"I actually liked Litia all along, and I was initially inclined to feel terrible for her when Grant dumped her.  But, the instant he did, she immediately started coming out with all kinds of sarcastic little comments, and there didn't seem to be any emotion present except for anger."

Don't judge her based on how you would react.  I'm like Litia - I'd be angry first and when that settled down, I'd crash emotionally.

"As for Juliana, I'm sure she's a lovely woman, but I just don't see any real chemistry between them. I'm also distracted by her shiny eyebrows and the fact that she's about a half inch away from a unibrow."

I too noticed her eyebrows. They are quite unnatural looking.

I think that Juliana is lovely.  She's arm candy but lacks many of the vibrant qualities that Litia possesses.  I wouldn't be surprised if deep down, Grant was intimidated by her intelligence, success and presence.  Arm candy and it's little screeches of happiness are a lot easier to deal with.

Does ANYONE want to see this guy?

Where's the  vomit-emoji option when we need it?

I don't even watch the show...just come here (less and less often) to read the comments.  NOW I need to see The Eyebrows, so I guess I'll check a few video clips.  I did watch the two "Golden" shows.  Now and then I read that Joan and Chock (omg..chOck??) are "still together" but struggling.

I have nothing against the "golden" crowd being invited to a beach somewhere, but I just don't think it makes sense to have them there together with the young-uns.  As was said before, if an old guy goes after a young girl, everyone will scream that he's an inappropriate letch.  If a senior woman hooks up with a young guy, everyone will say she's a desperate cougar.  On average, I think there'd be something like a 30ish year age difference (at least), wouldn't there?

Personally, I can't wrap my head around the image of a group of seniors lolling around on the chaises in skimpy swim togs and making out all day.  It's like when you think about your parents having sex!  EWWWWW!!  Yes, you obviously know they did it, but do you really want to picture it?

Since so much of BIP seems to revolve around falling in and out of love (or lust?) on a daily basis and then feeling cheated on when your last night's one-night-stand tries on a new flavor the next day, I just can't see the goldens fitting in.  If nothing else, theoretically they're more mature and should be over so much of the petty bullshit or drama that seems to go more with youth, so I guess I don't see them wanting to waste time with games.

If they've announced the whole senior cast yet, I haven't seen it, but I'm really hoping that Susan Noles isn't a part of it.  She's already so tan that I couldn't stand seeing those oh-so-fake white teeth glowing against an even deeper leathery tropical tan.

More like 45 years!! The regulars are ~25 and the goldens are ~70. I don’t think anyone is going to be creepy enough to bridge a grandparent/grandchild age gap on national television! But…part of me kind of hopes someone will try.

Finally caught up. Are we just ignoring Clayton's hairdo?

If we are going there--OMG that was the worst mullet ever.

Also--Grant's mom is a lovely woman but that was the beigest outfit that ever beiged, it even made her blonde hair look beige.  She should follow her ex's lead and wear colors.

Just watched the Serena and Joe podcast. Grant and Julianna seem like a really good fit.  I’m shocked.  They seem really good together. Julianna seems extremely sweet and real  which I just wasn’t feeling on the show

Real except for those ridiculous eyebrows.  She has too much work to do on herself to be anybody's wife at this moment.  Every season I ask myself why do I watch this show.  I don't actually expect them to make it down the aisle anyway.  Apparently, the bachelorettes have a much better track record of ending of with their "chosen one" than the bachelors.

I have to say, as much as Jessie tried to hype this as "the most shocking ending ever" I thought that the last ending was much more just dramatic, this was pretty standard except the runner up was more pissed than sad. If Grant spent that much time professing his love for Letia and telling her over and over that he was going to pick her, I don't blame her for being angry. He shouldn't have led her on like that if he was so conflicted and was so into Juliana. I wonder how much her wanting kids so quickly impacted his choice, I think I would have respected his choice more if he said that their time tables just didn't match up and didn't want her to have to wait for kids when he wasn't quite ready.

I do think that Juliana and Grant seem better matched in personality and values, it seems like they're a fun times couple while Letia would be a much more quiet homebody, although its hard for me to tell because I still cant get a read on Grant. He's still affected by his childhood issues, he sometimes comes off as a player and other times he seems sincere, I don't really know what he likes or values besides singing and sports, he's still a cipher.

Poor Zoe definitely thought that she was going to be announced as the new Bachelorette, instead she's heading for the beach with a bunch of grandparents. She was smiling away but it wasn't fully reaching her eyes. Its certainly going to be interesting having both the younger and older crowd and the beach together, a tale of generations and bikinis. I have to say, if I was one of the youngers on the beach I would feel awkward doing all of that Paradise stuff with people who could be my grandparents watching, but I also wouldn't be comfortable doing that on national television in general so what do I know.

Yeah if he told her all that she had reason to be upset.  But let’s face it very few of the leads or the contestants really think beyond the moment.  I can imagine her making it clear to him what she expected and him thinking “whatever” until it became time for ever.

And frankly when she went from baby voice to voice of Saruman I thought he made the right choice.  First that was something that said “whoah, who is this person really” and secondly she clearly was really mad that her schedule was getting messed up.  And she became really patronizing towards Juliana.

Again, completely understandable that she was upset.  Do I think he made a mistake?  Nope
