Adam & Eddy discuss the Milah, Emma, and Rumple interactions.

On Sunday’s Once Upon a Time, Rumple (Robert Carlyle) believes he can use Milah (Rachel Shelley) to help track down Hook (Colin O’Donoghue), which will make things a little complicated — Milah is also Hook’s ex-lover.

 

“As we set up in the premiere, the theme of this half is unfinished business,” executive producer Edward Kitsis says. “I can’t think of a couple that has more unfinished business than Milah and Rumple, considering the last time they saw each other, he killed her and then cut her new boyfriend’s hand off.”

 

“Then there’s the added complication of Milah’s connection to Hook and also how that affects Emma [Jennifer Morrison] and so many others,” says EP Adam Horowitz, “which we think provides for an interesting reunion.” But Kitsis interjects: “Awkward would be what I would say.”

5x18 - RUBY ENLISTS OUR HEROES HELP TO FIND DOROTHY,

“Ruby Slippers” — In flashbacks, Ruby and Mulan find themselves in Oz, where they meet Dorothy. After the three witness Zelena’s return to Oz, they look for a way to defeat her once and for all. However, Dorothy mysteriously disappears, and Ruby’s search for her new friend lands her in the Underworld. Reunited with the heroes, Ruby teams up with Emma, Regina and Snow to continue looking for Dorothy.  Meanwhile, Snow and David struggle with not being able to be with their son, Neal, and devise a plan so that one of them can escape the Underworld
