Athena June 4, 2015 Share June 4, 2015 Riley's fate draws nearer, while Capheus and Sun are put to the test, and Wolfgang makes his boldest move yet. Link to comment
placate June 6, 2015 Share June 6, 2015 I've been binge watching this so far. I love the show and most the characters bring something to the plate except Kala and Riley. I'm holding off on the finale because no one has used these two's skills. I thought Capheus might be kinda useless but he's apparently the transporter and at least 2 of the sensate don't know how to drive. I think I'm rating this as Sun>Wolfie>Nomi>Will>Capheus>Lito in order of power level. Kala and Riley are dead last. I think being a pharmacist would be more important than a dj, but who knows with how this show is going. 1 Link to comment
Boundary June 6, 2015 Share June 6, 2015 It's kinda hard to translate different skills onto one power rating scale. I think the blending of skills is more important. Sun, Wolfgang and Will are obviously the fighters in the group, Nomi tech support, Capheus driving, Lito role playing, Kala medic. I'm not sure of Riley. But even that generalisation is not accurate: I particularly liked it when Will and Nomi were breaking down clues and Sun's financial knowledge will be useful too I'm sure. I think it will be about particular circumstances with particular needs. 1 7 Link to comment
Chaos Theory June 8, 2015 Share June 8, 2015 (edited) Capheus is the get away driver. It's an important skill set to have in an emergency and has come in handy on more then one occasion. Sun, Wolfgang, and Will are the fighters of the group. Nomi is tech support which is also nice skill to have an one that has come in handy. Lito, like he said, is a good liar and is the one you want when talking your way in or out of a situation is the best option. Violence is not always the way to go. Kala is a medic so that is good in a tough spot but hasn't really come up yet. As for Riley I am not sure what her skill is but it looks like she is the one most connect to the clusters past. Then also each one of them is bound to have other skill sets that will come up if there is a season 2. Edited June 8, 2015 by Chaos Theory 2 Link to comment
thuganomics85 June 11, 2015 Share June 11, 2015 Sun helping Capheus and Capheus himself playing chicken with the lead gangster was great, but I'm worried over how the gangster just happen to fall into a nice pile of boxes. Makes me worry that he ain't gone for good. Then again, if I were one of his henchman, I would start getting annoyed over how he keeps going after that guy that looks harmless, but can suddenly take down ten men and barely gets a scratch. Totally should have saw Sun's brother killing the dad to cover his sorry ass, but I didn't. Poor Sun. I really hope she gets out one day, and gets her revenge. Sorry to the late mother and everything, but that jackass has crossed too many lines. No mercy, Sun! Interesting that there seems to be two cliffhangers going. The big story seems to be Riley in peril, with Will and Nomi trying to get. All while Jonas is promising to help, but who knows what is really going on with him. But now Wolfgang seems prepared to go on a suicide mission to take out his uncle, with only Kala involved with him. Sun gave her a pep talk at the end, but I'm not sure what Kala can bring to this fight. Didn't check in on Lito, but I'm sure he'll be back for the finale. Will watch it later tonight! 1 1 Link to comment
SanLynn June 16, 2015 Share June 16, 2015 (edited) It's a credit to this show that I teared up watching Riley's dad sing to her. When even the small level characters feel real that's something pretty special. I don't get why Will et al can visit Riley though. Especially because they make such a point in the finale that she's unreachable because she's unconscious. Putting that under spoilers because I'm not sure it's established in the episodes to this point.More Kala interaction yay! I loved the scenes with her and Will and her and Sun. It's nice to see her intermixing with the rest of the cluster. Up until the last couple episodes I felt like her and Wolfgang might have been on an island. After the build up her emotions regarding Wolfgang basically going to his death were very impactful. I really like those two together. I hope Wolfgang survives and escapes to India. For men and women of religion though the Ganesha worshippers are really bloodthirsty! We got a mention of it earlier but actually celebrating someone's attack and trying to praise Kala for it... yikes. I was really worried for Capheus most of this episode. That scene in the wharehouse was so intense, especially intercut with Sun/Capheus punching the prison walls. If the gang (I know they have a name but I can't remember it) keeps coming after him after the way he laid waste this episode they're idiots. But I do think that leader guy survived. I know he got hit by the Van Damme but it looks like he landed pretty softly. Sun's brother is really arrogant and/or stupid to think he could get away with that suicide story. Did he think their father hadn't told Sun what he was planning or did he just think that father confessed his intentions to sonny boy first? He deserved that beating and a whole lot more. I hope the truth comes out! And that BS "we can't blame ourselves?" like Sun actually did something wrong? What an evil little baby. Regarding skill level rankings I think the one thing Riley might have going for her is to be able to birth other clusters. For my money it's down to her and Nomi being the mother to future clusters and since Nomi has the tech thing going for her and Riley seems the most involved in the mythology (outside of Will) I think she might be the mom. jhlipton June 18, 2015 Share June 18, 2015 The dialog is cheesy at times but all the actors, even the bit players -- Silas, Wolfgang's cousin, Felix, even the bartender -- bring it! That's what makes it fun to watch in spite of the glacial plot. It's refreshing to see a show that's so character-driven. 4 Link to comment
darkestboy July 14, 2015 Share July 14, 2015 Penultimate episode was solid. Was Lito missing from this one? I don't remember anything with him at all. Riley's doomed if they don't get to her in time. Nice seeing Kala interacting with more of the Clusters and Capheus stepping up to protect that little girl from those killers as well. Someone needs to get Sun out of prison and fast, 8/10 Link to comment
DropTheSoap September 7, 2015 Share September 7, 2015 Sun's brother is really arrogant and/or stupid to think he could get away with that suicide story. He's a rich guy in Korea. He might well be able to get away with the suicide story. 1 Link to comment

Didn't Sun's lawyer in a the previous episode tell her that the father had given a confession and that she should be out of prison in about a week (not the exact wording, but I thought that was the gist)? So it seems that there would already be some record of the father confessing, which should put the brother under suspicion. Link to comment
ElectricBoogaloo August 5, 2017 Share August 5, 2017 (edited) I thought the chase scene in San Francisco was great but this one was even better! Oh, Jonas, noooooooooo! I don't want you to be a bad guy, damn it. I love that Bug showed up to give Nomi the tools she needs to fight back. Sun's brother is even worse than I originally thought he was. What a fucking weasel. Interesting that Rajan already knew his father opposed his marriage to Kala. I want to believe that he's really a nice guy, but that popped collar says otherwise.
