Missed Alyssa & Josiah's time.

Carson & Jack are leaving fourth at 12:26 p.m.

And Han & Holden are last to leave at 12:58 p.m.

Mark's right.  This leg determines the F4.

Once again, a truncated opening.  Why does Survivor get the full opening, but this gets the shorter one?  Come on, Show!  Come on, CBS!

But Alyssa & Josiah and Brett & Mark seem to be lost.

I don't know about this head-to-head thing.  The jousting looks great, though.

They must name the four countries they've visited that are part of the Council.

Carson & Jack are first to reach the clue.  And the Head-to-Head is coming up!

Okay!  I like this better!  They're doing it the way that Canada is doing and having it early in the leg instead.

So the four countries are Italy, Bulgaria, France, and Germany.

Ah, Alyssa & Josiah finally reached it.  But they don't know the countries.

They get all but the United Arab Emirates.  And now Indonesia.

They finally realize that it's Germany after using Asian countries.

Brett & Mark are still lost.

Will Han and Holden's car get towed because they parked illegally? I guess it's okay  because someone else parked there - I thought the sign pointed elsewhere.

So this Head-to-Head is a Roadblock.

Roadblock: Who's ready to go head-to-head?
A member of each team must joust another team member in a boat.  Winner stays, loser faces the next team.  Losing team must have a ten-minute penalty.

Han takes this one.  Carson gets there and takes it next and will go against Han.

Oh, no penalty for Han and Holden coming in last in the last leg.  Not sure how I feel about that.  But ten minutes for the team that comes in last in the joust.

They're playing it the way Canada and Israel play their versions.  They put it early in the leg instead of right at the Pit Stop.

They should just call it the Face-Off, though, like those shows call it.

Self driving and navigation seems to be Brett & Mark's kryptonite. I think they're toast. I've been worried about them, the editors just haven't seemed that interested in them all season long.

So it wasn’t technically a NEL — it was a “you’re still racing” leg if there was no penalty for coming in last. Hmmm

Well, even without a penalty there's still a distinction. Jonathan and Ana were "Team Number 1" and won a prize. If it were "you're still racing" they would have been just the first team to arrive, no prize, and given the next clue.

Jonathan & Ana reach the Roadblock, and Jonathan is doing it.

Alyssa & Josiah reach it next, and they can't use their Express Pass.  Josiah will do it.

But Brett & Mark have to get directions.  They're six minutes away from where they need to be.

I think that it's just like the NELs of old -- simply being last with no penalty.  That was how it was in the first four seasons, plus one leg of TAR17.
