I like Taylor a lot too hope she makes it...who knows, maybe she is killing it with the dances? Maybe she will be a Kali (however you spell it).  Not quite the body type they want and not great at kicks but still such a great performer and beautiful that they give it a shot. 

 

Is Karen the one who tweeted to Kelli about needing to ask her a question and having partying pics up?  LOL

Personally, if I were a TCC, I would use the time to binge watch previous seasons of MTT.  I would also watch appearance videos, halftime performances, quarter change routines, etc on YouTube to start

Karen looks weird to me, but she's an AMAZING dancer. Unless her kicks are bad or she doesn't really look good in uniform or has memory issues, I think she's going to make it. She's an extremely technical dancer.

 

..and I feel like they kind of have to let Robin make it..because diversity. 

Karen is really good, but I believe she is extremely short. I feel like Kelli may have an issue with that when she puts on the boots. I think she also just finished school, which seems to be a strike against some girls.

 

Robin's video from auditions leads me to believe that she wouldn't need "diversity", because it appears she is fantastic as is. I'm rooting for her.

Yeah she is..but it's a plus for the team in terms of having a diverse look. Her kicks are good too.

Robin looks thick and old.  If you watch Taylor's audition video, she cannot dance.  It looks like a chicken dance.

 

Perhaps it's that god-awful weave she had. I can't wait to see how her makeover is!

 Where's the rest of them?

Just scroll down.  You can also do the following google search "dcc - [insert first name of training camp candidate]" and when the results come up, just click on the "videos" tab -- the one you're looking for will be the first one typically!  Hope this helps!

Oh gosh Karen does not look like a DCC to me at all!! Courtney seems sweet too but also does not have a glamorous DCC look IMO.

Holly is beautiful but I could see her looking stocky in the uniform. Some of them seem so plain to me too like kyndall? The blondes all blend together for me too! Too many girls to keep track of this year hehe

Not to downplay how hard Taylor has worked, but there are literally hundreds of girls who work hard every year but just choose not to post their journey all over social media which I guess could be seen as a good or bad thing

Not the body type, nor the kicks. To me those are both valid reasons to say goodbye! That uniform is iconic they shouldn't be settling for things like that

Does anyone have the link to rewatch the finals videos? Are they still up to watch??

I don't know if dccfan37 meant the post semi-final videos for voting or if there's a link/site/page that features the final solos. Those are what I want to see. I know in the past there's been a place where we can watch the final solos. Is there one this year and if there is, does anyone have a link?

I was referring to the semi-final voting videos :) but I know a few of us have mentioned on here that we would LOVE if they posted final solo videos. It's sad to only see a few glimpses of them on the show

Wow, some years they post the final solos in their entirety!? dream come true!!

 

I know when I've wanted to watch the clips again I have to go back to the dcc twitter..and even that is just veterans, not new people.

I thought they had in years past, LaurenBrook. But don't know that they have in the last couple years. Since the new site (yuk!) went up, everything is so difficult to find and much of what made the DCC site good is gone. So I don't know anymore!

ITA KellyAnn3.  She was one of the standouts for me among the audition videos for the fan vote, and one of my ten I voted for.  From what little I saw (6 8 counts?), she's a technically trained dancer with great stage presence.  I agree with others that the weave is not that flattering and ages her face, and I hope they gave her a great makeover.  They are hit and miss with hair makeovers for black TCCs, but last year they totally rocked it with Alexandra's.  I think it helped a lot that they had black hairstylists who knew what they were doing--not that one has to be black to really know how to deal with natural and "amended" black hair, but it does take real training and skill.  I recall that Jackie Bob's hair was underwhelming after her rookie makeover, as was Jacie's.  I've loved Jacie's hair since her second season on, though.  It really flatters her face, and I like that she's got her own style going on rather than long hair like everyone else on the team.  

 

I'm not sold on Taylor, for all the reasons everyone has stated in past weeks.  My bet is K & J like her work ethic and they are keeping her either because they're hoping she'll improve enough to make the grade, or because they want an underdog for the show to follow through the final weeks/episodes.  I'd like to think they wouldn't be so cold as to keep someone around only to build suspense for the show, but I can't help but think it's a possible factor.

