  1. Oh yeah. I think plenty of them are . . . Kathryn, Thomas, Craig, JD, Whitney . . .
  2. I do, too. I was just being snarkcastic with my blame Landon comment.
  3. Oh, totally. Kensington will be bringing them a nice income stream. But I'm sure they're all a bit disappointed that they never got him on the line for marriage and then the eventual divorce settlement/alimony.
  4. I have always had the impression that Kathryn's family is rich in name only. Their plantation house (the episode where she took Thomas home for family dinner) was not very well-maintained on the exterior (shutters falling off, etc), and indoor shots were minimal (on a show with plenty of home porn). When her father said that the house was built before the civil war, the camera panned to the wallpaper for cripes' sake. Her parents and grandmother didn't look particularly well-dressed (in the label/designer sense), and they were awfully damn ok with their 21 year old kid dating a 50-something loser with a horrible reputation but plenty of money. Her grandmother practically told her to go ahead and keep on with TRav and get pregnant on the pregnancy scare episode. Her family gives me the skeevy impression that they've always been looking to pimp her out for money. Does anyone know if she's an only child?
  5. Yep. Craig is an entitled, obnoxious douche. He was lucky that Akim the Scream put up with him as long as he did. (I'm sure Akim was just using him for the free, outside SC exposure). Those two were a sleaze match made in heaven.
  6. That's probably the only way the boss could get Craig to show up ;)
  7. That is absolutely the *only* Landon moment that I enjoyed. All others bore me to tears or make me think she's a total bitch ("Cooper's little show")
  8. Thomas' first house, he bought for himself. He had it pre-Katherine. The new place is pretty much strictly for Katherine-"to keep her out of my way" That's pretty much the essence of TRav.
  9. I think that what makes them so great for each other (well, pre-Kensington) is that they are both totally vapid. Being pretty, partying, and a free ride is all they both aspire to. Of course, they're doomed as a potential couple, because neither one of them brings money to the table, and that's really all either of them aspires to.
  10. I think Patricia's butlers have landed a sweet gig. Like someone else said, Drunkie-O doesn't seem to do much except sit or lie around and drink. Serve up a few martinis, plop a few pairs of diamond-encrusted shoes onto silver trays, and collect a decent paycheck. You know the maids, cook, etc. are the ones doing the real work around that house. So much YES to this! Landon is a huge dud. Total zero.
  11. My guess was the money. She's cheap and easy, but only if you're loaded (financially).
  12. I have detested JD from the start. His role as TRav sycophant was/is bad enough (that riduculous "TRaveUHnatEEEEOOOOHHHN" shout is just one example), but he's always made those dismissive, condescending remarks about women. The conversation with TRav from season 1 where Craig was going to borrow the boat comes to mind. He made some crack about women and pregnancy or hormones. There were similar remarks peppered throughout the first season. Although there have been even more this season. He's gross. He's basically an aged Craig** with a job that he has managed to hang onto. **(well, with even less in the looks department. Craig isn't as pretty as he thinks he is, though)
