Stroman's day one bluster was unnecessary. He's most likely the fifth starter just due to attrition.

I'm sure all of the fans in cold weather cities would be thrilled with the prospect of a month of night games at near freezing temperatures without the excitement of the playoffs to make it worth the suffering.  Players too.

Eh, I like spring training games. Guys who will be in the AA camp in a week, wearing crazy numbers. It's fun.

I like them too. I like the month we get of getting a look at the prospects and seeing how they play.

Yeah, it’s almost comical. They went from trying to trade surplus starter Stroman to now being short a starter. Two, if you count that Schmidt won’t be ready either. Not to mention no DH and no third baseman. Also, their left fielder seems to have some questionable defense.
