's the best prayer the preacher could give? Actor maybe? Im hmph'ing at it all. HMPH!! 2 Link to comment
