I really liked what they did with Samuel in S4--and I adore Mitch Pillegi--not sure Samuel made a lot of sense in S6, though. Oh, and that silly gang of his was just so wrong in so many ways, IMO. My only hope is that Samuel did not go to that great Harvelle's in the sky, but is stuck in Purgatory for eternity. 7kstar February 15, 2015 Share February 15, 2015 I can live with John and Mary going out together...I think they are very important and I like both...I just think some bad writing has really harmed John. I never thought he was such a bully because I don't believe that Dean would be so loyal to a bully if John never had a really good side. There had to be some really good moments that out weighed the bad for Dean to feel such torment. Otherwise he would have walked away from John. The show has given us it is Sam but that still doesn't work for me. So my handwave is there are some really special moments when he taught Dean how to shoot and hunt that Dean clings too and can overlook the other stuff as that's just Dad being drunk but he doesn't really mean it. JMV.
