I really like the Ron-Joyce plot. It was educational how these pharmacetical sales people work, and I really felt for Joyce in the end when it turned out she has no real friends. So sad, but who hasn't been there?

The baby shower plotline was kinda annoying and not that fun, but whatever.

I liked both plot lines. Regarding the baby shower - it's hard to give up control and see something done so differently than you imagined. I love how Serena was so calm about it ... it was just a baby shower. Serena really understands Alex; their friendship is nice to watch.

I'm glad Joyce realized that her true friends surround her every day!  I didn't catch who she said she hated at the very end of the episode.  I replayed it, but it cuts off mid-sentence. 

In the dental world, some of the female sales reps I've seen over the years (for dental products, not drugs), are usually dressed super sexy with a lot of cleavage showing!  They were wasting their time with some of the dentists I worked with, but others were definitely flattered to be getting the attention!  🙄

I love this cast!  It's my favorite new show of the season.

I think Scrubs did a similar plotline, though here they went really hard on making Joyce look pathetic.  I felt for her, even if I felt like she was very naive as to the saleswoman's true intentions.

They did!  Heather Locklear was the rep and Dr. Cox was hooking up with her.

I answered my own question! I went back and did close caption.  Joyce said she can't stand Dakota (whoever that is!)

It was almost too cringe to watch. She was worse than Michael Scott when she insisted on paying for lunch so she could pretend they were friends.

Deep down I think she knew, but she didn't want to admit it to herself.  She desperately wants a best friend, so I think she sees what she wants to see (until someone like Ron points out the obvious!)  This has been an ongoing thing for Joyce, so it was nice for her to come to appreciate all of her work friends. 

It's got to be tough to be the boss and try to be their friends.  That can be a difficult thing to balance.

I was really worried they were going to reveal at the end that Megan was genuine, and I'm glad they didn't go there. It wouldn't have been believable at all.

This was easily the most sympathetic Joyce has ever been.

And I appreciated how genuinely concerned Ron was for her.  He likes her!  He really likes her!  

It was fun watching the expressions on everyone's face when Matt called Bruce out for being a jerk!  I find it funny how quirky Bruce is, but Matt was right, he took things too far.

The only thing I got a chuckle out of was Joyce telling Megan she had plans with her friend named (glances at her computer monitor) Joyce.

St. Denis isn't located in Portland; it's in the fictional town of Merrick.  I can't remember if they've mentioned how far that is from Portland, but Joyce compares everything to the hospital in Portland! I think they're supposed to be more rural.

Speaking of Tillamook, although I haven't visited the Creamery, they do make some of the best ice creams around.  Surprisingly we have a good number of cheeses & ice cream to choose from in our grocery store way over here in the South!!  The ice cream is a bit pricey, but it's worth it!  

Scout Finch, do you like the Depoe Bay area?  I have relatives in the Willamette Valley area, and they took us to the restaurant Tidal Raves in Depoe Bay.  It was delicious!  I love that area of the coast.
