I agree Theresa's return will be an apology tour of sorts, but then I also remembered her brother Andrew and old friend Paul are getting married so maybe her release coincides with that too?

I'm not entirely sure that this stint is going to be an apology tour, since like I said, Theresa is only going to be around very briefly and we don't know when or if she will ever come back in any capacity. I can definitely see the writers basically closing the door on the character for good by having Theresa promise to never return to Salem ever again and she's going to spend the rest of her days in California, (or wherever she ends up going to). 

And honestly, I wouldn't even want an apology tour from her anyway. What point is that going to serve? It's not like the entire town is going to let her latest crimes be bygones, (and rightfully so). I need Maggie, Brady and the entire Kiriakis clan to hate her on sight forever and for nearly her entire family to hate and distrust her and shun her. Even her parents should be keeping her at arm's length at this point. The only people that should be somewhat friendly towards her, if that, are her brother Andrew and her son Tate. That's it.

This is Salem.  Unforgivable crimes don't exist.  If they did, virtually none of the characters currently onscreen or off would ever appear or be mentioned.  

I'd take Jen Lilley's Theresa back in a heartbeat, no questions asked.

I remember reading that the guy who played Chase was under the impression that his character would get redeemed after raping Ciara. Honestly, given how soaps often work, he wasn't wrong to think that. If the guy playing Chase had more charisma/was a better actor, there's an actual chance he would have been.

Plus, based on Chase's mental state at the time, he easily could've been redeemed over time.

I still think they should have found some way to redeem Charlie. Mike Manning is so good.

I like a lot of the actors on Beyond The Gates, especially Tamara Tunie, but I'd be lying if I didn't admit that a not insignificant part of me tuning in tomorrow will be to see Mike Manning again.  He was fantastic as Charlie.

Well I don't remember them having coffee on the regular, but she flirted with him when he was first introduced and they were friendly. Later, when she needed models for her Basic Black show, he stepped up and strut his stuff. When she became engaged to Brady (after the Yo Ling affair), Paul was in attendance at the party, though likely because of his connection through John.

All this to say, they've worked together and known each other for years. I think the OG Theresa would be super happy to see her brother marrying him.

A shame the OG Theresa isn't what we're getting. They should do right by Jen L and bring her back for small stints every now and again.

It was an insult she didn't care about his baseball career she was upset that he was using her (even though she was using him to make Brady jealous at the time).

Honestly if if wasn't for Jen L's commitment and charisma, I probably wouldn't have liked her character much.
