I agree about Pippa's annoying voice.  I was watching her as she was talking and it looks like she doesn't open her mouth wide enough for the words to come out properly.  I kept thinking, "Open your mouth!".  So, if she does get a correspondence gig, I certainly won't be watching.

Actually, yes.  Yes, she could.  She's got this flat, monotone accent and I really wouldn't like looking at her barely movable mouth, much less hearing what would come out of it.

I only saw portions ... Suffice it to say that if she was available to do anything --for Today-- she could probably name her price. They are employing Jena and paying Chelsea to do who-knows-what ($600K)? NBC isn't known for being subtle.

I was surprised she was 30yo. She looks very good in her white gown but is that all there is?

I don't think Pippa would do --trade on her association with Kate-- it but if she would, I have no doubt NBC would hire her in a heartbeat.

Jena and Chelsea have about 7 months of income from NBC left. They will have to give it up if the Bush brother and Hillary declare in January.

~   I thought Tam' was funny yesterday when nobody paid attention to the Fb player catching passes while backflipping. She was begging the desk to react and they didn't care. They should get rid of this you-tube stuff.

That interview with the stars of "50 Shades of Grey" was awful.  It was stilted and they just acted very nervous.  I don't remember their names but the female is the daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffiths.  To my eyes, they have zero sex appeal.  Sure, they're both reasonably attractive, but there's no spark there.  I don't know why Charlie Hunnam bailed out, but I think he would have been much better (sexier).  I guess she got the part because of her parents?  I haven't read the book but I wonder if those who have read it are satisfied with the casting.

"50 Shades"

I'm sure Dakota Johnson has some talent but I wouldn't know as I don't remember seeing her before? That, and not being concerned about doing soft-core porn probably got her the role.

I didn't see the interview but I was home to see the NBC News with Brian Williams. Since the film is property of Universal --parent Co. of NBC-- they got a plug disguised as a news story.

I think that Matt is usually a pretty good interviewer, but today he just seemed really weird when interviewing Katie Holmes.  She was there to plug her latest movie, The Giver, and he kept asking her these probing questions about her personal life.  She was clearly uncomfortable and just wanted to talk about the movie, but he was relentless.  I don't know what was up with him, but the whole interview was just...weird.  I felt sorry for her and I imagine she couldn't wait to get off that stool and away from him.

So Savannah was interviewing Jeff Bridges today because was plugging the same movie, The Giver.  She stuck to talking about the movie, and just made a little pleasant small talk with him about other things.  He didn't seem uncomfortable at all and seemed to be enjoying himself.  Now that's how you conduct an interview, Matt!

The Jennifer Lopez interview- Me! Me! Me! I had to learn to love myself! It didn't change my opinion of her.

She tries to sell that she's just Jenny on the Block but I just heard she is looking at doing a gig in Vegas but saw where Britney stays or performs & it wasn't lavish enough. She has the Diva reputation of demanding white roses, white chairs, white candles, white curtains, etc. in her room.

Today Matt Lauer was interviewing golfer Greg Norman, who recently turned--60!!.  I'm not kidding, Matt acted like turning 60!! was somebody ancient, an old geezer.  He kept asking Norman how it was like to be turning--60!! and I must say he was very calm and gracious during the whole interview.  Matt must have forgotten that he's--57!!--only three years younger than Norman.

Lauren Scruggs.  She was a model and fashion blogger who unfortunately walked into a plane's propeller and lost an eye and hand.  It was dark and she couldn't see the propeller.  I think it happened in 2012 and the Today show just kept talking and talking and talking about the story, as if there was no other news to report on.  She came on the show (maybe more than once, I don't remember).  It was discussed at length over on TWoP where someone came up with "propeller model."   While we felt bad for her, the venom was directed more at the Today show because they couldn't let the story go.  Now she's back on the show promoting a book.
