Lantern7 January 27, 2016 Share January 27, 2016 Frank and Mac try to market Charlie as a talented artist for profit; Dennis and Dee bring Dennis' erotic memoirs to the screen. ETA: Well, that was a bit of a letdown. Granted, anything following "The Gang Hits The Slopes" would be weak . . . but Richard Greico parodying himself isn't much fun, at least for me. Also, Dennis was about a 3 on the sociopath scale, and Cricket didn't get abused. What's the point of having Cricket unless something bad happens to him on screen? I did get a laugh at the thought of Dennis getting "raped" as a teen by a Rick Moranis-looking librarian. 2 Link to comment
CMH1981 January 28, 2016 Share January 28, 2016 I loved Frank in his Warhol character. I thought it was very funny. The fact that Dennis was raped was really funny, especially since he never saw it that way until Dee stated it. The slow realization on his face and demeanor was great, it was like the gears were turning making him realize all his life and sexual choices to date were b/c of this action. The Mac/Charlie/Cricket storyline was boring. I would rather the whole story/episode been about Dennis being raped and the gangs reaction and diagnosis of how it affected him into the sociopath he is today. Link to comment
Ubiquitous January 28, 2016 Share January 28, 2016 I was amused at seeing Dee's "big break" was as a bartender in one scene of Richard Grieco's Cinemax softcore porno movie but she didn't realize it until the guys pointed it out to her. For some reason, Dennis's repeated line about "words exiting" and "penises entering" mouths amused me. Link to comment
Amarsir January 28, 2016 Share January 28, 2016 I did laugh once or twice (both chalk-related) but overall this was the weakest episode of the season. It was just too disjointed and neither plot felt like it had enough to do. Completely agree with @Lantern7 that Cricket was wasted. Link to comment
Princess Sparkle January 29, 2016 Share January 29, 2016 (edited) I do like the running theme of the guys thinking that mildly famous 80s starts are bigger than they actually are, so Dennis and Mac being utterly flummoxed that Richard Greico would be in a Skinimax movie, and that he must've been tricked or confused about it, was hilarious. The rest of the episode was "eh", but Richard Greico in general made me laugh, especially when he asked for chalk. Edited January 29, 2016 by Princess Sparkle 2 Link to comment
qtpye January 29, 2016 Share January 29, 2016 My favorite line was how Charlie eats the chalk, but saves the Tums, because they fun to draw with. Is it weird that Charlie is my favorite character? I always thought he was the nicest member of the gang and probably the most moral. I always thought the things wrong with him was probably mostly due to the environment he was raised in, compared to the others. This was not the best episode, but I think it gave some insight into Charlie. The others hate their lives and feel like they deserve and are entitled to much better. Charlie thinks he has it good. He owns his own business and gets to hang around with his friends all day and have crazy adventures. I know the fact that he can not see things for the way they are (like the waitress) is partly due to being a moron, but it still makes him endearing to me. 2 Link to comment

While Charlie seems relatively better, don't forget the time he humiliated that rich girl he was dating to make The Waitress jealous. Man, his rebuke was scathing! 2 Link to comment
ganesh January 30, 2016 Share January 30, 2016 This was more a bunch of wacky stuff happening but I did find a lot of it funny. Because I am a terrible person I got a huge laugh out of Dee reaction "HUH?" to Dennis' "you can't rape a man". I loved the art lady for some reason. She kind of conned them in way. 1 Link to comment
Lantern7 January 31, 2016 Author Share January 31, 2016 Idle question . . .did anybody else see the picture of young Dennis and wonder if he still had the skin from that cat? ETA for Ubiquitous . . . I think he said "toe." Poor guy. Link to comment
Ubiquitous January 31, 2016 Share January 31, 2016 Did Rickety Cricket say his tongue was almost eaten by a junkyard cat? Link to comment
kittykat February 1, 2016 Share February 1, 2016 I'm glad Cricket wasn't abused. I actually thought the show would end up going over well and Cricket would end up getting all the money but then again, he could never be that lucky. I'd have to give Dee the Gang Member of the Week Award. Between her denial of making a smut film and her directing of Dennis' memoirs she was on fire. Her video detailing the rape of Dennis was gold, almost on par with Kitten Mittens and FIght Milk. Link to comment

qtpye February 2, 2016 Share February 2, 2016 Dee did do a good job. However, rape is so icky to me, that it does not make me laugh. The video of young Dennis made me uncomfortable and that is what is was supposed to do. The show certainly does not shy away from disgusting stuff. Link to comment
