cooksdelight April 11, 2015 Author Share April 11, 2015 Kathryn is stunted in her idea of wanting to be Mrs. Thomas Ravenel. T-Rav is just stunted. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/24511-s02e04-no-good-deed/page/3/#findComment-1025529
izabella April 11, 2015 Share April 11, 2015 Kathryn needs to align herself with someone who will either see that her modeling career continues where it can make her some good money short term Kathryn is a model?? I do have some respect for Whitney in that regard. He's nearly my parents' age but he can throw down with the kiddies. He must have inherited the lush gene from his mama. He probably did inherit that, though some of it might be nurture more than nature. Also, he has no job so it's not like he needs to get up early in the morning to go work, nor is he ever worn out from the stress of work or working long hours. cooksdelight April 11, 2015 Author Share April 11, 2015 Kathryn is a model?? If you Google "Kathryn Dennis model" you'll get a few images that might qualify. I think she wanted to be one at one time. Lonesome Rhodes April 12, 2015 Share April 12, 2015 TRav's candidacy was a lark to begin with. So, Whitney's concept that he needed to come out with an ad acknowledging his checkered past was spot on, imo. He was going to have to catch lightning in a bottle. The shot of the co-ed's bum was an edit too far, but the dancing and partying, as a whole, were fine. At a minimum, voters were going to be aware of TRav. With the extremely limited resources available to him, TRav had little choice but to try to make a splash. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/24511-s02e04-no-good-deed/page/3/#findComment-1026202
missy jo April 12, 2015 Share April 12, 2015 The bloom is off the JD rose. The thing that pissed me off was his Hooters comment I wasn't overly grossed out by that, because in the same way as Whitney's and Shep's "fat chicks" conversation - welcome to how men talk behind closed doors. Doesn't make it right; it just makes it realistic. And I say that as a card-carrying feminist. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/24511-s02e04-no-good-deed/page/3/#findComment-1027654
MyAimIsTrue April 12, 2015 Share April 12, 2015 I tend to agree and think such talk makes these men look like idiots, and I leave it at that. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/24511-s02e04-no-good-deed/page/3/#findComment-1027739
foo May 2, 2015 Share May 2, 2015 (edited) The bloom is off the JD rose. The thing that pissed me off was his Hooters comment about that's what men want to see. It's as if he doesn't understand that women can now vote. Gay men can vote. That lots of people who aren't straight land-owning white men can vote and that some of us don't vote for candidates based on how hot the women in the campaign ads are. I have detested JD from the start. His role as TRav sycophant was/is bad enough (that riduculous "TRaveUHnatEEEEOOOOHHHN" shout is just one example), but he's always made those dismissive, condescending remarks about women. The conversation with TRav from season 1 where Craig was going to borrow the boat comes to mind. He made some crack about women and pregnancy or hormones. There were similar remarks peppered throughout the first season. Although there have been even more this season. He's gross. He's basically an aged Craig** with a job that he has managed to hang onto. **(well, with even less in the looks department. Craig isn't as pretty as he thinks he is, though) Edited May 2, 2015 by foo 6 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/24511-s02e04-no-good-deed/page/3/#findComment-1101983
zenme May 3, 2015 Share May 3, 2015 (...Craig isn't as pretty as he thinks he is, though) He really isn't, and his attitude detracts from what he does have. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/24511-s02e04-no-good-deed/page/3/#findComment-1103211
