MissLucas July 15, 2015 Share July 15, 2015 French Time Lord aka Henri Lubatti is almost as omnipresent (especially on genre and crime shows) as Mark Sheppard. He's been on Supernatural, Person of Interest, Burn Notice, Hawaii 5-0, The Mentalist, Elementary, True Blood, Grimm, 24, X-Files, Chuck, Bones and many, many more. Link to comment
ratgirlagogo July 16, 2015 Share July 16, 2015 I like him a lot. His biggest role was on Sleeper Cell, which is what I always remember him from. As I said in the episode thread I was surprised to discover he's actually from Seattle - guess he's just really good at doing accents. Link to comment

Well, that explains a few things, heh. I thought he looked familiar, and I've seen almost half of those shows, so no doubt I remember him from some of those. Billy Burke is clearly no stranger to being the best part of some cheese, because I will always remember him fondly as Miles Matheson in the so bad, it was almost good, Revolution. I know he was also in the Twilight films, which I hope were decent paychecks, at least. James Wolk was awesome as Bob Benson on Mad Men, and I enjoyed him on that sitcom, The Crazy Ones, which sadly didn't take off and got canceled after the first season. Carl Lumbly (mysterious leader) was Marcus Dixon on Alias, voiced Martian Manhunter in Justice League, and popped up as a preacher on A&E's version of The Returned. I saw him first in Political Animals where he played the normal, well adjusted son overshadowed by the troubled son with the drug problem and then I saw him in The Crazy Ones and was completely floored how funny he can be. Not the easiest job when your partner is Robin Williams. Link to comment

Not the easiest job when your partner is Robin Williams. Yeah. James Wolk is the kind of actor who is so gorgeous that you kind of feel as if he would be working even if he were passable as a performer. But it seems like every time I see him in something, he reveals another talent. I first saw him in the two episodes of Lone Star that aired. It's too bad it got cancelled so soon because I think it had promise. 1 Link to comment

shapeshifter July 23, 2015 Share July 23, 2015 Thank you! I just could not place him but I knew he was someone I had enjoyed watching before. I liked him in the Bones spinoff, The Finder. I thought he also played Captain Awesome on Chuck, but that was a different sandy-haired, hunky actor. Link to comment
MissLucas July 23, 2015 Share July 23, 2015 Yes, Geoff Stults has been a lead on two shows I quite liked and then got cancelled after one season (Enlisted and The Finder). He's currently also playing a minor part on Grace and Frankie which did make it to season 2. Link to comment
Bruinsfan August 3, 2015 Share August 3, 2015 This weekend I saw Billy Burke playing a ridiculously overconfident Jim Jones figure in the crappy movie Drive Angry on cable. He did not rise above the material. Link to comment
thuganomics85 August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 As I mentioned in the episode thread, Steven Culp (Reiden dude Mitch is trying to make a deal with), was a fellow former Revolution guy, as he played President Truman on that show. But I've also seen him in a ton of various stuff like Desperate Housewives, Star Trek: Enterprise, Arrow, and Burn Notice. Basically, the guy gets around. Of course, my favorite thing about tonight was seeing Simon Kassianides as Chloe's ex, who was recently on Agents of Shield as Bakshi. Poor Bakshi: this is a major step down for him! 1 Link to comment
Ilovemylabs August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 James Wolk gave a stellar performance in "Head of the Class", a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie about Brad Cohen, a young man who suffered from Tourette's syndrome. I think it was his first major role. I used to show it (at the end of the year) to my junior high students and from the first moment of the movie they were completely engaged and completely silent...pretty remarkable for that age group. It's worth renting, if it's available on Netflix or whatever. 1 Link to comment
willow2tree August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 OMG! "Drive Angry" is the best worst movie around, and Billy Burke is hilariously bad in it. Watching Amber Heard kick his ass...good times! James Wolk was really excellent in "Head of the Class", and I enjoyed him in "Political Animals" too. He really is pretty. Steven Culp is one of those Hey It's That Guy guys. He is in ALOT of things. He really has a great ease about him and I love the fact that he does lots of different roles. And he needs to play something beside Kyle Chandler because they look like they could be brothers. (very similar in the acting realm as well!) Link to comment
Pamela October 30, 2016 Share October 30, 2016 (edited) For those of you who enjoy Billy Burke (and what sensible person doesn't?), he's appearing in Chicago P.D. this Wednesday, November 2nd. ———————————————————————————— And it turns out that episode got bumped because of the World Series. So...November 9th, probably? Best to check your local listings. Edited November 4, 2016 by Pamela Sports ruin everything. 1 Link to comment
