I am assuming it won't mean that, but for some reason the idea that people would automatically succeed to the role made me think of Dred Pirate Roberts, and now I have that mental image in my head. San didn't bully Charlie, she jumped at the chance to help Dean, and he did not drive Lester to anything, he was ready willing and eager to make that deal. Right? Writers, it would have taken minimal tweaking to have Sam pressure either of the characters into the actions. If that is what you want, write it that way. They were so good. On 5/21/2015 at 12:12 AM, Tippi Blevins said: "Elon Musk? This is Sam Winchester. I need a spaceship that can send me a billion light years to my brother!" At the worst, couldn't Death have shipped them both off to the same planet? Just let them be codependent on Kepler 186f or something and not bother anybody else? I can see it now. They wait for intelligent life to evolve and then kill all the aliens as a result of good faith attempts to protect each other while sending meaningful looks to one another in zero gravity. I'm sure we could find a Millennium Falcon (or reasonable facsimile) for the boys to ride around in ;D I . . . Would watch that On 5/22/2015 at 1:59 PM, supposebly said: Well, I guess the family business now is: Saving Winchesters, creating apocalypses.......? Don't forget creating unnecessary complications through secrets and lies! So, Rowena actually survived. I am legitimately shocked by that. I didn't expect her to make it. I don't really get why Crowley helped them. I was sort of assuming it was to get to Rowena and then he had access to her but didn't act. Didn't he want MoC Dean? Meanwhile he actually finds the one thing Rowena cares about, and he hands over that leverage to be destroyed. I don't get it. I wish I thought there would be huge ramifications associated with killing Death (who, frankly, has been slacking what with his reapers showing themselves and going rogue), but my guess is that this wasn't thought out beyond the shock value. The plot holes in this episode were fairly monumental, but they sold the hell out of it. I could have lived without the "skank" bs (sigh), but I did like that they actually went dark with Dean. And so ends S10. I actually really liked it there for awhile and then they added extraneous bad guys and fridged Charlie so they could accelerate something that should have been building over time. I think this season had a ton of wasted potential. Still, there were some great moments and some great episodes. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/26840-s10e23-brothers-keeper/page/9/#findComment-5891444

He'd already turned on him once as a demon, and if he came demonfied again, he would much stronger than Crowley. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/26840-s10e23-brothers-keeper/page/9/#findComment-5891457

I believe that Crowley helped them because it gave him the opportunity to make his mother, Rowena, kill the only thing she ever loved. He even spoke about the fact that he believed that the reason Rowena didn't love him was because she couldn't love anyone, but then found out about Oskar. So, Crowley knew she wanted her freedom, so she would kill him and in his mind, he would have his revenge for her not loving him all his life. I feel evil saying this, but Oskar seems like pretty great leverage for him. But I do see that. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/26840-s10e23-brothers-keeper/page/9/#findComment-5891616