@DCCFAN71  I love Taylor she's an amazing dancer and a hard worker , she doesn't have great kicks right now but mikinzie and kali over came that.

 

and i know i have not been on this forum for awhile but what's wrong with her body now .

 

i don't under people on this board can develop cartoon hate for someone who had all on 3 secs of speaking air time ever

I guess I am missing the Taylor hate? or cartoon hate? not sure what that is but everyone here seems to really like her and is rooting for her. I think her body is gorgeous and works well for her in her job, obviously, but K&J and Charlotte are SO PICKY.  They know what they want to see in the uniform and how they want it to look.  Maybe Taylor looked awesome! I just think because of her natural build she may have a little trouble.  Heck, it's all how you fill it out.  Again, no hate for Taylor here.  I will be pumped if she makes it, I'm just a little concerned for her on the little we've seen (which as you said, is very little).

Aw! You should not feel guilty for that! Everyone gets to have an opinion, that's what makes it fun and I think it helps because I then look more at girls I didn't at first.

I watched it maybe 60 times (it's so short!) and I think it's Kinizie. We all know she is excellent at everything, so it's probably(hopefully) a minor muscle strain keeping her from being able to sit in the split.

Pretty positive that's Kinzie, she must have pulled her hamstring recently or something because she is really flexible

I thought the same at first, but then I started thinking it was Holly based on the hair style. Holly's hair tends to be more wavy where Kinzie's is usually straight. Really not sure either way, but they're both amazing so it has to be injury related.

I saw that too. Maybe he was talking about in general, because she was clear in the last video Kelly posted. I saw Kelly "favorited" his tweet too, so I guess she agrees with him

That guy is a law professor who is also an expert in public speaking/nonverbal persuasion.  I read that he has coached people from lawyers to actors to beauty contestants.  I wonder if he plays a role in this season?

thanks for info! I wondered what his connection was besides being a 'die hard fan' lol  Not that it's unusual for men to be the ones leaving tons of comments haha  I always wondered if rookies were given a list of people on social media to be wary of...I know myself I see two guys who comment on EVERY dcc picture about them being 'beautiful angels' or 'so beautiful'...have to wonder if the girls have inside jokes about that stuff LOL

If they notice you in 30 seconds, they'll notice it on the field."

 

Hmm..

 

Perhaps!  But from what I've seen, Kelly doesn't need additional reasons to cut Taylor -- she's heavy, can't kick, her dancing is pretty bad in the finals video they posted, and she doesn't have a good look (what's up with all the white makeup below her eyes?).  I'm amazed she made training camp.

Anyone heard anything about a break in TC?  Saw a RT from Sam Finglass and a tweet from Kelli that makes me think they're getting ready to go on a vacay.  Kelli mentioned passport so wonder where they're going?

Taylor is just not attractive. She looks like she is in her 40s or older. She should not have been chosen based on her looks alone. I'm sorry.

I agree.  If she were to make the squad, it would really hurt the "brand."

I wonder if they will wait to cut Taylor until the very end? I have to admit, I'm not a big fan of her. She reminds me of a porn star or something. Besides her bad kicks and heavy looks, from what i understand from my girlfriend that went to Univ of Arizona, she is not a nice person at all. Extremely fake and thinks a lot of herself. Definitely not an American Sweetheart!

She reminds me a lot of Vivian. Great hip hop dancer, but short, looks heavy, and has flexibility issues. From what I can tell, she seems very self absorbed on social media with all her fans from the racing world. But at least she's pretty! Not to sound mean but half of the remaining TCC's don't even look like DCC's to me.

Edit: did Taylor drop out of UofA? I know current TCC Megan just graduated from there last month. I wonder if they knew each other or have mutual friends

I think that is Kinzie too -- her kicks are a little lower than normal (she is one of those who I think could kick her nose) and her jump is somewhat like Vivian did in front of DJ G last season (little jump and a slide into a half split) -- that HAS to be an injury.  She is not someone with flexibility problems.  Which one is Taylor? I can't pick her out.
