Macbeth May 2, 2016 Share May 2, 2016 Quote If any writers are reading these boards... add at least one clever person and the show will be a lot more tolerable. I think the writers just cut her adrift. Although to be fair - she was trying to bring 3 dying people on board - so maybe not so much with the love. I didn't have a problem with Strand saying no - but with Salazar not speaking up for her as she did save his life on the beach. Link to comment

Damn you Strand! Could those idiots pillage and loot and slower on that beach? If you find a medical bag full of supplies you grab the whole bag and sort through it later. You don't pick and choose what meds to take, you take them all you morons! You may not need blood pressure medicine or insulin now but it might be extremely valuable later. These people know nothing about survival. I keep hoping everyone will die and that's not a good sign for this show. I was rooting for the zombie with the crabs to bite Nick and I really want Chris and Alicia taken down. It's probably never going to happen though. Totally agree! I did not watch the plane episodes so no idea who those people in the raft were. Didn't really care either but am rooting for them more than the idiots Strand is dragging along. I've never seen people who are so dumb! Not even any common sense amongst the 7 of them!! I am not an outdoorsy person. I've been camping a few times but I hate bugs, I'm kind of girly and I wouldn't make it as a survivalist. but man, I would have ran onto that beach (after listening for walkers) and started grabbing luggage and throwing as much as I could onto the raft and the hell with lazily sifting thru it all on that island while playing dress up, I'd sort that shit out from the safety of the boat. Keep what you can use and throw the rest overboard. At this point I look forward to them all dying! On TWD there were so many people to root for. At least you got invested in the characters. THese people are just all sorts of stupid. Not grateful for anything, don't even have basic street smarts or a working flight instinct. Hordes of zombies coming at you.. RUN. but no these dopes stand there and try to fight them off when they were clearly outnumbered. Not sure how any of them have survived this long. since I didn't watch the plane series, I had no clue who the woman in the boat was so I totally agreed with Strand's cold decision to cut her loose. In this new world its each man for himself and a woman (who didn't even speak up or try to bargain her way onto the boat) and a badly injured boy that is very likely to die was just a drain on scarce resources. You are in the middle of the ocean and low on supplies. At least Strand has a survival instinct unlike the rest of the morons on the boat. Forget foraging for supplies, they had a whole "deserted" island of abandoned luggage that was filled with clothing, glasses, snacks, medications, maybe some first aid items, possibly batteries, cell phones etc and the four of them managed to come back with a few pills and a knife? Give me a break. 1 Link to comment

izabella May 3, 2016 Share May 3, 2016 I like this show, but I never watched TWD nor the web series, so I don't care whether it is better, worse or no relation to TWD. As for Alex, she seemed no different than anyone else they didn't save or pick up on their boat, so I wasn't the least bit surprised that Strand cut them off, nor did I really care. I thought Alex was dumb not to mercy kill the burned person, as well as not even listening to his wishes - he told her it was ok if he died and he probably wished he were dead considering the amount of pain he must be in with zero chance of survival. If she really is a doctor and didn't say so, she's even dumber than I thought while watching. I also didn't understand why everyone was so up in arms about going to Baja. It's not like any of them had any better ideas and they couldn't stay on the water forever since they'd run out of fuel and supplies. So? What's their big plan? If they aren't into Strand, then hop off the boat in Baja and take your chances elsewhere. There sure were a lot of meds on that plane. That bag full of antibotics that Nick found toward the end was crazy - who would be carrying that on a plane and why? Link to comment
Raven1707 May 11, 2016 Share May 11, 2016 The Cable Live +7 ratings are in for "Ouroboros": "Fear the Walking Dead" (+1.5) and the season finale of "Better Call Saul" (+1.2) both grew by more than "Game of Thrones" did in adults 18-49. The pattern held in the viewer gains, with "Fear" (+2.75 million people) again leading the way. [7.476 million viewers, with a 3.6 rating for adults 18-49] http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2016/05/09/cable-live-7-ratings-april-18-24-2016/ Link to comment
